- I finally got my twin turbo cutlass running. Still gotta get the bugs worked out. Afr is off a bit and still dealing with a fuel leak but it’s running I have a fan wired in and now have Holley controlling the pump for now aswell. Soon I will clean up the wiring and better place things.

I appreciate that alot! Everything started to fall into place once I really dug into it.. the most important thing I learned was not to be so impulsive purchasing certain parts.. let’s just say I spent a lot of unnecessary money that could have went to more important parts lol

@@MRRANDOM1 I gotcha.. I’ve gotta work some bugs out too.. gotta add more piping to my hot side for better wideband reading and get a drive shaft fabbed up so I can start to take small drives and iron everything out

Goodluck with traction. Ive got a twin gt35s on a L33 LS. 10Lbs of boost. Its in my 79 c10 short bed. Ive got M/T 10 wide slicks. Full locker with 3.08 gears. I cant get traction. Smoke the tires even at a half throttle.
Damn. I can only imagine it. I bet it’s a party to drive. I’m lookin into getting the drive shade fabbed up real soon to make my first drives

Thank you.. and get what u can.. motor wise try and get from intake to oil pan complete as possible… and trans if u can… nothing else is salvageable really… to save urself time and energy I’d suggest saving a few bucks for the holley terminator harness and ecu… you’d pretty much be atleast 85ish % ready to go other than ur own labor and other small things of ur choice

@@MansoyHumilde777 yup.. absolutely.. that’s about all u need.. and I’d say just be safe and invest in some quality injectors and fuel pump and u should be golden

Where did you get the turbo kit?
Mainly custom… the intercooler, elbows and forward headers came from eBay. Everything else was fabricated

Did you select the right map sensor when you did you base tune/setup? I was having the same issue with mine
Yes I believe so.. I’m running the stock gm map that came with the stock manifold and what not. Which I believe to be the GM 1 bar. But I also must add more piping to the hot side. I’m sure a bit of the ambient air is messing with the wideband a little
@@nitomeanboyGBODY I have a video on my page about it. I think with running turbos you want a 2 or 3 bar if your shooting for higher power/twin turbo. I don't think the stock gm one is an option on the holley terminator.
@@Dashsgarage I’m gonna check it out. And yes I have a 3 bar and harness adapter for it tucked away. I’m just buttoning everything else up before I swap it out and start making boost

Believe it or not I pieced it together from different vendors from ebay and amazon and some facebook market sellers
@@nitomeanboyGBODY oh okay nice man that’s what’s up, I wanna do the same with my 79 I’m just worried ill get headers too long and the turbos will be too close to my radiator. What headers you got?
@@whitedon6973 it’s an eBay up and forward turbo header.. ppl who wanna bring em back a bit normally just cut it down about a couple inches or so from the flange and re weld it on. It’s not an issue. I cut and re welded the passenger side header down a bit. Could have cut atleast another inch but it’s fine for now
@@nitomeanboyGBODY okokok. I was gonna buy a g body turbo kit but might just get a tig welder and start goin ham. I’m a welder/fabricator so it’s not a problem to do it I was just hoping to save time and effort

They’re from eBay.. got em from a seller on marketplace that went a different route

It’s in one of the previous videos before this one. I can’t remember exactly which one.. I’ll try n get it for u

No I have it on a terminator x max

@@Fahrenheit_Motorsports no problem at all.. yes the Holley has a very wide range of controllability over the stock ecu.
Where did you get your turbo kit
I put it together myself.. I don’t really like to do kits. But I’ve heard good things about on3 kits. And vs racing has decent options too
What type of ecu? Why do you have that flex fuel senor?
Holley terminator… and the flex sensor is for the computer to use and reference it to compensate timing as needed for ethanol content in the fuel.. very important when running e85 to any extent

@@ericperry4934 can’t remember the part number but it’s a gm sensor. I payed maybe 50 bucks if I remember correctly. From rock auto.. but u can get em just about anywhere

They’re just basic eBay up and forwards. They’re not bad, just keep coil and wire location in mind. I have to move my upward about an inch to make sure they don’t get burnt

@@Dodgevair I understand. I can tell u that that they are pretty tight to the engine which is good for space.. only thing I can think of being even tighter and makes sense is stock truck manifolds flipped
