I disagree. If a team uses the number 1 overall pick on the worst qb in the draft(based on college and combine) then that qb turns out to be the goat, they were still wrong to pick him given the information they had. Its about the decision not the outcome

Yeah.. His B- grade made no sense. First, he says taking Simmons was the best pick in the 1st rd. Then, A highly rated tackle in Josh Jones (#4 Tackle overall on PFF board) was taken in the 3RD ROUND, and he's like, "Well...That's just way too good of a steal, so something must be wrong with him.. Then, he's upset they didn't get impact starters with there 4th and 6th round picks. Solid reasoning there.

NY Giants I watched it again and I think each of them has a different grade... although the screen said B- he said I give it my lowest grade a B.... probably every team in the division has a higher grade according to his rankings
NY Giants an example is if me you and Stephen A were talking. We come up with an average. I say the 9ers got a b you say it’s a A+ and stephen A says b- and we average it out to say it was a B+ And I was speaking I would say my lowest grading would have to be a B even though the average is a b+. (This is just an example) not a complete science lol
Man, these pundits need to give actual grades. If you’re going to be afraid to upset a team by giving them a F or D grade, don’t even bother doing draft grades

So you got the best statistical qb in ncaaf history for a career. From the most successful program in ncaaf history. Then got a 20yr old top pick lineman with 40 starts at usc. Then got a top 3 cb of draft at 30? 3 sure things deserve better than a B-. Let alone the sheer number of quality players they got. I guess Im better off with a good 2nd round pick over 3 first rounders, who would have thought that besides these dodos.

I didn't get the Hurts pick either, but question: Is good drafting taking the best player available or drafting for need? The Eagles certainly didn't /need/ another QB, but if he was the best on their board, how is that different from what the Cowboys did? They took a high value WR, but already had two 1000 yard WRs; they had needs at S, which they never even addressed in the draft. I can live with that as a Cowboys' fan, given the haul that they did get, but they didn't just draft for need...
Lions are my favorite it's the best you could ever ask of them. The best CB and RB in the draft, Okwara brothers together, Jonah Jackson and another solid guard to replace Glasgow, Cephus is the only WR to get over 100 yds against Okudah, Huntley has great potential, and DT & DL for the last 2 picks.

52:19 I'm really impressed with Raiders draft. We got some killer players and the WR/RB/QB from Kentucky feels like a complete steal.
I actually liked the raiders draft last year as well, I liked josh Jacobs a lot and I actually did like Clelin Ferrell even though everyone else made fun of the pick.
People mock Carr for his checkdowns and that ruggs can just go for a deep ball, but then explain how he can take slants and go! He has crazy YAC, fits Carr just fine

Dude with the Dolphins there was all kinds of problems. Round 1 pick 18(from the Steelers) they drafted Austin Jackson, they lost Minka Fitzpatrick for this pick. With the 26th Pick(from Houston) they took a DB from Auburn, for that pick u lost Larry Tunsile a top 5 tackle. And your first pick is a QB with a list of injuries longer than the current unemployment line. The Dolphins got nowhere near in return equal to what they gave up. They had the worst draft and basically the worst off season for the past 2 years in my opinion.

For one, they got their franchise QB who has already been cleared by a specialist, A good potential tackle and CB. Yeah the trades weren't good (especially the Laremy Tunsil one, my god that was awful) but the draft itself was decent. We should've definitely been better than the eagles or giants at least
The Browns got an A because they fixed the O line and secondary and then added some great depth pieces and projects. You don't just go for the flashy picks and hope things work out. You go with what fits your scheme and have a plan for how you're going to develop them into what you need them to be.

I think the Bears did pretty damn good with the limited picks they had. Cole Kmet comes in as TE1 and we got a legitimate steal in Jaylon Johnson. Later round picks pretty damn decent as well. Solid B

@@growthmindset2039 Right? They don't even mention that we didn't even have a 1st round pick (which was turned into Diggs) ... Epenesa was a late 2nd round pick, with a first round grade. Moss was a late 3rd round pick with a 2nd round grade. Gabriel/Hodgins give us the tall/long WR we have been missing. Fromm was picked for value in 5th round. In the end, when you add in Diggs to the class i think it's a B+ to A- class. Not a grand slam, but very solid class, exactly what you would expect from Brandon Beane.

Jaime Garcia usually when a team wins a national championship it has a decent amount of players that get picked in the draft. And there’s a good chance one of those players is gonna be drafted on the super bowl winning team.

Kinda surprised that nobody is talking about how good the Steelers did with the picks they were given. Some can argue that they should have drafted Jake Fromm or Jalen Hurts or JK Dobbins, but I think they were smart to draft a big, fast receiver which they needed now for their offense, not a Running back where Connor can be great if he can stay healthy. They also drafted RB Benny Snell last year who has potential if Connor doesn’t work out. I can argue that yes, Jake Fromm could have been an amazing fit as a backup and even potential to be better than a backup, but you have to understand that next year is going to be another good year for QB and there are good QBs currently in Free Agency to fill in that spot either next year or during this preseason. So in conclusion, the Steelers got players that they needed right now to fill in the holes in their team. I give them an -A on the draft if we aren’t including the trade in Minka. They capitalized on the picks they had, and if I include Fitzpatrick in the draft, I give them an A. Great draft by them.

You’re happy with a WR who isn’t a great scheme fit a 3rd round corner in the first a WR who didn’t even play WR last year and a tree that doesn’t separate well?
Jack Sunderland wow u clearly didn’t watch any film on any of them. Ruggs had the lowest drop rate in college football last season and ran a lot of screens and slants and Carr is a checkdowns QB, Bryan Edwards is a big jump ball WR who’ll be a great redzone threat and has great hands, damon Arnette was a reach but similar to Ferrell and kolton Miller its still an above average player at a position of need who fits the scheme perfectly
Michael Marchant Ruggs was the third most productive receiver on a college team he won most of his routes on deep balls which Carr will not throw Bryan Edwards is an unproven Tyrell Williams I wouldn’t be excited about this draft especially when the Chiefs are still the Chiefs the Broncos went wild on offense and already have a great defense and the Chargers filled the only defensive hole they had just saying I would not be as excited as a lot of Raiders fans seem to be

With the Bears pick, there weren’t any good interior linemen available at 43. The next guard wasn’t taken until the early 3rd, so taking one would have been a big reach.

Shouldn’t you rate the draft on the players a team obtains and not just the value of where they drafted them? It is kind of stupid to say that if you drafted X player in the first round it is an F but if you got the same player in the 3rd round it is an A. You either got impact players or you didn’t regardless of when you drafted them... Don’t know why I even watch this.
