Interviewer: “What position in football do you play on the field?”
Taysom Hill: “Yes.”
You definitely didn't steal this comment ( sarcasm )
That Guy I was just pointing it out
*Yes*
What position do you play?: Taysom Hill
So it's Thorpe, Owens and Hill.

I don't think anyone has more fun in the NFL than Taysom Hill. Dude is everywhere!
Jr. I thought earlier on that Denard Robinson was going to do what Taysom hill is doing now
Jr. like he in high school playing all three sides of the ball
Jr. Nick bosa.
NFL: What position is Taysom Hill?
Saints: What position isn’t he.
T-Wolf 1 in madden they put him at quarterback
So it's Thorpe, Owens and Hill.
I was reading up someone called him Thorterback last season
Well I know he ain’t a kicker and that’s about it
@@abombs_yt6120 He kicked in high school. Wouldn't surprise me if he could still kick a PAT.
What ya'll don't know is that during the offseason..... Taysom Hill also plays in the NHL, MLB, NBA, WNBA, WWE, UFC, Premier League, PGA Tour, Wimbledon, X Games, that weird sport where the dudes sweep the ice so that the rock can slide, and..... the Kentucky Derby (yes, as a horse)
Adhy Nugroho underrated comment
He also plays dodgeball and kickball in his local rec leagues
I heard Hill is a big Cricket baller during the summer
@@nehemiahhoward8230 I know.... I know... it's called curling. I just couldn't help myself. ✌
Don't disrespect him in the WNBA 😤
He is the Swiss Army Knife every team wishes they had! Saints have a bad dude on their Squad!
He definitely put us in the best position possible to win this game. He would not quit and he would not be denied.
I can agree
Me: "What meme is overused?"
KRplus: "Yes."
I'm gonna tell my kids this was yes
Guys a machine
Physically gifted
he better get a card in madden that’s a 90 overall!
and can be used in any position
99*
Can he throw the ball accurately though? I'm wondering if he can possibly replace Brees when he retires.
Beau He won't replace Brees, that'll be Teddy Bridgewater. Taysom will still be playing at all parts of the field, though.
101%
It's awesome they gave him his own highlight video
Its awsome he earned his own highlight!
There's a channel, I think called MarkNorman, where it is nothing but every play Taysom is in in every game. Much more in depth than this, but it is good to see him get some recognition on the official NFL channel as well.
Interviewer: “What position in football do you play on the field?”
Taysom Hill: “Yes.”
Man, I haven’t seen this comment 100 times on every Taysom Hill video
Taysom Hill better be in the Top 100 Players list for next year.
CARSON FRYOU true; number 100
Hate to say it but he won't, he's not putting enough numbers up.
But hmmm Lamar Jackson looks like someone like Hill can do what Jackson can, I bet you Hill could throw a better deep ball than Jackson as well
Tony Flores he really can’t, he’s thrown two deep balls in his career, One was really under thrown and could’ve been picked but Michael Thomas slid and caught it and the other one was overthrown in triple coverage for an interception against the Steelers. But that was last year, he has more receiving touchdowns than Juju, George Kittle, OBJ I believe.
@ginbo : and just say Jackson can't throw lol
And it's funny everyone think there's some kind of expert on the race card now. Let me guess you are a big supporter of Myles Garrett huh lol a fruitcake he is
Taysom Hill is an INCREDIBLE athlete and a GREAT asset to the Saints!!! Geaux Saints!!!!
If kick returners can be in the Hall then this guy also needs to be there one day. Even if Saints release him one day he'll have a job with Ravens as a backup
Chill son chill
MO PRO Madden trust me he won’t get released, he a fan favourite. A good 1/5 of the jerseys are him.
Most versatile player of all time
Starter*
Stop doing drugs I love Taysom but he’s not gonna be in the HOF........maybe the Saints HOF but not Canton, Ohio.
The new position in football, the Athlete position.
Yep, it's Thorpe, Owens and Hill.
Ray Conger image Cam Newton doing what Taysom Hills doing rn
He should totally be listed as a "Gadgetback" on the depth chart
The Packers were so stupid to let this guy go
Love this guy ,bad ass football player
To bad they didn't know how to use him.
They wouldn’t have known how to use him.
Sean Payton is a Genius
Wait, what? Packers never had him. Unless I'm missing a joke

