As a Niner Fan, I respect the Saints. Drew Brees is definitely a future hof. And Cam Jordan is one of the most intelligent DE out there, so the Niners have a challenge that I still feel they can still overcome. It will be an awesome game to watch. Go 9ers!

We gotta win this if we plan on getting back into the #1 spot. We cannot afford to lose back to back since we are in the 5 seed. If we lose it’s going to be almost impossible to get back to where we need to be the way the saints and hawks are playing.
If Ford and Breida get back in the line up it could be huge for the 49ers...As a 49er fan I feel New Orleans is a 'Monster' especially in the Super Dome ,Saints hit their opponents like a 'Mac Truck' it will be very,very,very difficult for the SF 49ers but,thier backs are literally against the wall in their dog fight with division leader Seattle. A definite must win for them...We can all only wait and see how this game goes down it will be a physical game with lots of punishment for both these great teams.

Breida may not be back in for SF, and even if he, is the Saints held McCaffrey to an average 2.9 yards rushing and his longest run was only for 9. Cam Jordan keeps going back and forth with Barrett for most sacks, and Jimmy G takes a long time to get the ball out. Ryan Ramcyzk and the O line has kept many notable pass rushers and D lines at bay, and Drew fires the ball out quicker.
This game is just going to come down to execution and minimizing mistakes.
Also, Taysom Hill will be a factor as the SF Defense struggles with running QBs.
Nicholas Parise everything I see so far still just says “optimistic”, but even with Breida the point stands.
And yeah, the situation is the same this week, both great teams that will just come down to execution.
Won't matter if Breida plays. Niners do running back by committee, Mostert, Coleman, Juice, even Deebo Samuel and Kittle can get yards on the ground. The important thing for Niners run game is the scheming and blocking. New Orleans hasn't played a team currently over .500 since weak 3. Niners gonna punch em in the mouth

Look at my suit a team you couldn’t beat at home with a backup kicker, even though we beat them on the road with a backup QB. And put whoever you want in the backfield, we held the MVP candidate RB to an avg 2.9 and a game long 9 yards, and none of your runners are as dominant as CMC. You won’t be able to contain Kamara, Murray, or Hill and Cook will make catches across midfield you won’t be able to stop because your D has had a hard time with TEs. No one on your defense can cover Mike Thomas, and Sherman who has the best chance is still day-to-day.
The Saints are my NFC Superbowl pick. Michael Thomas has been unbelievable this year

Honestly I think saints got this one in the bag as long as they don’t let niners fix up there momentum. Saints are definitely a hard team to fight at home and seeing as niners are gettin back from a momentum stop which last time we saw this the cardinals almost won. this is a huge game for the saints. They might have the same record as the other top teams right now but they have a lot more to prove with this one. They haven't been playing their best ball the last few games. Granted they have all been divisional games, and the NFC south rivalries are intense, but still. Its time for them to step up and show everyone that they truly can be superbowl contenders this year

I think a lot of people are too focused on how niners have been good against non-mobile quarterbacks so they think it’s gonna be easy to beat the Saints with Drew but this man beats you by staying in the pocket and reading defenses he’s one of the best at doing so. Drew is also letting the ball go faster. There’s a reason he has damn near every QB record he’s a vet at breaking defenses apart and the oline when healthy is the best in the league, it’s going to be a good game to watch may the best team win

Oh yea sure, the 9ers are going to run all over what has been consistently one of the best rush defenses for the last several years. People don't give the Saints defense enough credit. They are also high up in the take-a-ways (granted not as high as the 9ers) with the second best turn over ratio. One of the better clutch kickers and a constantly top of the league punter (highest % inside the 20, second lowest touch back ratio). Then they are playing in the dome.
Ravens fans said the exact thing about how we had no shot running the ball against their front and we'd get wiped out, but lo and behold, Mostert had his best game of the year BY FAR.
I know the Saints have a really good rush defense but consider that the 49ers are the #2 rushing team for a reason. It's not just that they are talented and run the ball well. It's that their scheme is good enough to compete with the best defenses. There are two sides to the coin. And to the point of the guy above me, the Ravens are right behind the Saints in rush defense and we still laid 176 yds on them.

If you think the Saints can easily make an example of of them then we are not seeing the NFL the same this year. The Saints are a very talented team on offense with a lot of weapons but the niners defense will be their biggest test so far this season. I'm not talking trash or claiming either team will dominate. I'm just being realistic. And now that the niners fell behind the Seahawks they will be desperate. I believe it will be a good game and be a playoff type feel and am looking forward to watching it.

I kind of feel like that is how a lot of the top teams feel. I am a Niners fan and feel the same way. Always trying to find a reason we ain't legit, like both teams are 10-2 that don't happen by accident. Beat 10 NFL teams this isn't college. Should be a good game on Sunday good luck man.

Weren't the 49ers 4-12 last year? Why is their schedule so brutal? I get that the NFC West is tough but look at their out of division schedule games --Saints, Packers, Ravens on top of a brutal NFC West schedule. That missed fg against the Hawks was a very big deal.
We played the AFC North, NFC South, and the teams that placed 3rd in the NFC East and North(Packers and Redskins).
49ers will blow the doors off the saints. There’s a reason drew Bree’s always loses in the play offs... he’s not clutch against good teams. He’s doesn’t have to play vs brady, roethlisberger, Manning, to get to the Super Bowl but always loses. Besides the bowl he won 15 years ago. Niners 34 saints 9
