At 28 to 3 my dad told me this would be the most embarrassing loss in Super Bowl history and he was right.
HAHAHAHAHA OUCH
Probably not the way he intended though.
Which is exactly why it’s perfect😂

The greatest comeback in Super Bowl history!!!
What an epic game that will never be forgotten!!!
The catch that Julian Edelman made in the super bowl was the greatest catch I've ever seen. I just celebrated my 67th birthday. And I have watched a hell of a lot of football in my time! 👀🏈
First you torture Atlanta fans with brady signing with the rival Bucs, now you post this lmaooo
LOL
Stan ezen you should be. Brady will haunt the falcon’s franchise for the rest of eternity!

I guarantee you if bill was our coach in the 4th quarter we would’ve won this game sorry as coaching smh
I made a $200 bet with a loudmouth Falcon fan AT HALFTIME that even with the deficit that the Pats would come back and win.
While Matt Ryan drinks his morning coffee he turns on his computer and clicks on the NFL KRplus page. He sees this video at the top. Matt does not open it. Instead, he stares blankly into space holding his cup of coffee in the kitchen for several minutes. Matt barely moves a muscle. Eventually, he turns off his computer and walks away.

He doesn't check KRplus and it's been 3 years. If he wasn't over it yet he wouldn't have been so incredible since then

The Bills may have been down 35-3, but the Patriots comeback is better because they had less time than the Bills and they had to complete two point conversions twice.
@@jacksonconley5117 Also, the fact that it was during the Super Bowl.

Who’s here after Matt Ryan’s _HISTORIC_ choke against the Vikings today?
That was a great game lol
not his fault but sad he’ll carry the burden
Me even though I don’t even watch football but it popped up and I got curious lol
Matt Ryan had a perfect passer rating longer in this Superbowl than any QB has had in any Superbowl, Ryan gets the asterisk beside his name but many things are to blame for this.
I'm here after the Vikings pulled out 2 straight games at the last seconds
This is the greatest Superbowl game of all time, and the greatest comeback led by the greatest quarterback of all time, Tom Brady

Actually, Brady wasn't sure at this point. That's why he's not smiling. He was not going to let his guard down or celebrate until after the review had confirmed if it was a touchdown (it was close) and he didn't know that yet until Belichick told him which is where this video cuts off. The NFL will never be the same ever again without Tom Brady. Literally feels like today my whole childhood has gone away. Been watching NFL because of Tom Brady all my life and with him retiring it just feels like there's no need for me to watch it anymore. All his games were top notch and exciting. Congrats to Brady tho he is forever the GOAT. Thanks for all the memories. NFL has lost the biggest star it will ever have. It's like NBA losing Michael Jordan. Damn I am so sad, literally grew up watching him and now it's all over
I feel you dude and im A SEATTLE FAN, he took one of our Super Bowls from us and Brady will always be the heart of my love for the NFL just like Jordan or Kobe
I feel the same way. It will be an odd feeling when next season starts just not really taking much interest anymore. Never again will I feel the heart stopping anxiety of watching him play in a close Super Bowl, the bleak black depression of the days and months that follow a Super Bowl loss or the triumphant exultation that follows a Super Bowl win. That era of my life is over. My earliest memories of watching him were so long ago, I was a young child and now I'm a grown ass man, they feel like a lifetime ago. When I was in elementary school I was watching Tom Brady, when I first got into drugs in high school and made some bad life choices I was watching Tom Brady, when I had cleaned things up and was doing better I was watching Tom Brady. My own life story is inexplicably tied up with his career and now that it's over it just feels strange.

I'm so glad he finally retired. Now, other players and teams can finally get some respect and spotlight. Nobody sane can argue that Brady's the 🐐.

That AFC championship game against Mahomes is pretty special as well. Many years have passed. But whenever I come across videos of that game or this one, I take the time to watch. I've lost count of how many times I've see this. But it always still bring me happiness.

Brady didn't need weapons to win his first three Superbowls either. I think when the game is on the line and he's backed against a wall he becomes far more lethal because he uses everything at his disposal.whereas other QBs try to force the ball into one spot to be bailed out by a number one receiver. What makes Brady dangerous is When He gets sped up the entire arsenal becomes operational (it's green across the board) he is going to use everything at his disposal. Unless you get to him you're dead. Because he's going to use IT-ALL!!!! that ball comes out quicker. Right left left right, short far, hitch, fade, dump cross, the opponent is getting eviscerated