This comment is so old
The discussion no one wants to have is, deep down, y’all know Taysom Hill can do everything Lamar Jackson can do
Can't say the n word
Slim is chillin lmao
Slim is chillin except for actually throwing the football
felix 1947 he can throw it too
Jackson can’t really throw downfield. He will be exposed Sunday. Hill is like Jackson with the power to drag Jarrett 3 yards

Taysom Hill "FOOTBALL"
Taysom hill is a baaaaaad man! Man he is badass!
He’s probably going to be playing DB next week too
I expected him to kick his own extra points too lmao
Taysom Hill ran just over 20mph for the touchdown at :52. He also looked like he was looking back to check if anyone was closing in on him so I bet he could have gone faster. That dude is a beast of a QB and I hope he gets a starting job one day!
His passing is below average
Taysom Hill definitely a top 100 player. He does everything. He might not be great at one thing but he's good at everything.
This guy’s like the Alex Caruso of the NFL.
Bruh.....Alex Caruso averages 5ppg on 40%.......HE AINT GOOD. Stop with this FUCKERY.
And regardless this is a HORRIBLE comparison. Alex Carous doesn’t play Point, Shooting guard, small forward, power forward and center.....

"Hurc from Heaven" love his highlights at BYU, and NFL, his life story show, and one by a cool Black gentleman about how he's come back from injuries, hope guy does follow up shows... He shouldve been there recovering onside kicks to
Taysom was in those plays and the Falcons kicked to the opposite side each time. slow learners but learners just the same.

