There’s a big difference between a week and 36 days. The game was popular, so the devs wanted to get on the DLC quickly. This is still pretty speedy for a DLC launch, please stop complaining.

Paky kun It’s not “super scummy”. A lot of companies that you know probably use methods like this as well. Nintendo’s Fighter Pass in SSBU, Xbox Live subscriptions, Sony’s PlayStation Plus, Fortnite’s Battle Pass, it goes on. It’s a way to unlock extra content if you’re willing to pay. Think about all of the work put into the DLC, it’s an extension of the game. Working on the game costs money, and they need to turn a profit. It’s a way to support the game. If you want to look at the devs giving extra content of two DLC packs for $10, that’s just you I guess. If the DLC is bad and/or not much effort is put in, then it would definitely be scummy and not worth it.
EDIT: Sure the main franchise may be the best video game seller of all time, but if they feel like asking for more money that’s their deal. Not sure when $10 was ever hard to find unless you live in a poor family, in which case I apologize.
Like, remember when fighting games had full rosters instead of asking you money for half the characters and costumes *cries in tekken for the PS2*
Paky kun Fair. But, let’s take for example SSBU. There was already a full roster of characters from all the previous games being 76 (counting Pokemon Trainer as 3 different characters and Echoes as their own characters). There was more added onto it because it was successful and people liked it. A lot of fan-favorite or fan-requested characters were added in DLC or in the base roster for new characters in this game, the highlights being Joker from Persona 5, Banjo-Kazooie, and Terry Bogard. Most games do not require money for literally half the characters/costumes like you say. You’re putting these devs hard work to shame by stating over-exaggerating the cost for content. Guess if you really wanted to you could say 100% of the game is pay-to-win because it’s behind a paywall of the main game. Isn’t that wacky?

They clearly released it incomplete... I'm not sure if this DLC is free or not but they're pretty scummy if it's not.

I completely agree. The game is way too short. I only played about 10 hours of it on my Switch(because I got stuck) and I was very disappointed. Not worth the $20.
It's only 20 bucks for base game and you have 2 more adventure modes after you beat base (more mobs, enchantments, equipmemt). 11 levels, and secrets. The add on is $10 making it a $30 game
gonna wait for Torchlight 3 to be completed instead

If a game just released and already you have finished DLC ready to market for a price....That means you were working on the dlc before the game came out and that content should be base game.

@@dimitriosgladio059 Because Minecraft is not a small Indie thing anymore... When things get super profitable they don't mind selling their reputation for extra profit. Just look at what's happening with Pokemon right now. It's always the most profitable studios... Nothing is enough.

My question is how is it going to be difficulty based? I’m guessing it will be rounded by the level of Items you have.
So there're 3 modes. 1st difficult= easy, 2nd adventure= medium, 3rd apocalypse= hard. The other 2 will unlock once you defeat a certain enemie and the harder it gets you'll might need more items to not die.
Someone said it wasn’t really satisfying for them. They beat it on Hardest difficulty within 40 min.

Dannydoodoo I was grinding for things until I felt comfortable going into the last level. So, if anything, go to a previous level for a bit, or increase it by 1. ❤️ (PS4 here btw)

Mojang when they realize they made a game without replay-ability: *so anyway, I started pumping out more content*
They realized nothing, that DLC was planned WAY before the main game's actual launch. Some hacker dug in the source code, and found a good chunk of unreleased assets that will probably be released with this DLC. It's basically extra content behind a paywall, only they waited a month to not be called out on it.

@@neetscholar4149 I mean, when you look at the map in-game it also showed an ender eye icon which spoke about upcoming DLC since launch day. So the choice to release them was not at all hidden before.

Ok I just have a question for all ps4 Minecraft bedrock Edition players, has anyone else been having this same problem where you can’t see any of the customizable clothing and emotes from certain achievements, they were there the first day the update came out but than the next day they
just disappeared?
For me on pc there wasn't any achievement emotes and there were just today actually

They don't care about console players. It's actually really sad cuz we pay the same money for our games as Java players.

Nice, but I really hope this update also includes patching against all the crashing and the potential for safe data loss that has been part of our experience playing this game as family of 4. The only safe way to play the game is to take backups of the save files for each player so we can restore as needed if the game crashes and corrupts save data for any of the players.

Well this content was apparently already in the game because a hacker was already able to leak most of this dlc by tapping into the game files; so they essentially locked it behind a paywall from day one

I know this isn't an animal crossing video but I've noticed that a few certain colors that the player sets manually when they make a custom design, doesn't work the way the should. Its pixelated the way it is on the grid and I tested it with a slightly different color and it worked the way it normally would. Is it supposed to do that?
