I think I understand what BoB is doing. He wants to add more speed and weapons for Watson. Last season when Fuller was hurt the offense stalled, even with how great Nuk is. My biggest gripe with BoB now is how the hell do the Texans not get a 1st rnd pick for Nuk when Stefon Diggs does?
That’s the problem I see that the Texans didn’t get near fair value. With that being said, we still got lots of options on Offence.

Cowboys completely changed their entire coaching staff. Head coach, defensive coordinator, secondary coach, for the special teams (last in the league last year) brought in the best special teams coach in football. After 10 years of the same coaches, it’s gonna be a completely different look

Okay, as a Texans fan, I have to agree that we should’ve gotten more for nuk, but hear me out: In my opinion the biggest struggle for the Texans offense was that Will fuller would be injured every other game... what this did was make it so Deshaun Watson and all of the wide receivers and to learn essentially two playbooks, a with-fuller offense, and a without-fuller offense. This trade netted us Brandon Cooks, who, when fuller is hurt, can come in and run his routes nearly as fast as fuller could. Now the Texans offense will never lose its speed factor. Seriously this is huge, look at Watson with fuller and Watson without. You would see that having fuller/ the speed factor is nearly as important to the offense as Nuk was. Next I’d like to point out that adding David Johnson allows us to disguise our pass plays. Last year we went with Hyde and Duke Johnson, and whenever Hyde was in , it was made clear to the defense that we were running it, now that isn’t so much the case. Because, no matter how washed up you really think David Johnson is, he can and will catch a football. Lastly, give our dang wide receiver core some respect... I mean Randall Cobb is literally our 4th string wide receiver. Look some in the eyes and say Brandon Cooks, Will fuller, Kenny Stills, Randal Cobb, and Keke Coutee is a BAD group of guys. You can’t... But in the grand scheme of things I have to admit we should’ve gotten more from this trade. Ultimately BOB didn’t have to make this trade if he didn’t want to. No one put a gun up to his head and told him to do this, he made the conscious decision to do this. Just like he made the conscious decision for the Tunsil trade and that by all means worked out great. I can’t imagine that someone who is smart enough to literally take over an nfl organization and smart enough to take Brock Frickin Osweiller to the playoffs can truly be as stupid as the media is saying. Rant over...
@@michaelmohn5795 the bigger question is that he got an injury prone rb in DJ and 2 and 4 pick. In my view that's really underselling a future HOF receiver. They should have atleast made it an all picks trade and with one 1st rounder included. No one is questioning bill's coaching, it's just that being a GM requires a different skill set and this trade was bad in terms of value..not in term of the intention by in itself

Gordon is a bum though. He was tied for the league lead in TD's because the only carrier he got was on the goal line. Austin Eckler would run the ball down the field and essentially set up Gordon for an easy 6. For what he was paid and drafted at he was a bum in his role. Eckler outplayed him greatly.

The Texans will continue to be up there in the division. Deshaun Watson has more weapons, there not the level of Hopkings but there a top 20 at their position. Go Texans
And i still think he will be great . Stafford got better w out Calvin Johnson.
They will continue to be mediocre. O'Brian is good at mediocrity and a terrible game manager, play caller and GM.
Panthers Defense
I hate BOB as much as any Texans fan, but we we from having 2 WR that are good (can't include Fuller cause my guy is never healthy), to having every single offensive skill position stacked. Watson has a good OLine if Tytus Howard stays healthy, and all of his weapons are freakishly fast receivers. He's gonna be able to find an open player in Cooks, Cobb, David and Duke Johnson, Stills, and of course Fuller.
You have 4 or 5 good receivers counting Fuller and if you want to count Coutee as good
@@qwertos9235 A lot of times don't even have 2 good weapons, our offense is a lot more balanced and more stacked. I miss Nuk as much as anyone else, and who knows if we are better off now than before, but I for sure think we can find a balance in offense.

@@qwertos9235 Duke Johnson makes a good checkdown threat, but the wildcard is David Johnson. If David Johnson can be as productive as he was before, then we can be a top 5 offense. That's a big if though, I doubt it will be anywhere near good enough to cover the loss of Hopkins.

Yeah seriously! New front office staff, new coaching staff, lots of rookies and FAs this offseason. We're not guaranteed to be good this season, but the Redskins definitely had a huge overhaul/personnel shift and that's undeniable.
