That Record ok so this song about how his past has made him who he is but also how everyone calls him a monster because of it, and every time someone calls him a monster it makes him a little more like one. The screaming is him finally snapping at releasing raw fucking emotion and expressing the pain he feels.
His daughter, Willow, is like his anchor to reality. She always brings him back from the edge.

You need to check out “Drugs”, “Losing My Life” and “Losing My Mind” by Falling In Reverse, they are the singles before “Popular Monster” they are great songs with great bars and damn good visuals, they all tie together to tell a story, Ronnie Radke the lead singer is a bad dude. He’s figured out how to fuse like Post Hardcore rock with rap elements.

I love that this song expresses so many emotions involved in mental health issues. The apathy, fear/panic, catastrophic thinking, being overwhelmed, despairing, and full of resentment and rage. And the quality of his tone matches the tone of the struggles he's discussing. As someone who has suffered lifelong with depression, anxiety, ptsd, bipolar, ocd, dermatillomania and now social anxiety also, like recognizes like. Dude definitely understands.
