Finally… I can play a co-op game by myself.
Games that use a Time mechanic always fascinate me.
Check out Timelie on Switch. The demo is really fleshed out, so you'll get a great sense for the game. Puzzle games aren't for me, but it was still charming.

Ahh! I remember seeing this in an indie game subreddit a year or so ago. So glad it's finally made the way to Switch. This is giving me BIG 'Rime' vibes. Can't wait to play it
I never played Rime. I heard they made a port for the switch, but also that it had lots of big issues. True?
@@Starlitwarrior - I think I played Rime if its what I think it is. It should be patched because I don't remember having some of the starting issues that were mentioned that I vaguely remember.

@@Starlitwarrior I played it awhile back (2020 I think) and I don't remember having any issues. It was a little confusing at first because there's very little direction (it was one of the first indie games I played and turns out that's not too abnormal lol) but it was a great experience.

This mechanic reminds me so much of Ratchet and Clank, a crack in time, where clank had the power to summon up to 4 clones of himself in the same way

Reminds me of Braid, a brilliant game and the mechanic was done perfectly. This looks like it could be the same if the puzzles are all done with care :D
This reminded me of Myst with an Egyptian theme. Is it a puzzle mystery game? I'm always down for anything with pyramids!
It's really cool and some of the puzzles are really difficult... highly recommend it!
Really cool puzzle game, the time-clone mechanic is really intuitive. It took me around 6 hours to finish, and I enjoyed every minute of it.
The Dev team is also working on a survival game in a similar floating island setting, but grom what the screenshots on Steam show, that one seems to not feature pyramids. Name is Solarpunk, if you want to check it out

This game reminds me of braid, but I think only with reversing time to complete puzzles. Idk about the games story if it will be like braid where it looks like a simple game until when you find some backstory before the events of the game about the father or what's going on in the area the game takes place in

No, you can record what you do for a short amount of time and then are set back and you can then do other stuff while your previous version still does what you did before. Basically co op with yourself

So, the Talos Principle, but only the annoying time travel puzzles, which were the worst part of the Talos Principle. Cool.
I don't know when the Talos Principle introduced time travel, apparently I got to bored and annoyed way before that point, but the time-clone mechanic in hourglass is pretty intuitive, and fun to use.
I also don't see how it is more similar to the Talos Principle than it is to any other puzzle game.

I only briefly played the Talos Principle, and I gotta say that I enjoyed the Hourglass puzzles way more. And I also think it looks prettier, because it's more stylized.
