@Haruhiro Grimgar that is kinda sad :( I also got desensitized to those hiccups in various games and I always go "well, it is Switch", but on the other hand it should never be like that. If I wanna play with 20 fps I will go play Minecraft on Ultra settings with some mods on my PC. I play on a console to get an optimized experience. Everyone has a different PC, everyone has the same specs inside their console :(

It is a Switch game, performance issues are to be expected.
This was a good presentation. Lots of games announced from many different genres and publishers. There was a little something for everyone. Some much needed updates plus a lot of cool surprises.
Pac-Man World was pretty good so it is good that it has been given new life with this remaster. I have heard nothing but good things about Live A Live. People have been asking for Persona 5 on Switch since it first released so this and 3 and 4 will sell well. I never got the chance to play the Megaman Battle Network games so I will get that collection.
I am just gonna buy the BN collection for PC to show I want a new BN game... Then continue to emulate them. No reason to play those versions compared to ones with savestates and QoL improving cheats.
I think the Megaman Battle Network games are good. Then again, those were the megaman games I grew up on. Imagine my surprise when I found out that Megaman is predominantly an action platforming game rather than the turn based strategy games that these are.

For anyone who has not played Nier: Automata this is truly one of the most underrated games I've ever played. Definitely give it a shot and make sure you do multiple playthroughs cause it changes a lot!

@destinydueler Nier automata is a sequel. the original game just got a remaster called Nier Replicant. if you’ve got a ps4 or xbox, definitely check it out.

Honestly, this was a really good direct. There were some things I wasn't interested in that I know other people are going to like, but that last announcement really hit me. My goodness it's about time, I never thought that we would see any games from this franchise on a Nintendo console.

This was a great Direct! Even though we all hoped to hear about First Party stuff as well this June. This Direct had many great announcements and a good variety of stuff.
This direct genuinely felt like a love letter to the older gamers that's been waiting 5-20 years for these ports of Megaman Battle Network, Persona, Nier, etc.

My first Mini-Direct and it's a good one. Third party games are a must for any console, and there's some good ones here. Was not expecting Return to Monkey Island to come to Switch, but I loved the new trailer.
I'm excited for Live A Live. Pretty glad that there is a demo for three of the chapters.

I have been looking for a coop game for my brother and I, and Blanc is absolutely perfect. My brother loves wolf's and animals, and I love the beautiful stylish graphics. And I am getting more hyped for Sonic Frontiers now, the cyberspace levels look gorgeous.

Took several years but Persona finally came to a Nintendo console.
This gives hope that future Persona titles will be coming to all platforms rather than staying PS exclusive

Despite the general air of hatred I'm feeling from the crowd reception of Sonic Frontiers (my opinion rn is "step in the right direction", maybe just not quite there yet.), I'm equally pleased to see more variety in the cyberspace levels and music (finally something with energy) and shocked that these things weren't revealed in the Sonic focused event a couple weeks ago.
You'd think they would show more things Sonic fans want to see in the event dedicated to him, but I guess I'm glad all the same. Even if the game is a flop (which I honestly can't see it doing any worse than Forces at least), there's at least a pretty solid chance now that it has some good tunes to add to the playlists.

As much as I'd love the Megaman Battle Network games to be remade with modern, more detailed sprites and a fixed aspect ratio, getting a whole collection is pretty awesome.

@Falumil Still that trailer took forever for nothing new. Monster Hunter is you go out and mindlessly kill big monsters with friends or randoms. Not like anything that big is happening to deserve a 4 minute trailer. It still doesn't have features from World since the Switch can't handle them, and Capcom still hasn't hired a competent writer for the series.
All you need to hype MH fans up is like a textbox on screen for 30 seconds that says "New monsters are being added __/__/__."

Wow I'm definitely picking up alot of these games! Nier Automata looks amazing been in love with the Nier games and the stories and music are amazing Pacman & Blanc will be on my list to pick up. I'm really excited for Sonic frontiers too! It looks really good and I'm having high hopes for Hogwarts Legacy on switch hopefully it performs well.

