Battle League is definitely more detailed in techniques compared to Super and Charged.

I really miss the white charged ball and the slow-mo after passing it and trying to shot it.

@@simplyvryy6398 i really like most the techniques but there are some bad things that happened i really don’t like, like the how small the field is or how cool the old goalie is and having no field hazards or the special characters items. (am sorry for being negative but these things i really like and want to see them back here)
There's so many techniques to learn in this game, it's kind of hard to remember them all once you start playing 😅

@@Amexy-mr6lw Bro I played for 2 hours for the first time today and got filted HARD. Best I could pull off was a draw, other matches I would get 0-5'd or 0-7'd lmao
The art style on this is just superb. The still drawings are awesome and the character models are so expressive. Looking forward to the game (and some clarity on the DLC timeline for additional characters.)
The animations and gameplay in Battle League are so smooth and amazing at the same time.
From the demo I played this one definitely more technical in terms of controls. A steeper learning curve for sure compared to the previous games where you can pick up and play in no time. But I'll still give it a shot to get fully invested in it. Love the artstyle of the game though.
When it said "Move the Goalie" I got excited and thought you could actually control your goalie LOL. Regardless, super hyped for the game. Long time fan, always love seeing the series evolve... and this game will be no exception. Can't wait for Friday!

Charged players: *ignore every tactics ans just teleport into the goal*

I believe they’re releasing free DLC so most likely more characters will be coming. Does sucks there’s very few characters right away

I know they will add more characters as free DLC, I just hope they do it soon, before people start losing interest on this game. As fun as it is, having only 10 characters makes it less replayable than it could be

I hope it's possible for an easy mode or something. I like the older games for the pick-up and play. This game seems to be very complex to actually be good without knowing the precise controls beforehand

I like everything I see so far. I already ordered as well and frankly, Nintendo Games are the only ones I still preorder.
From what I've seen, the goalie in this game seems to be very weak (or inconsistent). You just need to shoot from any spot, even with bad shooting stats, and the ball often goes in because boom boom is so bad. Why playing tactical when you can play like a braindead and just shoot and score? Even if the shot isn't even charged...
Please fix this
I actually had problems getting the ball past Boom Boom. Different for everyone I guess.
Yeah boom boom is quite stupid. I made plenty of plays in tutorial that literally always works.
And of course the CPUs Boom Boom is magnet gloves. Meanwhile my goalie can't even save the lightest shot from a random cpu kick off with a shot.
@@SuperCJK333 no literally my goalie is braindead and ppl w horrible shooting stats can make an uncharged shot easily

Now I'm wondering. Are aerial shots still a thing? I remember being able to make lobbed passes and immediately shoot in charged, and it always looked really cool with the slowdown effect.
Yes they are. Make a lobbed pass and then shoot before you receive it in midair. You can also perform a perfect shot while being in midair.

can someone explain what dashing with the ball does for you? I remember during the demo that everytime I tried to use it to help me out ended up always hurting me.

You kick the ball father and you run, I think this is useful if you are a bit ahead of your opponent and left them behind
@@marvinbido4073 I see. So a pretty niche use as not often are you very far from enemies from my exp.
Perhaps tho it will be very useful if you knock them all out with like a bomb or shell then run to score

Can you add mappable buttons please? I keep pressing A to pass and B to shoot. My muscle memory is messed up because that’s how it was in Charged
You can remap buttons in the switch menu

Currently anticipating for a new Mario Baseball game.
In all the matches I've played, no one uses the dash, idk why, its pretty useful
I use it but it never works out in my favor, I always use it too late and get tackled💀
In the match I played my partner would never pass the ball and just let everyone tackle him.
Imo it's more useful while being in the defense than being in the offensive.
I just forget to lol

The Idea here is not to "remember everything" guys, but indeed remember the basics and build a solid base upon it.

@@indigo7898 Mashing tackle will detriment your speed, and charged tackles have endlag if you miss. Not only that but tackling an opponent who doesn't have the ball will be considered a foul and the game will give the enemy team an item for them to use. If you keep doing this, the game will throw in an Invincibility Star for the opponents to use, so the game means it when they say "be careful of your tackles."
True, but it makes this game more serious and less of a party game. If it is serious, how good will it be online? If I go to my friend's house to play and he is less experienced, will he have a chance? I think this game did a little too much

This game is hard to learn but so much fun even when I rage.
Can't believe this game is coming out tomorrow on my bday. I played the first two games. Super Mario Strikers on GameCube with my best friend which was super fun and then Mario Strikers Charged on the Wii with other people. Second game on Wii was more competitive based with trick shots, chip shots, dekes and mega strikes. 'Battle League is a pure revival of the franchise and it's definitely going to resemble more of the first game but much better. Question is if you can do trick shots like you did in Charged? Charged had a competitive scene back then and I knew players that played this seriously with clans, as well as tournaments.
Battle League added the clubs online feature which will make the game more competitive than Charged was with online play. Maybe the players I know that played Charged will come back and play Battle League competitive if they have a Switch. The new gameplay features in Battle League are great and back to 2 mega strike goals, rather than 6. Would have been cool if they kept trick shots which was a major competitive part of the last game in Charged. But I personally liked Strikers GameCube more so I would like Battle League a lot more. Too bad I don't have a Switch lol. I'm a PlayStation fan. Can't wait to see the whole review of this game and see people play this online with streaming, which I will watch.. What you guys think?

Hm veary intresting alot of things are in this see this is what we needed a few weeks ago alot of control can go into the ball and shots to set up plays hm I do see how a crazy field could hamper that but to master it would be fun to throw over obsticals to score, also they put the American spin on scocors football name throwing the ball that looks crazy, so no new charaters wich is a shame would be a excellent time to do it maybe show off their strike but at least we got rosalinas strike I see a call back to Mario kart 7 rosalinas ice world track a cool concept (pun not intended but suits it) but I do see a similarity with daisys charged crystal strike wich is wieard I would expect rosalina to use star power and daisy to have that crystal effect veary intresting choice, but ya the game looks cool I'm a bit more excited now that theirs a understanding on what's going on and kinda see why the stages are kinda bland but for a dificulty setting hazards would make it way better once ya learn the controls it seams like a cool game still yet to see charater specific stuff but still looks awesome can't wait to play it on launch day.

I hope that the perfect moves don't completely undermine stats. They sound a bit overtuned.

That… that is a very good question. Maybe tackle the receiver before it connects?

By intercepting, they would mean just simply running into the ball or tackling the ball itself, but you can prevent it by tackling the person who is going to receive the ball instead. CPUs in the demo did it to me.
And also it would be a little difficult to chain the passes infinitely
