Ronak Deepak though I do wish some of the original tracks from the DS version could have been imported into this one, I still can't wait to play it and mellow to it too.

I HIGHLY recommend shogi! Me and a buddy made our own board and pieces and an art project in HS and play online to this day!
Whoever did the sound effects for this deserves a reward. They made it as immersive as possible, and the HD Rumble for some pushes it to new levels.

Maybe if it came free with the Switch or it was $10 then yea I'm sure the game would have tons of positive reviews, the only problem here is the amount of content you're paying for which is very little.

1:59 Nintendo got their start producing Hanafuda cards. I hope they incorporate some of their own classic designs.
They are. Back when Club Nintendo was a thing, I got a mario themed deck of Hanafuda cards, and I think in one of the screenshots (or trailers, my memory is horrible) I saw that same deck being used as a theme for Hanafuda.
If I remember correctly the jp version of the trailer shows the Mario themed version of it.

I have to say, I really like how this game is 60fps, has a great calm soundtrack as well as a fantastic and very satisfying sound design.

The first one had a really good soundtrack so it's nice to see that it looks like a reoccurring theme for these games.

you have to play it lul den lose because we all dont know how
-You have to put all your pieces(coins/pawns? Idk which word is used in English for that, but whatev) in your last quarter of the board before getting them out
-You can't put one piece on a place where there are 2 or more of you opponent's
-if one of your pieces land on a place where there's only one of your opponent's, that last one goes back at the beginning and your opponent has to put that one back on the board before moving others
-You roll 2 dices, and can move 1 or 2 pieces how you want (example: 3 and 6; you can move either 1 with the 3 and 1 piece with the 6 or only 1 piece with the addition of the two, so 9) and if you get a pair you get to move 4 times the value (a pair of 2s : 4 times the 2s, so 4 pieces with each 2, 1 piece with 8 or however you want to get a movement of 8)
See? Not that difficult to understand (or at least I hope I wrote it so it's understandable)

Ngl, I’m pretty excited to play this. There’s so much shovel ware on the eshop that is just one game from this game’s lineup, so having it all in one package is pretty good. That and there’s Nintendo themed games included too.

The original game on DS was built so well and had an excellent presentation; I’m so excited that it finally has a sequel on switch. Day 1 buy for me, easy.

It's actually really simple. You can only place a piece if it sandwiches 1 or more of your opponent's consecutive pieces between the newly placed piece and an already placed piece. When you do that, you flip all of your opponent's consecutive pieces between your 2 pieces, changing them to your color and thus making them your pieces. The game ends when the board is filled or no more plays can be made, and the winner is the one with the most pieces of their color (under their control).

Besides the four single-player games, you can't play Fishing, Team Tanks, or Slot Cars online. They are, however, the only three to support the multi-screen thing shown at 4:17.
