Its nice to hear them talk about the Eagles without mentioning Dallas. Usually whenever Philly is brought up in national media it is to compare them to Dallas.
well Dallas has beat them the last 4 years so why wouldn't they mention Dallas?
Eagles topped Dallas in 2019, being 9-7 while Dallas missed the playoffs at 8-8. 2018 and 2021, both made the playoffs.
It's because of how big of a market the Cowboys are. It's the reason they're the game of the week so much. Even when they're a medicore team Dallas is in the news.

I think this Eagles defense will be elite. Jordan Davis will command a lot of attention, allowing everyone else to eat!! Jalen Hurts doesn't have to be a hero, he just has to play solid/mistake-free football. I believe in this team and am very excited!

The Superbowl comes down to 2 things most times. Quarterback play and injuries. The team that by week 17 has the least amount of injuries will often be in contention.

A ton of Defensive 1st years Eagles expected to be important contributors.
With the Eagles having 3 1sts and 3 2nds in the next 2 years, and a lot of the current top dogs of the NFC likely off the mountain in 2-3 years with few apparent rising challengers, I'll say we'll be ready in a season or two, for now, the Divisional Round seems like a reachable and reasonable goal.

@@killakangz5317 That's right... Our backs never dominate a game when it count. Miles had 0 TD's last year as our featured back. Fact.. We were not dominate on 3rd down in short yardage with our backs and we could not score on the ground in the red zone on a consistent basis. Not good... Our backs are too small to take over in the second half last year. Eventually, the front office is going to address this issue. Adding two Power backs are necessary in my opinion.

The Cowboys owned the Eagles last year and Dak has owned the NFC East. Go look at Daks Record All Time Versus the NFC East and you will see he has dominated. Until the Eagles get a Quarterback and have depth they won't go anywhere. Dallas will win the division because Dallas has a better Roster and Depth.

I have a conspiracy they they're doing this on purpose. They want to talk the Eagles up to raise the expectations to unrealistic levels. This is a coach and QB in their second year. Dallas is a 9 win team. They'll be in the talks to win the East in the end but will probably fall out by a game or 2 at the end. They have to face several good teams early on. They play the Bucs and the Bengals at the beginning of the season, that will be a good metric.
