For the Vikings there should have been mentions of Fran Tarkenton, Adrian Peterson and Justin Jefferson, all three had amazing rookie years.
Tarkenton was a rookie QB on an expansion NFL team, had 250 yards, 4TDs and rushed for another TD in his first game, which was also the Vikings first game and they won that game, being the first expansion team to do so, a feat not matched until the Texans many, MANY years later.
AP had 2 games of 200 yards or more in his rookie year and even set the single game rushing record.
Justin Jefferson set the rookie record for receiving yards in a single season.

What do I KNOW about Billy Howton ? STILL to this day , he's NOT in the NFL HOF . When he retired , his stats were around the BEST for ANY WR at that time & are all most the same as Tommy McDonalds , who is in the NFL HOF ? WHY !!!!!!!!!! After all this time is he still NOT in ? 500 + RECS , 8, 400 + yards & 61 TDS was [ GREAT ] in the mid 1960's !

For the Colts, the first names that came to my mind were EDGE and Quenton Nelson.
Andrew Luck and Shaq (Darius) Leonard were just below them.

As a Hawks Fan I think Wagner deserved an honorable mention just as much if you put Wilson - Bobby came out the gate with 140+ tackles

Anyone who witnessed Randy Moss in 1998 should understand why he is #1 for the Vikings. He took that team from a 9-7 record the year before he was drafted to going 15-1 and becoming the highest scoring offense of all time in his rookie season. There is no doubt that Moss is #1 here.

      @@randolphduke I didn’t say Moss shouldn’t be number 1, I’m saying AP should’ve gotten an honorable mention

I new Fred Taylor was going to be the pick for Jacksonville. Maurice Jones-Drew was my next pick if it wasn't Taylor. He was an absolute animal out there. Glad I got to see a few games in Jacksonville and one in Buffalo towards the end of his career.

Derrick Thomas would have been the best OLB ever, ahead of Lawrence Taylor if his career wasn't cut short.
