After watching the Denver and Clippers game, I watched the 49ers game against the Cardinals, and the Underdogs won both games. The games were 2 a.m. and 5 a.m., respectively, so I watched them all night long, but it was worth it.
Why is this fun NFL only popular with Americans? LOL So I hope NFL can be globalized and spread widely.
This is the most gratifying win of the first round. Proud of the Cardinals to fight on an not buckle under pressure.

They were terrible calls, that one drive with all those penalties costed them the game

My buddy Christopher "Bubba" Boudreaux, who played for Nevada Wolf Pack as a safety and ran a 4.3 40-yd dash, was recruited to the 49ers training camp by Kapernick as a safety but blew his knee out in the camp. As a kid I knew he had the potential to make it to the Nfl and in a sense he did. I really wanted to see him play.

Hopkins though. 14 catches on 16 targets. One miss was because Kyler skipped the ball to him. The other was a miscommunication that was uncatchable. Essentially if it was around Hopkins’ hands, he made the catch. Those two are gonna be a nasty duo for years to come.

LoL...If you think a 30 yard scramble and a 40 yard pass to Hopkins is a "Kylar Murray clinic" then I don't think I really understood how rough it has been for Cardinal fans. He was unable to put a drive together until into the 4th quarter and the goal line stand and blocked punt is the reason they won. Go watch the Packers win...that is a clinic. Let's set the bar a little higher for him because Murray won't get many wins playing like that. He did what he had to do to squeak out a win, but I think we watched different games. (I know 14 of 16 to Hopkins is amazing, but it needs to translate to points.) The game reminded me that Hopkins is still a top 5 WR and Arizona was smart to trade Johnson for him.

It's the Cardinals division now. They'll go at least 12-4 this year, and for many years to come pending injuries. 49ers blew their chance to win the SB last season by having Jimmy at QB. Now they're going to have serious competition every season with the Cardinals and Seahawks.

What a game by the Cardinals! Kyler was great, still could be better, but he was great. His threat with his legs is one of the most lethal weapons an offense can have! D Hop had a great first outing, but that's expected with a stud of his caliber. Kenyan Drake with some vital plays at huge moments. Overall the offense has taken a step forward. Great to see that they aren't relying on future hall-of-famer Fitz... Hopkins is the true, workhorse wideout that they needed.
Murphy and Peterson with some spectacular BIG TIME plays to prevent the Niners from winning! The Cardinals defense seems to be on the up. Despite a slow start, they bounced back and played well.
As for the 49ers, Shanahan still is proving how much of a badass play tactician he is. He is drawing up some nasty plays (take the opening touchdown for instance!) With an offensive genius like Shanahan, you truly don't need elite talent... The plays are the key. Garrapolo was a little underwhelming. You get paid like a stud, you've got to play like one. Can't keep on being just a part of this offense, he has to LEAD and be one of the best players on his team. He is being outshined by his playcaller.
The 49ers defense seems to have regressed a bit. Though it's expected as it's very hard for defenses in the NFL to maintain great seasons... The trade of Buckner also does have an impact on that...

5 Reasons why the 9ers lost:
1.) Keep MOSTERT as the starting RB, he has the experience not McKinnon.
2.) Jimmy, learn when to tuck it and run for the 1st down to avoid the sack.
3.) All of 9ners starting WRs are injured.
4.) Defense put absolutely no pressure or containment on Kyler Murray.
5.) Arizona is actually a very good team this year especially with the addition of Hopkins!
*Kyler but fair assessment. The Cardinals certainly earned this win but the Niners are the defending NFC Champs and the WR corps is clearly depleted, they should've played better and not have the offense be that slow to score.