Dragon quest treasure looks like an odd open world monsters spinoff, pretty excited. Seems like they took the monster collecting to the next level by making the whole game about collecting stuff like treasure which also gives you things to aim at in the world

I'm only interesting is the monster Hunter rise DLC and the Sonic frontier and Mario and rabbits and persona 5 Royal and the other two persona games but I already have persona Royal on the PlayStation 4 and persona strikers but it's only PS Plus
Finally a really good nintendo direct... So many great games coming out... Happy to finally see persona on switch.. Sad it took them so long
Wow there's so much coming out that I'm curious about! Even the new Rabbids & Mario has me interested because of the freedom of movement/ Bowser thing! Then the Liliput thing looks like it uses the art from War of the Visions or something similar to Bravely Default, and I like the 2D platforming with monsters vibe. Dragon Quest Jokers... er Treasure, has me intrigued because of the movement and of course a chance to run all slimes and slimeknights haha. Then of course P5R, P4G, and P3P. I have each on a different console, but to have them altogether is quite convenient. Then of course Nier: Automata coming to Switch just makes me so happy. I loved the music of Nier: Replicant when my bro used to play it, but never got to play Automata. Now I can!
Many of these games caught me eye. I think this partner showcase was pretty good.
These announcements are all so great. I can’t wait to play P5R again on the go and finally get to try Nier and Megaman Battle Network. And I’ve been dreading to save PAC-Man’s family on Pac-Man world since I lost my ps1, finally I get to save them.
The ones I'm excited for are Mario+Rabbids, Sonic Frontiers, and Portal! Definitely the best parts of this mini direct. Pac-Man World and Blanc looked good too!
Dont know why you would mention sonic in a nintendo direct. Everyone is just gonna point out how not good the sonic game is while all the other stuff is perfect and ten out of ten.
@Javyon If you have any objective proof of any of this then thatd be nice. Otherwise its simply subjective which means it can be dismissed as "its just not for you". Especially when you only saw one island which that alone ALMOST makes everything you said pointless.

For a mini I’m ngl it was good. Usually Nintendo does full blown directs not too long after a mini showcase. Trust me all the silence in the game industry isn’t for nothing, there has been a drought but big things are coming
I’m super hyped Harvestelle. At first I thought it was just another farm life sim inspired by SDV, but it got better and better as the trailer progressed.
So much to be excited about but I'm definitely most excited for:
Pac-Man World, Nier, Portal, RPG, and Persona!
Edit: Every year the Nintendo Switch exists I find one less reason to play my PS Vita lol.
never thought it was gonna happen. now that they are putting the main persona series on switch, i can only hope the game runs at a stable quality. p5s was good, but it was interesting to play the game while counting the pixels of each sprite :D. cant wait for the release!
I'm glad they showed more footage of Sonic Frontiers. The fact that the open world is more of an Overworld for various "dungeons" is really welcome, and the combat looks way better than previous gameplay footage.

NieR: Automata coming to the Nintendo Switch was easily the most exciting announcement for me. 2B was my #1 pick for smash bros, so they better have added her game to the eshop at least lol can't wait
Overall, a pretty decent showing, can't find a damned Malzeno amiibo to save my life, that Megaman Battle-Network Collection is insane, which hey Capcom, you guys hopefully making more new Megaman I hope.
Blanc looks super adorable. Gives me Ori and the Blind Forest vibes with the cute friendship between the fawn and wolf ^^
Also, if Pac--Man World is getting a remake, then hopefully that means Pac-Man World 2 will be remade. My favorites of the bunch.

The Pacman World games are severely underated, glad to see a remake is in the works!

The two games listed here that stuck out to me the most (& by that i mean the two i will for sure be buying eventually) are:
The new Monkey Island game as the monkey island franchise is something i used to love as a kid and never thought it would ever get a new title. Until now that is. Now once the day this game launches i can for sure buy it and want to like CRAZY.
The other game i really enjoyed seeing here is the new Sonic Frontier game. I have not played a whole lot of Sonic games lately but OMG that game looks soooooooooooooooooo cooooooooooooooooooooooool. I will have to add this to my list of future games to buy later on down the road as well.
That was pretty fun to watch! I kind of want to try out Monster Hunter now, and Blanc was adorable!

I hope this remake does well, because it might possibly lead to the creation of Pac-Man World 4, just like how Crash Bandicoot gets a 4th game after so many years. This remake is going to be a whole new era for the Pac-Man World series!!

Sonic Frontiers looks incredible. Also kind of interested in the Disney game, I’ve played enough Kingdom Hearts to know never judge a book by its cover!! Wish we’d get more Zelda news. That or a Silksong release date!!
When nintendo fans see grass: Its BOTW. Anyways Sonic frontiers could win game of the year and Nintendo fans will still say its like 06. Once you realize this, you learn not to listen to them. I hope yall can realize this too because ever since i learned to do that, lifes been much easier.

@RockManLP_Radio How is this empty and some playtesters says it's good game and no empty? And haven't you heard that there's multiple island and action stages? It's a good idea.
