We're finally getting what we actually pictured in our heads years ago when they announced Minecraft Story Mode.

Upon first hearing about this, i thought "oh god are they gonna start milking Minecraft games" but at this point if they are all as amazing as this one and dungeons look, I'm wholly supportive

Ironically, this didn't have to be minecraft-themed, it's a really cool concept by itself.

This is actually cool looking. Despite me possibly not playing it, I'm very excited about the idea that some of the mobs or mechanics might be pushed to Vanilla as well. Or possibly via mods.

@@sharkgam3z592 Nope, Pillagers originated from Dungeons (I remember it from the Minecraft Channel's particular Secret of Minecraft/How Minecraft is made episode, or just search the wiki if you want)
And MCDungeons has been on the works longer than the first 1.14 announcement.
Actually so hyped for this! I've had a lot of fun with dungeons, so I hope this one lives up to the expectations as well

@@JACpotatos The blue circle when the player rounded up mobs, the use of "strategy" to describle itself, the fact that the player left almost all the fighting up to them without doing much. Yeah no, Pikmin isnt a bad comparison except in reference to the art style, which is obviously the only thing you looked at. Hush child.

I think it’d be pretty cool if mobs that lost the mob vote (ei copper gollum) were incorporated in this game. Or they could use this game as sort of a testing ground for regular Minecraft
0:40 0:48 and 0:52 seem to be what I think is a reference to old pocket edition Minecraft nether core structures that spawned the nether back when the portals weren’t added. I think if so this is good lore since it makes sense in old times the portal was used to travel but the nether cores were used to spread corruption

If they make a movie that looks like this I would go to theaters and watch it. I haven't been to the movies since the 2nd Fatastic Beasts. They could even include this as the trailer or intro and I wouldn't mind watching it again

This looks closer to something like an RTS or MOBA, like Starcraft or Smite. Though it looks like it could be a mix.

its a strategy game, think civilization except you are on the map and so you cant give commands to your far away town
The concept of all mobs, good and bad, joining forces to fight a common enemy is a very good concept. Still I’m very excited to play this game
