If To the Moon was a roller coaster of emotion, then Finding Paradise is the Log Ride of emotion; peaceful, serene, beautiful, and then it hits you like a ton of bricks at the end.

Greatest stories in games I would say but Finding Paradise tops even Too The Moon for me.
I have only three words for people encountering this for the first time:

This game was... wow. Just a masterpiece like to the moon. A whole story life in a rpg style graphics. I'll for sure buy again this game even tho i have the pc version. For everyone that never saw this game: PLAY IT.

I'm excited for "The Imposter Factory." It's the third game in the "To The Moon" series and was scheduled for end of December but got delayed.
So theres 3 games I need to play?
@@SpikeTheWolf No. There are only two main games for now. Both can be enjoyed as standalone experience without playing the other. But if you do, you will get an interesting backstory.

@@SpikeTheWolf To the Moon is on PC/mobile and since January 2020 on Switch, Finding Paradise is on PC since December 2017 and will come in Spring 2021 to Switch. The third game Imposter Factory is planed for release in early 2021 on PC. I think it will take some time to get the third game on Switch. Keep in mind that Freebird Games and the developer which ported the other games on switch are small indie studios with limited resources. To the moon and Finding Paradise are remade for Switch for controller input and have a „cleaner“ art style.

Played this on PC when it came out a few years ago. It's a very touching experience like To the Moon. I think I liked it even a little bit more. I recommend playing also "A Bird Story", which explains the background of the main character and it will make you appreciate even more this little gem.

To the moon is in my top 10 games of the last decade so you should definitely check it out. And bring a tissue box with you because the feels are strong with this franchise.
To the moon has themost beautiful story
Play them ASAP. No Triple A title will tell as good of a story. You can finish both games in just a handful of hours each. Then you can wait a couple months with the rest of us for Imposter Factory (To The Moon 3).
If you do play in sequence, do "To The Moon", then "A Bird Story" (~1 hour long), and then "Finding Paradise". "A Bird Story" isn't required, but it adds a little more to the universe. They are all absolutely beautiful games.
For those who don't know: This is the sequel to "To the moon". The first game have such a fantastic story, it's probably the best story since the end of the ps1 era. The music, the art and the story gives such an immersive experience, it is an instant classic. Chrono trigger made such an immersive experience with the same strengths, that's why everyone who hasn't played To the moon yet should give it a try. It's a relative short game and doesn't require any skill, but the story is so strong it overcomes all weaknesses the game has.

It's not quite as gut-wrenching as TtM imo, but it's still really sad.
Some people like it more and some think the first one is still better. The truth is Finding Paradise has the whole different theme to think and cry about. If you ever felt something the second patient from FP did, you'll know what I'm talking about... Still, it's the best series ever. Looking forward to try Impostor Factory.

Neat. Wish A Bird Story got a Switch Port (let alone the Miniepisodes)
It's both endearing and saddening to see people get excited for a game that's been out for years and is getting a port.
It’s been //years// but the music at the end of the trailer has me crying all over again. I just got a switch and can’t wait to play this and the sequel whenever that releases.

There is a bit of a prologue to Finding Paradise called “Bird Story.” You can enjoy it without playing Bird Story, but Bird Story covers Colin’s childhood in a bit more depth and allows you to understand him better as a character. I don’t know if it is/will be available on Switch though.

It is free to play on their website. Thanks for spreading the word. If anyone wants to get the absolute best experience out of this game it is imperative to play A Bird's Story first.
@@gamersinger5118 Pretty sure it isn’t free though, the free Freebird Games are "The Mirror Lied", "Do You Remember my Lullaby", the available part of "Quintessence" and the demo of "Lyra’s Melody" (the last one is hardest to find but it exists)

Does anyone if the prologue to this game called "a bird story" is going to be packed together with finding Paradise? Being a fan of this developers I must say that in order to feel closer to the main character in finding Paradise you have to know what happened in his childhood because everything starts from there and knowing his past everything that happens at the end of finding Paradise makes so much sense and makes a bigger impact on the mind of the players.

I read the comments about this game, and the prequel "To the moon" so I bought it.....

Finding Paradise is a beautiful game, just like the previous game To the Moon! Powerful moving story. Prepare a few boxes of tissues. Highly recommend

@@SpikeTheWolf Basically, the premise of the story is that you're a part of a company that grants people's dying wishes. You go into their memories, exploring their lives, and try to change things before their time runs out.
You should probably play To the Moon before Finding Paradise, but they are each self contained games that you can understand and enjoy without necessarily needing the other.

Everyone should experience Finding Paradise’s story at least once. It has a universal message that is very simple yet so beautiful, powerful and thought-provoking. It’s really something.

@@Cuprite1024 Search for Cryaotic if you're still curious. I am not update with the recent events (apparently he is supposed to have groomed teenagers and has mental issues?) but his style of Let's Play was really nice. Mostly silent gameplay and the occational comment with his deep voice.
Also i want to say that even with all that was going on i still think the best way to experience a Corpse Party Let's Play is by watching his playtrough.

Can’t wait till the 3rd part for Dr.Watts to reveal whatever crazy alternate universe reality that he’s working with some other unknown organization to create. It’s a shame because he such a cool character but we know that he’s working behind the scenes to form some sort of blended reality between what’s real and what’s in these cognitions filled with my Momentos. It’s been a while since I’ve gone to the whole of this and it’s been even longer since I’ve went through too the Moon.
My theory is that Watts created the machine for himself because he is dying and he wants to accomplish something more grand than memory altering.
Perhaps it's like you say an alternate reality or something for his mind to live on in after his body gives out.

A great game. Check out his series of games, starting with To The Moon. I think the latest one Imposter Factory is on Steam so far. It was also great. I love these games so much and wish they were more recognized.

I can’t wait. “To the Moon” was fantastic and I only just recently played it for the first time on the Switch in these past few months. I bought it almost as soon as it came out and then marathoned it for a week. The fact that the sequel was unavailable for the Switch at the time was disheartening, but this is such incredible, wonderful news! I’ve heard so much praise for “Finding Paradise” and all of includes crying your eyes out, far more than the first game does to you. The writing, the art, all the rewards for your curiosity...oh man.

@@aaronyandell2929 it's $10 on Steam but often goes on sale. That said the Switch version has added content. It's nothing too major though.

Try to play To The Moon as well. The games are self-contained but I think that is good to play both because there is an overarching story that seems is gonna be pretty important for the third chapter (Impostor Factory). There's also a little short game called "A Bird Story" on Steam that is a prequel to Finding Paradise. Again, self-contained and not necessary for enjoying Finding Paradise but the feels get even stronger when you realize the connection between both games.

I watched Markiplier play To the Moon way back when, before he hit 8 Mil... This game series had me bawling! To the moon was so damn good... It may come off as a random, quirky game in the trailer (And well yeah, the characters are; the comedy is quirky) but the game goes deeper than that... Its one title that had a profound effect on me where when I hear the music I start to tear up...