Baltimore ravens: Lamar Jackson is the biggest multi-threat player in the NFL
Taysom Hill: hold my football
Lamar definitely is
Please do top 10 plays of thanksGiving
Taysom Hill could be the second best rushing QB after Lamar.
*Russell Wilson has joined the chat*
@@LittleTinyElvis Nah, Taysom is definitely a better rusher than Wilson. Taysom would probably be just as good as Lamar at rushing if he had the same team as Lamar. He's basically a stronger, but less slippery version of Lamar.
CAPN CRUNCH U it’s because Wilson doesn’t run very often. When he does, he’s unstoppable. Just watch his early career highlights. I don’t think the best qbs are the ones that put up the best ground numbers, it’s the ones who are great passers who can also run. Lamar isn’t even top ten in passers in the league right now. He’s absolutely one of the best players, and deserves MVP, but he’s not an elite passer yet. Wilson has proven himself as a pinpoint passer who can also run.
@@LittleTinyElvis I agree with everything you've said past the 3rd sentence except for the MVP part. I actually have a very unpopular opinion when it comes to the MVP award, and how they decide who gets it. I tend to question the popular beliefs of many things. I'll just say for right now that I definitely believe he'll win the MVP, but I don't think he should, and I have my reasons for believing that, but I'll leave it at that for now, because that's off topic.
Wilson is a great scrambler, but he just doesn't have the athletic ability like Jackson and Hill. Jackson is much more slippery, much faster, has better vision, and has a running style basically just like a halfback. Taysom Hill is much faster (arguable that he's even faster than Lamar), much stronger (will truck into a 300 pound guy and knock him down), more slippery, has better vision, and also has a running style like a halfback. Wilson is relatively fast, relatively strong, has pretty good vision, and has a running style closer to that of a scrambling quarterback rather than a halfback.
I do agree though, that the better quarterbacks are the improviser type such as Russell Wilson, Deshaun Watson, Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, Gardner Minshew, Aaron Rodgers, Fran Tarkenton, Steve Young, Brett Farve, etc. I also agree that Lamar isn't a great passer. I would actually argue that he's a below average passer.
And people call Ryan Switzer the “Swiss Army Knife”.
Him and Lamar are a damn glitch.
I take Hill over Lamar any day of the week because he can throw a better deep ball then Lamar.
Lamar Jackson is very overrated..... if Baltimore down by two possessions Lamar cannot bring them back cuz he can't throw excuse me he only can throw up to 20 yards anything over that it's off..... and if you actually watch his games most of his touchdowns are no less than 15 yards and lot of them are dink-and-dunk passes.
Lamar Jackson and the Ravens offense is not very hard to figure out what they do, week 3 when Ravens played at Kansas City the Chiefs defense contain him the whole game and didn't give up no more than 45 yards of rushing and no rushing TDS plus by halftime the Chiefs were up three positions and basically that second half was just garbage points and yards for the Raven. Nothing great what Jackson and the Ravens offense did.
Jackson and the Ravens will not go anywhere with that system of theirs it won't work especially if you go against a gunslinger like Mahomes.......good luck
@@tonyflores240 hmm that's one strong take. I'd say Taysom is the less gifted thrower of the two. He's definitely more sturdy than Lamar but Taysom definitely can't make someone miss the way LJ can. He has a pretty good deep ball. I'd refer you to watch his film again but a shorter and better synopsis of his insane talent is found in QB School KRplus channel. People really are sleeping on the kid. The Texans, Rams and Pats had weeks of game film. In other words Romeo, Wade and Bill had tons of tape on this guy and he still carved all of them up. He's as good as they get. Hill is good but he's not LJ. He breaks anytupe of contain you show him and when he's running the ball the box count is automatically in favor of Ravens unless you play some sort of zero coverage.
@@mopromadden8040 Nah, I gotta disagree. Lamar is a below average passer. Taysom might be about even with Lamar in passing. Lamar (when not trying to extend the play) is a first read type of guy, and usually just throws it up to one of his three amazing tight ends, and hopes that they catch it (they usually do). His other passes are usually wide open easy passes. Touchdown passes are short easy passes for the mass majority of the time. He's also not the smartest guy. He isn't very good at reading defenses, and understanding the more advanced parts of the passing game. He more so relies on his great team, and legs than anything. Any QB with a team that flawless would be 10 times better than they are now. I mean, that team is ridiculously perfect. Not even talking about Lamar. Taysom (like you said) isn't as slippery as Lamar, but he can still make people miss like crazy, and also like you said, he's much stronger than Lamar, and can often truck into some people to gain more yards or to possibly run through them and keep going. In many situations where Lamar gets tackled short, Taysom could have probably trucked through them or pushed forward for a few more yards, whereas Lamar just collapses if he gets hit hard. It's also arguable that Taysom is faster. Madden actually gave Taysom more speed on his card than Lamar, and I can definitely see there being an argument for both sides about that.
In conclusion, I would need to see Taysom play some more before I said I would take him over Lamar, however, I definitely wouldn't be surprised if Taysom did actually turn out to be a better scrambler, and better QB in general than Lamar.
@@NoHaBi02 I love Taysom but Lamar Jackson is the truth as a passer. There is a reason why Teddy went into the game when Brees went down and not Taysom. Taysom is a jack of all trades (good thing IMO). Lamar isn't able to make reads yet but honestly doesn't have to at this point in his career because the defenses he sees due to his athletic ability. I think Lamar is the better player overall because he routinely makes good throws (see last week's TD to Mark Andrews under pressure. Now to assume he's not as smart I'd have to question what you are basing that on. And LJ is definitely more elusive than Taysom. Other than that I'd agree with most of what you said
@@mopromadden8040 Teddy went into the game because they couldn't use him everywhere like they can with Taysom. By putting Teddy in, they use both of them.
Well, due to his athletic ability, his great o line, the threat of his great halfback, his coaches great play calling, and his amazing tight ends being able to come down with the ball.
There's definitely exception plays with his arm (as there is for every NFL player with their specific weakness), it's just that most of the time, he doesn't really make any advanced throws. For some reason, the announcers praise him for throwing "crazy arm angle passes" when really he's just throwing a sidearm to a wide open guy. I mean, might as well praise Philip Rivers too. A sidearm is his normal pass, even for deep balls.
As far as how smart he is, I'm basing it off of the fact that he isn't very smart when it comes to audibles and reading the defense. On the other hand, you've got quarterbacks like Deshaun Watson (probably the smartest young QB right now) who has shown to understand defenses extremely well as he calls very smart audibles, explains the defense and audibles to the reporters in a very detailed fashion, basically teaches his teammates on the sideline about the defense, and actually creates his own trick plays, calls them, and executes them perfectly. Can't forget Mahomes either, as he is great at understanding the defense and calling audibles. Heck, even Trubisky shows more football IQ than Lamar. That being said what Lamar is doing is great, and I'm not trying to take that away. I just see many flaws in his game, that his amazing team and coach makes up for. Really, that team doesn't get enough credit. They aren't bad in one single area. I honestly don't believe that there are many coaches that could have made Lamar's play style work like Harbaugh did. Especially if it was on a lesser quality team than the Ravens (pretty much every team in the NFL). Great halfback, Great O line, good and possibly underrated receivers in Snead and Brown, three amazing tight ends, an amazing defense, one of the best coaches in the league with amazing play calling, and arguably the best kicker in the league. Not to mention the fact that the team doesn't have many penalty yards against them, as they're all clean players.
I agreed in my last comment that Lamar was more elusive than Taysom.
I think we'll have to agree to disagree, because I don't see us coming to a total and complete agreement. I can definitely see your argument, but I would wait to see Taysom play more often before I said either was better than the other. Again though, I definitely wouldn't be surprised if Taysom turned out better.
Bill belichick taking notes on signing this guy
So its Thorpe, Owens and Hill.
Man i love dis' dude...on another note: is that coach Tony Dungy calling the game? Man Bucs oughtta hire him back
there has to be some sort of record he broke this game

