I say it's more in-tune to their character rather than being unique. The first game everyone have guns, rifles, bazookas, and grenades which is pretty good. Now it's gonna feel more appropriate.

The first game was really fun, but of all the games i expected to get sequels, this wasnt one on my list. A suprise to be sure, but a welcome one!
I’ve never played the first game but I think I’ll wait till this one comes out because of how much I love galaxy
I believe anyone who played this game really wanted a part 2, this game was great and very challenging especially the bonus maps.
I loved the 1st!!!! I’m definitely surprised but so hyped 😆
i wasn't that interested in the original but one day I saw it was on sale for like 20 dollars so I said why not give it a try
the original game is very underrated, by far one of the most unique and creative switch games imo, especially compared to other Mario games on the switch, like, this game has a bunch of new different characters that we've never seen in a normal Mario game, like the huge Rabbid D.K and the ice golem boss and the crazy looking bowser, not to mention all of the enemy designs, this game gave us a cooler Bowser design than Odyssey... all that game did is put him in a Wedding outfit, kinda lame. The game is also pretty difficult and you have to actually try and be smart about doing stuff, which goes well with it's design and theme. Visually the game looks great, the environments have a bit more originality to them than most Mario games, the cutscenes remind me of the Luigi's Mansion 3 ones, and the story isn't just the same thing every Mario game does, "Bowser kidnapped the princess, go save her" even Odyssey did that again, it's gotten really old at this point.
This sequel looks even better visually than the first one, and it's gonna have Rosalina and Luma, so it's already better than the original!
It's evolving just this time guns and weapons.

God, Mario characters with the "Ubisoft" look with the slightly exaggerated attitude, slightly more realistic proportions and Luigi having a jawline look so good. Mario is so expressive, he looks normal dual wielding laser pistols, it's just so amazing!

I want a mario rpg game with these graphics and a story as good as super paper mario or better, nintendo should really invest in a good story and graphics, but they dont innovate much in their mario games
