As somebody who started following the Lions in the 1960s, I have to say this. The number one problem Detroit has had all this time is that they have never gotten a head coach named Josie to go with the Pussycats😏.

4 out of the last 6 NFL night games have been nail-biters, down-to-the-wire games. Last night, unfortunately, was not. Green Bay, led by Rodgers, did what I expected them to do, bounce back and defeat the lions convincedly. Rodgers dissected the Detroit Lions secondary thoroughly. I knew the Packers would win by at least 2-touch downs. Two games under the Packers belt and I feel they will now take off. This, only because they are in, one of the leagues, weakest divisions. I was not favoring any one team. I only wanted an exciting tight game. As for the Detroit Lions, they are who they are, perennial losers. The fans, owners, and players need to stand up the powers that be and get things changed. A new head coach with his people (coaches) and a new General Manager. If this can not be done, then it is because of the owner. They have not been to a Super Bowl ever. What else needs to be said? The Packers next go to San Francisco. This is going to be a true test for both teams. On the other hand, the Lions entertain the Ravens at home. Look for the Lions to be 0-3, unless they knock out Lamar Jackson from the game. Then, maybe they might have a chance. Next week's NFL night games: Panthers (2-0) at Texans (1-1), Packers (1-1) at 49er's (2-0), and finally Eagles (1-1) at Cowgirls (1-1). This last night game of week of week three show cases two of the worst teams in NFL history, with Dallas having the easiest schedule NFL history.
