Fun fact: the lead designer of the original game went on to be the director of mother 3 which is funny because this chapter of the game has you be chased by what's pretty much the ultimate chimaera

@@luketerry3635 The game does mention that Porkey had been kidnapping people from other timelines, so Andonauts was probably one of the first he kidnapped to kickstart the Chimera project.
He never worked on anything after Mother 3, strange. Since despite never being released outside of Japan, I’d assume it would be well-received enough domestically to lend him more games. Also I enjoy Mother 3 the most in terms of gameplay for the series.
I love how, unlike the other trailers, this one does NOT spoil a certain event in the chapter!
Despite being just a Super Famicom game, I remember this part being pretty eerie.
I mean is based of 2 horror movies being alien and 2001 a space a odyssey.

Fun fact: If you manage to complete the whole Captain Square minigame in one sitting while Kirk is watching at the beginning, he'll actually react to it.
Am I the only one who's super impressed with the voiceover work for the game as well as how amazingly cinematically put together these trailers are? Of course, it helps that Megalomania is such a banger of a track and rounds them off spectacularly, but I feel like the voice acting really shines too, especially in this one.

Cube's voice actor is 10/10
Gotta love the little name references in each chapter to the genre they're based on. (Captain) Kirk and Darthe (Vader) stand out here.
Favorite chapter for me! Love Cube! Don't want to spoil, but this chapter is way different from other chapters.

Fun fact: Nobuyuki Inoe, the Lead Designer and Battle Director the original game, bacame the Director of Mother 3.
There is also a reason why the Cube character is a sphere, but you will need to play the gamw to find out.

I didn't know anything about this game a month ago. Then I watched all the trailers and then the synopsis of the story. And here we are, super excited and hyped for the realease, and ready to buy it physically

@@arikari3672 Aw, as an old player I can say most of us are out here wishing new players WON'T be spoiled. When you play, you probably won't realize what was a spoiler until afterward. But originally, the game did not advertise the content of the latter part of the game at all, which is a tactic they've changed now. So for us there was more game we never expected to see, and it was a crazy surprise. Anyway, it makes me happy to see so many positive comments on these trailers 🥰 (The final one is out in Japanese now.... so I keep checking to see when the English one comes X_X)
This has become one of my anticipated games of the year. I can't wait to try this.

Ah yes, the chapter with people dying on an isolated spaceship and you have to find out who's responsible as everyone gets paranoid and accuses each other. And all you can think is "Who among us is doing this?"

This might be my favorite chapter, though I think it works best as something that comes after playing the other chapters, as a culmination of how far humanity has come, and how this new form of live that humans have created are inheriting their spirit, so-to-speak.
This chapter was genuinely the best horror game I’ve played.

Cube's chapter has only one battle (the boss itself), and is more story driven.

Likely about 95%. You can rename your characters, but whether you go for default or not, any dialogue pieces featuring a protagonist's name will be silent.

Maybe they’ll do a tiptoe around it like in Persona 4/5 where the protagonist is usually referred to by a nickname and if their name comes up in written plot-relevant dialogue, it’s quickly subbed in the audio as "he" or similar.

@@Hebleh three time periods three different stories, in one game, whilst I get it I also worry itll weaken all 3 where one could have focused and made one big strong one instead, but then J stuff usually I'd crap at story telling and dialog anyway so who knows
@@locktock9 There's more than 3 time periods though? There's technically 7, prehistoric, 2 drastically different points in japans history, the wild west, 1984, the near future and sci-fi era, alongside the spoiler one
And all of them converge together.
Also considering this game is pretty famous and responsible for game elements later put into Chrono Trigger, Undertale, Mother 3, and other big titles, Im pretty sure it's not of low quality lol
