@@ultimatebreak827 The 2 games are pretty different. Keep in mind the N64 game is only about 3 hours long the first time through. The new game is much longer and has more content. Like I said, the n64 game is great to unwind with. Catchy Music and satisfying arcade style gameplay.
Now we got both Pokemon Snap games on one system, this is definitely amazing

I just realized that thanks to this, every single game from the “Coming Soon” section of the N64 Online promos is now out. That means come July, unless there’s a new trailer, the next games and beyond will be a complete mystery.

Trying to find every single Pokémon as a child without the internet back in the day was a task 😂 thinking back, I’m pretty sure I was missing arcanine for the longest time because I didn’t know there was anything behind the charmeleon/Charizard spot. New Pokémon snap is a lot of fun too! I’m still no where close to finished 100%

The best/worst thing once we got our hands on the internet was sifting through all the fake cheats to find the real ones! I'm still salty about whoever wrote that you can get Charmander in Smash Bros 64 by beating Classic mode 7 times on hard with each character.......

For a "hey look new game for NSO" trailer, this one added some actual charm to it. That was neat.

One of my fondest memories was playing this game in the summer of '99 and running the few blocks to our local Blockbuster to print our latest shots 😭

This was one of my favorite N64 games to play as a kid. I remember the first time I ever saw Pokémon Snap and got to play it. It was at the local Blockbuster where they had the special themed Pokémon Snap kiosk that you could play the game and print photos off of. The game was fun to play and gave me a appreciation for photography. Never owned the game as a kid, but ended up with a copy years later.
You don't have to make up a whole story to defend this mid game.

@@sixsam154 Pokémon Snap was the first truly 3D Pokémon game, meaning it helped pave the way for the ones you play today. Us 90s kids were amazed by it, and it still holds a special place in my heart.

Hearing that album music again puts me in the feels! I loved this game growing up and I'm so glad to see both the original return and get a brand new entry.
I loved this game as a kid! I felt so immersed in the world of Pokémon while playing it, which is something I have always wanted. I haven't played the new Snap for Switch yet, but maybe after another run through the old one I'll try the new one out.

I have a fond memory acquiring this game as a kid. It involved the game being won from a claw machine in a bowling alley.
The "Back to the Lab" text is back! That's how I remember it playing as a kid. Every ROM I've played since has just had a squiggly line there instead
I remember playing this game for days on end when I was home sick after having my tonsils removed. I loved finding all the secret paths.
One of the most relaxing and best games ever made.
Underrated game! Only played it once but had a blast. Can’t wait for this to come to switch!

This was one of the first video games my parents ever got me as a kid, I’m super excited to replay it again!
I remember me, my brother, and my sister had only one Pokémon left to get and we could not for the life of us figure out where we’d missed one. We played through the game over and over and over again ,. Turned out we missed Muk in the cave level. Pretty sure you have to whack some grimmers to make them evolve .. we were ecstatic when we figured it out

I can imagine how amazing this was for people who played as a kid. The Pokemon!!! From the game!!! AND YOU'RE IN THEIR WORLD! And the amazing 3D graphics!
It.....kind of was to be honest. When the game was new I tried it out at a Funcoland (RIP), skeptical of it being much good, and wound up picking it up. It was cool to see them off the Game boy and into the 64 bit world. Great memories.
Now that we know when Pokémon Snap is coming, the next question is, what’s gonna be in the 2nd wave of N64 Games???

Likely the rest of the first party games for the N64 that are not there yet, which are not a lot of them, like 1080 Snowboarding, Wave Race , Donkey Kong 64 or Smash Bros, maybe more Rare games too.
It's going to be fun trying to remember all of the secrets in the game to make Mew appear since said secrets are mostly alternate paths that help lead to Mew.

@@sixsam154 no there are pieces of scenery that resemble Pokémon that you have to take pictures of. Two of them are shown in the trailer.
@@flainfan It's been many years since I last played the game but I recall the first level the beach had a Kingler made out of a stone formation near the beginning of it.
This is the game that made me discover my love for Pokémon. The mysterious atmosphere and hidden secrets waiting to be discovered around every corner was fascinating. I hope we get a game soon where we can get into the deeper details about discovering Pokémon. While Legends Arceus kind of went into that a bit, it was nothing more than a glorified tedious checklist. I want to experience being a true Pokémon Researcher/Professor.

The expansion pack just keeps getting better and better, I just sunk 22 hrs into Paper mario beating it for the 6th time. I love that all my favorite childhood games are coming to my favorite console!

The new one is good but there was something so much more with evolving and discovering by taking photos of different scenery than the scanning and leveling up
The music and everything gives me so much nostalgia. This was, like, THE game for me on N64!
Back in the day replaying this at night and throughout the day I would’ve never thought how beloved this game was. It’s crazy how we can just playing it handheld now something I never thought would happen.
I remember some clueless writer gave Pokemon Snap this description for a department store catalog in 1999: "Take photos with Pokemon and all his friends!"

This game really is the first of its kind. It's amazing how they can make a game about photography as fun and exciting as the series of games it came from. This game will always have a place in my heart. A true childhood staple.

Probably the Camera Toy Con. I think the reason why it didn’t support the New Pokémon Snap is because the IR sensor is out and it didn’t do much.
The final announced N64 game for Nintendo Switch Online. I hope more will be announced. I hope for Banjo-Tooie, Donkey Kong 64, Super Smash Bros. 64, Mario Party 1, 2, and 3, and Diddy Kong Racing.

I spent so much time playing this growing up I was able to unlock the cave and apple on one trip to the beach. I doubt I am good at it as I used to be, but I will be having a blast either way