Legend has it that Freeman still is looking for Hightower
Underrated comment
That fumble caused by Hightower changed everything instantly.
I agree. I am going to start campaigning for Dont'a Hightower to make the NFL Hall of Fame. No player has meant more to the Patriots defense over the past 10 years except for maybe Devin McCourty who should also make the hall of fame. In the Super Bowl against Seattle, Dont'a Hightower defeats the block from a pulling guard, and then tackles Marshawn "Beast Mode" Lynch short of end zone. With the game clock running down below 30 seconds and only 1 timeout remaining, the Seahawks elected to try to throw the ball in on the next play and we all know what happened....In the 2018 Super Bowl, Hightower was consistently in the backfield wrecking the game as a Pass Rusher, with 2 sacks and 4 total pressures, as well as a pass break up. In 2017 Defensive Debacle, the "Philly Specia" disaster game where they were gashed for almost 7 ypc and 160 plus yards on the ground, to with 300 more through the air, but guess who was not on the field? That's right, #54

GB won on 3 big plays. So you missed the '76 playoff game vs Raiders, with bad Ref call. Pats could have won SB that year. We finally got them back with The Tuck Rule.
@@dariusparks3954 won 7 out of 10. I still can't believe we lost those 3 SBs, twice to Giants. GRRRRRR!!!!

At 28-3, the Patriots had Atlanta right where they wanted them.
the amount of ads on this is insane
Well the Super Bowl is known for its memorable ads after all.
I was at a party where these guys had THOUSANDS of dollars betting each other on this game and the emotions these guys went through was nuts lol.
Gostkowski’s kickoffs in the 4th quarter were amazing. They managed to pin the falcons deep in their territory for pretty much every possession other than the onside attempt.
Yea that was a really overlooked aspect of this game
thank god someone commented this and got a decent amount of likes. id go so far as to say all of this going down the way it did w/o gostkowski‘s amazing kickoffs is fairly unlikely to be blatantly honest. may sound a bit over the top but the amount of extra-yardage he was able to deliver to the pat‘s defense is absolutely crucial imho. i mean its obvious but it just gives you that much more of a statistically significant chance of actually making a defensive play and forcing a turnover/3&out etc.
not necessarily saying the pat‘s wouldnt have been able to make all this happen but he made it wayyyy more possible and potentially even brought the possibility go a level of actually coming to fruition.
absolutely love that you acknowledged that @Jomitheelf plays like this are just seen as a given by many but often times can make or break your chance at winning or equalizing a game. just imagine he would‘ve f‘ed up one of these kickoffs, falcons return it to their 40 or center field. you saw what julio jones did with that catch. and the 39yd pass rec. + rush. plays like that wouldve had ATL right in the red zone instead of between their own 40 or pats 40 and boom - you have a WAAAY different ball game lol.
just goes to show this WHOLE comeback was a huge *TEAM* effort in which *every single* player and play worked to perfection when they had to.
@@connorestes9814 his last kickoff, with a little more than 50 seconds left, basically sealed overtime. Atlanta had enough time, had they taken a touchback, to run 3-4 plays and get into FG range. He was definitely one of the unsung heroes of the game.

Was watching this from Afghanistan. keep in mind they are 8.5 hours ahead. I fell asleep during the first quarter, and woke up with Brady holding the trophy. Man, I missed the game; but got to come home 9 months later.

The "Edelman catch" was the play when i understood whole beauty of football and started discover this amazing universe. I'm from Russia. Hope I'll be able back to USA (I've been twice) during 20th and watch some games of my favorite teams. Oh wow! :)
@MEEPBUD It's always cool.
I am South african,so in love with football.
and the amazing swings of life. they lost 2 championships in the same way
A catch made u realize the whole universe?
Not gonna lie that's pretty awsome. Soccer is the world's sport being an American who enjoys watching international football it's nice to see someone from another country enjoying the sport. Theres a reason Americans go crazy over football season freezing in the stands as it snows during the playoffs in negative temperatures.
I told myself that if Brady came back to win this game, I'll never call anybody or ever a QB argument that's close. He is the best ever win or lose this Sunday

Re-watching this game many years later, (for maybe the 40th time) all of my friends agree: When the coin was flipped for overtime, and we won the toss, Slater made the receiving gesture as in "we will take the ball", everyone in America who was watching the game, if they have ever watched sports before, knew that the game was over. Matty Ice knew he would never see the ball, poor Arthur Blank and his wife knew they should have never come down from the owner's box, and Tom Brady snapped his helmet on his head and basically said, "we're ending this one now, boys!" And so he did. At that moment, if Brady told his guys he was going to reach up into the sky and pull the moon down, they would have believed him. There have been football players who run faster, who can throw farther, and amass bigger stats than Brady. But there has never been anyone more focused, more confident, and more ruthless in pursuit of a win. If Brady tells you he's going to win it, who can possibly doubt him at that point?
