I will say, having seen Prof live (in Portland) no one commands a show like him! EVERYONE was going crazy, in a good way. Everyone singing along, sweating, so much love. There was a little kid on his dad's shoulders the entire show, knew every word. We all did. The most hyped crowd I've ever seen, the most happy! The loudest, most beautiful crowd I've ever seen. I love hip hop but I'm known a a punk guy. Prof kills it live. A form of art, and art is as painful as it is beautiful. Go see this guy live if you get the chance. You won't regret it. He has the same birthday as me, we even named a cat after him. He will continue to change the world. By the way Prof, we love Louisiana!!! Keep killing it. So much respect. I can’t believe I didn’t see this before.
I’ve been to multiple Prof shows, and it’s literally has some of the craziest energy I’ve ever been around.
I’ve been to any type of show-rap, death metal, punk house shows, r&b, small shows, arena shows, whatever. But, Prof kills the whole building when he comes on and it becomes goddamn contagious.
It’s an insane mix of people, you have hip-hop heads, gross metal dudes with their battle vests, hot chicks, douche bags, and normal folks, and they all go crazy together.
I just want to add, the last Prof show I went to, was so packed the lady in front of my wife got bumped into, she turns around and gets in my wife’s face, then gets her boyfriend in my wife’s face with her. I fire back at both of them, and next thing I know, I’ve got three dudes all in my face and I was ready for that shit. I’m not even the type to fight, but the energy was high.
Next thing we know some guy in a bathrobe comes up to us and calms the situation down, and we ended up hugging it out.
But, not more than 10 minutes later I had to step in and grab a guy by the fist mid-punch to keep him from beating the shit out of another guy.
Again, I’ve been to so many shows, but never have I almost got in a fight, and broke one up during one set.
This dude should be massive right now, but because of his persistence, and his ability to mesh with his fan base, he’s going to be supported for the rest of his life.
