Agreed. I'm a Bucs fan and when Minshew started the second half, I got legitimately nervous. If Minshew had started, Jacksonville might have won.
Yea you could tell. The fans were booing Foles. Once Minshew came in they started screaming for more. The defense started playing better. I started getting excited to see what happened next.

@eoe123321 Ur truly blind man, Foles turned the ball over on our first three possessions we were shut out 25-0 by halftime. Minshew came in and actually gave the team and the fans hope. If Dede caught the ball the score would've been 25-18 with 6 minutes left but he dropped it and Sean Murphy Bunting picked it. He tried to pull off a comeback but couldn't do it due to a poor O line and a 25 point deficit.

Everytime Tampa gets a big lead they let off the gas.
Yeah, and it backfired a few times with good teams like Seattle. They need to put their foot on the throats of the other team when they get up. They did it one time, to the Rams, and even then the Rams stormed back at the end but it was not enough. The Bucs offense needs to keep going hard because teams will score when playing catch up because their secondary has sucked. It is very hard to run against the Bucs whether up or down, but once the Bucs get up big other teams start going deep and that is where the Bucs are weakest. If the Bucs could get a killer instinct and stop turnovers they would be dangerous because their secondary will mature and gel and get better.

The 2 teams from NFC with the best records that are not leading in it's division will play against each other in the wild card.

People bagging on Minshew - the guy's a rookie! Yet he's able to inspire a team, has a ton of charisma, a great attitude, and is fun to watch. It goes beyond just his natural ability, which is considerable. Good future ahead if he stays healthy.

Looks like your wish came true.
Minshew is most likely the future. I never would have predicted that, but he can play at this level. He's regressed a bit on his foot work and his accuracy is suffering, but I think it's because he has no confidence in the offensive line. He's still going to make rookie mistakes (he needs to learn how to limit the fumbles) and the defense is going to give up points, but might as well just let him play and get more experience.

It was mostly the def they kept them alive in 2017. They cut all many defensive players from 2017, Berry Church, Dante Fowler, Telvin Smith(maybe retired idk), Jalen Ramsey, Tayshawn Gibson, Aaron Colvin, & Malik Jackson. That's literally gashing like half of the main defense.

You know why Minshew did so much better than Foles? Minshew has mobility and able to throw the ball go quickly. He's much better suited for the Jag current situation: O-line collapse in 2 seconds. The same can be said of another QB suddenly turned bad: Goff. When Goff has no time to watch the routes develop, he just get eaten up. Low mobility QBs are deadly with good O-line. There are exceptional QBs who's good at both, but you are risking your QB life still.

Foles seems to have lost some footwork. That injury could've made him more prone to fumbling in some crazy sub conscious way.
Foles just isn’t motivated anymore. He already one a super bowl and he is not young anymore. Remember he was thinking about retiring before he signed with the jags. Usually when you are thinking retirement you are pretty much checked out of the game mentally.

Before the season started, I told everyone that Minshew was the best QB on that roster. The problem with Foles is that despite going on that 7-1 run in 2013 and winning that Super Bowl a couple years ago, no one wants to make him a starter. Those were great performances that fans cling to and while no one can take that away from him, the truth is that he must perform horribly in practice relative to his competition and the reality is that a player who does well in practice translates into someone who will do well in real games in the long run. Foles' disappointing performance should have been expected.
Jags need an offensive like so badly. And some defensive backs. When Winston is dotting you up like that, theres a problem 😂