Yea, future QB of the NOS..Falcon fans must know this by now
If tim tebow didn't have such a big ego, this could have been him.
Jonny Drogba Big ego? What are you talking about? NFL just didn’t pan out for him
Lol no he didn’t have a big ego. They tried him at tight end and it didn’t work out. However on special teams he made big plays.
Stormin' Mormon!!!
Someone needs to make him their legit QB. White Lamar Jackson if you build an offense around him
Would love to see an offense of all Taysom Hill/Lamar Jackson types (similar in that they're versatile) and just completely change up how offense is played, oh you think you know who's gonna throw it? How about a quadruple RPO with three pitches and 9 reverses
Taysom Hill for league MVP?
Observing the saints vs vikings game as we speak. Hill is not a timid qb. Hill, russell, jameison has a spot in there. need 8 more so yes suggestions from KRplusrs are welcome? 1 gets nocked out the list and i will do my research.

This should be a new position in football. Guys like Denard Robinson and Braxton Miller would thrive in this role.
This guy is what Joe Webb should've been
Fantasy sports need to flex him if he is going to keep stealing from Kamara and Thomas.
Kinda upset the Packers released him for garbage players lol
How tf do they not use him more on offense?
Cuz teams we'll figure out what New Orleans is doing when hill is out there unless he just be a decoy but what's the use of that? New Orleans are doing just fine what they're doing with Hill as a utility player.
@@tonyflores240 They could do as the Panthers do with CMC. He's always on the field, and you don't know if he's going for the play or just blocking.
@@edwinolio8076 :yeah they could or hell Hill is big enough to be a TE, I mean the guy is over 220lbs,but hell I do agree have Hill in the backfield with Brees blocking for him. Never hurts to have more blockers on the field.

Taysom Hill is an above average athlete that isn’t good enough to start at any position but just good enough to make into a feel good story. The Saints wouldn’t change without him. Y’all act like this man puts up 200 yards and 3 touchdowns per game.
Rams Fan I agree, but for some reason I disagree as well 👍🏽
Rams Fan you being a rams fan I wouldn’t say anything I would hide lol. You guys are awful. You could use Hill. He’s way better then Goff.
Jack White oh yeah with his 99 career pass yards and 1 INT. He’s a gimmick player that most other guys in the league would mimic if given the chance. You don’t think Kamara could have just taken those TDs instead? He’s not out there Mossing dudes. They’re all set up plays that would work with any other player. He’s a decent special teams player but so are 25 other guys in the NFL.
