@ everyone that already has a silisponge (idk how to spell it) or one of these silicone sponges and don't like it for makeup application, don't throw it out! I suggest you guys repurpose it and use it for your skin care. It's more sanitary and won't spread bacteria from your hands to you face and is more sanitary for products that are in a jar as long as your wiping off the sponge between uses. Also because they're not porous like a sponge and our hands it'll make sure all of your product is going to your face and not into your fingers. I don't have one of these sponges but it's just an idea. (:

I barely ever watch beauty channels, plainly because I don't find them entertaining or useful much. But her channel is amazing. She is so funny, pretty and great at makeup! xx
Can we just all agree that the beauty blender sponge is the the best blender. It adsorbs product but the finished look is amazing. And you can literally do everything with a beauty blender.. ( foundation, concealer, highlighter, setting powder)
Faith Raphaella tbh sometimes I like when it absorbs product tho. Like if I want to make my contour blend seamless with my foundation I can just use the left over product stuck on the bb. I just hate that we have to spend $20/each for sponges lol 😩

go on amazon they sell two blenders with the soap. I usually wait for it to price drop to 30$. Right now its 40$ so you pretty much get the cleanser free.

You know what? You were so right about everything you said referring to beauty blender and other make up sponges that become a trend only for a week or so. When silicone sponges came out everyone was so obsessed with them, so that they even compare them against the beauty blender. In my opinion, silicone sponges just give you the full amount of product without even getting it well-blended onto your face. In contrast, the beauty blender takes the excess amount of product and other than that ,it blends the foundation so flawlessly that gets into your pores and covering them .Something that with my experience with silicone sponges did not happen at all cause my makeup just smeared all over my face.I just couldn't handle it.#makeupaddict

Nikki -you should absolutely give all your honest feedback to the Evie Blender ppl! You have so much experience with so many different products, so your opinions would be valuable to the company! At least, I hope your feedback would be valuable to them! They would be crazy not to at least consider this info! Anyway, I have dry skin so thank you saving me money!
PS: I am dying to know if this sponge works well for oily skin! Maybe they are on to something here after all in the oily skin community, who knows! Worth testing out. Maybe you could do a part 2 of this video using an oily complexion friend to assist you?? I'm serious! I am legit dying to know if this kills for oily skin!!
Someone commented that there are 3 different ones and the one Nikki used is for oily skin and makes foundations matte. So one of the others is probably for her skin..
AsHLiegh STeVie MaRie-HoPe No, that person misunderstood why it's called Matte Magenta. The others have glitter embedded inside the silicone, the matte ones don't. The outside finish is exactly the same though. :)

If she reviews cruelty free products and hopefully shows that they are as good as her other products would be much better (my opinion)

I actually believe that the L'Oréal infallible foundation blender sponge is a real dupe for the beauty blender. And I actually prefer the shape more. You should definitely give that one a try! I'd love to know what you think of it :) they both give the same finish, feel the same, and absorb the same amount of product (like the L'Oréal one doesn't absorb more product than the beauty blender which I think is a positive haha).

hsaadah6 I personally like the real techniques miracle sponge, it's the first one I've ever really liked. It doesn't seem to absorb a lot of product but it's still super soft and it makes my face look flawless. I've never tried a real beauty blender because I just DON'T want to spend $20 on one sponge.
It's a really nice sponge for sure, but I think I'll stick to the Real Techniques sponge. I like the flat edge, and the L'Oreal one started tearing after the first wash.
