In Germany you can get the Game for verry cheap but it´s in used condition but this may not be a problem for the sake of playing it

I don't see what you are saying here. You could play Sunshine already on the GameCube and Wii officially, and the Wii U actually had full native GameCube support, it was just basically completely unused, but using mods you could get Sunshine running there in about an hour. This is literally the 4th console in a row to have support for Sunshine.

@sin megami tensei That’s just wrong, limited time sales work all the damn time, that’s why they are so blasted on any ad nowadays. “Limited time deal, buy one get one half off!”, etc. It’s all about creating the sense of urgency for the consumer, and without it for this game not many would be tempted to buy because they would wait for more reasonable deals.
It’s not even that the game is limited, sure that is a stupid decision on its own, but the fact that Nintendo didn’t bother to put any extra effort into what was supposed to be a 30th anniversary celebration of the biggest gaming icon in history is ridiculous. You can literally emulate these games for free with even more features than the official $60 ports. I don’t care what you say, nothing justifies this lazy game mashup being a limited release

Why I play: Sunshine is expensive and a bare bones re-release, with debug cubes at launch, was the only alternative.

"Why I don't play" - Use of FOMO tactics to pressure buyers, 3 barely enhanced ports, next to no extras aside from soundtracks, overpriced, other miscellaneous issues, already own a physical copy of all 3 games and a working console to play them on.
@Yoshifanatic1: Truth it his not for everyone, but you have to keep in mind old console will eventually not work anymore, and their could be a point where it become so broken that it can't get repair, so at that point you will regret not buying 3d all-stars because at that point, Game cube, N64, or a Wii might be really hard to found in a good working condition, that his guarantee to be a pre-used one. You know the risk, but other people does not have the money to buy new console and keep their old one.

@@SuperNickid I'm aware of the fact that these older consoles will eventually stop working. However, the fact that I already own all 3 games in this collection and have the means to play them is the most minor reason why I chose not to buy this. I'd have been willing to buy 3D All-Stars had Nintendo not made this a limited release for no good reason, and if it either included more content to justify the $60 price tag, the games were enhanced much more, or the price was a lot lower. Look at what other game collections released on the Switch offer and their price, and you'll see why I expect better from Nintendo.
However, if I didn't have a working console to play these on, I have a fairly powerful laptop that can handle emulating these games. I'd be able to run all 3 games at a higher resolution and with higher quality textures than what Nintendo is offering. If Nintendo doesn't want people to do this, then they have to put in the effort to give their players the better experience rather than stamp out competition they don't like (legit or otherwise). As is, the only reason I'd recommend anyone play this collection is if they've never played any of these 3 games. From the perspective of a newcomer to these games, this is a great buy, but for anyone else, not so much.
@@Yoshifanatic1 Not everyone his lucky enough to keep their old labtop that still have N64 emulator in it, My old laptop that I used that on, still works, but it takes 3 hours to turn on, and it take another 3 hours to start a software, then since it become unusable for being too slow I got a new labtop, and that one broke down completly, it would not turn on anymore but I was lucky that everything on the C drive was ok. So I did not lose the emulator I currently put in it, good thing it was just NES, and I did not get it from an online website. And it his a good thing I did not have N64 emulator with it because if I did I could not place it in this current laptop because not enough memory, because it his a window 10, and it commes jam pack with XBoX game that you can't deleted.
@@SuperNickid Your old laptop sounds a bit like my previous one from 2016. In my case, it was because the geniuses who created it were probably like "We can save money by programming the processor to slow down when it gets hot. That way, we don't need to put a fan in there!" The result was a ~$600 computer that randomly slows down to SuperFX chip levels of processing power whenever you try to do anything with it, especially playing games. I think it also had a mechanical hard drive, which compounded the processor throttling issue. Thankfully, my newer laptop is so much better.

Mario defined my childhood. Super Mario Bros. on the NES was the first game I ever played, actually... and I was just two years old. The games taught me patience, perseverance, ingenuity, a love for adventure, and to fight to do good in the world, even when the odds are against you. Honestly, Nintendo, that little Italian plumber had such an influence on the course of my life... and you'll never know how grateful I am for him.

Let me tell all the members of the comments (before they get turned off) of a woeful tale I had with the collection
I was playing Mario 64, about to fight king bob- omb. I scaled the summit, and saw him there. I grabbed him once, and threw him. I was going to win the star. But then, my joy-cons drifted backwards. Mario ran from king bob- omb. I tried to move him back, but it was too strong. As Mario fell down off the summit to the next level, all while I tried to move back, the rage inside me built. Then, he fell down to the bottom, and a life was lost. This happened 3 times until I changed joy- cons. :(

Me too. I got Mario Galaxy around the age of 8. It was my first 3d Mario game and I love it. I never played 64 and Sunshine. I did play 64 DS though with my cousins. Playing these 3 games in a collection it a joy and pure wonder and fun. Now let's just hope that Nintendo adds Galaxy 2. If you ask me Galaxy 1 or 2, I perfer the sequel.

I play 3D All Stars because it's the first time they re-released Sunshine and I wasn't missing the single re-release of my favorite game. It's a shame that I even have o worry about it going away to begin with.
I know it's not the most convenient means, but if you have a strong PC- there is literally no excuse, you can emulate it. It's not illegal and never has been. It's certainly morally okay to do so in light of how sinister Nintendo plays its hand. And by the way, their deck is marked.

@@patriziacalabrese9415 Honestly even that isn't true. Get a Wii and play all these games on that. That way you're not stuck with the dumb Shindou version of 64, you have proper control and no emulation bugs in Sunshine, and everything is retained in Galaxy. The Wii genuinely is the best way to play this stuff if you're not an original hardware guy like me. The collection has far too many disadvantages to be considered the definitive way to play any one of these titles. Only reason I bought it was because it's literally the only time Sunshine's been re-released.
Edit: Oh yeah, and the wii plays Galaxy 2 on top of all that lmao.

What we want:
• free online service (if connection is not great, it's still fine, because it's free)
*or*
• paid online service (with excellent connection and maybe old N64/Ganecube Games)
And of course no limited time games.
Why I play: Because it's limited time (also I don't even own it)
Better buy it before it evaporates or buy these games and consoles second hand for hundreds of dollars (if only there was another way to play retro games the company rarely or stupidly re-releases)

The comments section is full of jaded gamers and it's hilarious. I mean, I agree with you all about the limited release thing being terrible for sure, same with the cash-grab nature of 3D All-Stars but it's still funny to look at, imo.
People need to understand that not everybody has had the chance to play all 3 of these games and they might not have devices to emulate the games and 3D all stars might be the only way they can play these games
@@ThatGuyLegend That's exactly why lots of people are upset with Nintendo: they know they have control over how ordinary people get to experience their game. Instead of providing a reasonable product they nickel and dime you with bare-minimum effort and underhanded business practices.

Because if I don't buy it now, Nintendo will literally take away my ability to purchase it anywhere else.
Nintendo should use the money they spent on this ad and the time they spent destroying the competitive scene of every one of their games into making and improving their latest games.

They got to have Mario Galaxy 2 in 3D All-Stars on the Switch as a DLC pack at some point, but I’m not sure when it will be released.

Why would Nintendo need to pay people to say good things about good games? The only reasons people don't like 3d all stars is because its limited time, cost 60 dollars, and doesnt have galaxy 2. So yeah pretty doodoo package but the games were still some of the best to ever exist
Why I Play: I wanted to experience the 3 3D Retro games of Mario and I never got the chance to play them, because I was young and had a little experience from the past
