Inspired just means elements of real occurances were used, otherwise it would say something like ''true stories'' or something like that :) The true events may have been used as a base but that doesn't mean that they had anything to do with werewolves in our world/history.
It puts the character who is a werewolf in an actual protest that happened a few years ago and uses it as the setting

No it's not. More accurately speaking it's in the old World of Darkness setting. The setting is shared by WtA, VtM, Mage, Orpheus, Changeling and more.

@Jonah Meiers it’s true. But, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it’ll happen. Sure Nintendo is very skeptical in terms of updating their direct archives BUT it doesn’t really have to mean that a new direct will happen anytime soon. Don’t get peoples hopes up.

I really enjoyed it personally, and felt the writing was pretty good. I played it twice and I am surprised at how different it played out with different choices.

Wow... Old World of Darkness went out with a bang back in the mid 2000's so seeing this had me doing a major "WTF". I know when I played, Old World was way more loved than the new World stuff so this has me wondering if we may possibly see stuff for Vampire, Mage, Changling and Wraith. I would for sure grab a story type game for Wraith.
I was pleasantly surprised myself. Loved the old WtA setting and backstory and was sad to see it replaced with the awful werewolf the forsaken setting. Here's hoping this is a bit of a revival of Old WoD.
@@iank472 I myself was always on the fence between the two. White Wolf has amazing writers and Old World showed their talents well with all the lore, but at the same time that made things more restrictive unless you decided to make your own lore. New World is written in a way to be far more open to story tellers choice but it makes for a bit more dull reading. I respect groups who love either and can see why there's affinity for both but for this type of game, it was a faaaaaar better choice to go with Old World and it's rich lore.
@@TheSynthisis as a hardened lore junkie who read far more of the sourcebooks than I ever got to play or run I just found the Forsaken/Requiem background a bit lacklustre. That said it definitely had a decent rule set you could build your own background around!

This is a good game but it's very short, (i did it on PC) like 10 hours MAXIMUM if you want to replay the story multiple times (3 hours per run) to see all the paths. The ambiance is top tier but when the story begins to get good it brutally ends :(
It feels like a demo and it's a shame because there are some really good ideas.

Role played werewolf the apocalypse years ago and I enjoy horror, so this is a maybe for me. However, why is it whenever they have wolf or wolf monsters in media they have to use tiger/lion/leopard sounds to make them sound scary(er)? Wolves don’t roar or sound the same at all. What’s wrong with using their natural sounds in a wolf game? Yeah big cats sound way more ferocious but I’m not playing with big cats.
