Can we just take a second to appreciate the fact that there isn't a single ad in this entire 10-hour long video??
There is a ad before the video starts
Ye I was listing to a difrent one and a ad wanted to wake me up in the middle of the night
PREACH
There is.
*So that was a fucking lie*
I remember lying in bed as a child watching lights run across the ceiling as the cars drive by. It was calming in a way.
i too was the same. cars don't go by as much now, for some reason, but when i see the lights, i feel sleepier by the second. :)
Ikr
Same but only at my grandparents house
Same here. I used to live in New York City up until I was 8, and hearing cars outside driving by was super comforting in a way. Also being in a taxi at night and just looking out the window at the illuminated buildings, bright red lights from cars, each window shining bright, there’s nothing like it.
Yes, it's so calming. I can't explain why, lol
I think this could help people who spend a lot of time at home by theirselves. I personally get creeped out sometimes being at home by myself, so hearing activity like this can calm that type of anxiety.
You make a good point. Silence is creepy
But don’t play it too loud. You won’t hear them breaking in 🤣🤣
Like right now lol
@@visionist7 Strangely I'm so in love with the aura of spooky silence, feels like a loner idling in a deserted island... 🎃
@@armanidavincci 😂😂
I'm surprised that traffic noise actually is quite comforting and calming. My roommate thinks I'm crazy. It's kind of sad but it reminds me that there are other people out and about.
Cars driving bye always helps me sleep
I live far from highways so I can't hear traffic when I'm sleeping. Hearing this reminds me that I'm not the only one awake.
Yeah
i like the feeling that i'm not alone
Dude even the artillery and machine guns can be and that’s mind boggling.
i feel like this is one of those sounds not many people get why it’s relaxing, but it just is. there’s something oddly comforting about the sounds of distant traffic at night. the world seems less dead when you know there’s always people going places.
yeah i feel not alone when i hear it
Probably reminds you of being in the car with parents and falling asleep on the way back from somewhere and you were happy to be going home finally, past your bedtime
Fr
Totally true
I'm from the city and now live in a village. Its very quiet in a village and this helps me fall asleep. Tysm
Thank you for watching!
wow i found one of my old alt accounts. how ironic
@X indeed i do
@@SempieXD wait, how is it ironic?
@@fantastic_fern9135 i honestly dont remember. i made that comment 6 months ago
Why tf do people dislike this stuff like did mf say: these cars aren’t cars enough
“the buildings are to short”
People always have to have opinions about things that they don’t have any merit with
@destiny Lol, sleeping in a "Fast and Furious" situation is hilariously comical.
Some a** car guys sleeping with a constant low rpm V8 engine sound perhaps.
they dont want it in their feed
With most people social-distancing or quarantined the relative quiet in the city at night has been really eerie, & the lack of either sustained noise or total silence has made it really hard to dose off. I've only been listening to this for like 30 seconds but I'm already feeling so much more relaxed. Thank you so much for this.
meditation can help too
I could never relate to a comment more- also if you ever listen to it again remember around 10:30 or so there’s a honk, that scared me to death 😅
@@PeteyParka Thank you, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man-- from my city to yours :)
Traffic has finally resumed here at night but it comes and goes.
There's a loud honk in it that scared the crap out me LOL
I remember being little and just watching cars go by and the lights the cars would shine it was calming in such a unique way
This is exactly me!
This video reminds me of when I was little and slept at my grandparents
Same but at my aunts instead
Me too!
Reminds me of being a kid too, our house was a few blocks behind a highway and I miss that white noise at night in the summer when I had my windows open. There was also a park behind my house and you could hear the crack of the bat during baseball games and cheering in the distance.
Funny the stuff you find comforting as you get older, when you barely even noticed it before. Now my house is isolated and way too quiet outside.
yes omg
Same here
10:31 I love this but holy crap that scared me lol
Georgiafaielo 입니다 :D shit
Also 9:50:12
And I'm pretty sure that would wake up a lot of people, "for sleep" my ass
@@ucfknight239 The sudden beeps should be taken out for a sleep track.

You know your sleep is gonna be good when you're falling asleep to the sound of a busy street or cars driving.
I’ve been having a hard time sleeping through the night since i moved cities, and every time i look up ‘traffic ambient sounds’ i get rush hour in the city, horns honking, ew.
This is what my bedroom window sounded like back home. Thanks so much.
You're very welcome!
I live on a farm now 🙁🙁
I've seen that video... Eeeww!!
This time I said, cars driving ..🤷
I'm in love now with this sound...
❤️💥🙂💯
Last time my girlfriend and I walked the bridge I kept saying how we should set up a camera and microphone pretty much exactly how you did. Perfect! Nice long loop, amazing sound. Thank you so much for this!
You're welcome!
@@NomadicAmbience do u have a shorter version of this?
I was in T.T. land and a fellow I follow was walking... Showing us the sites and when he stopped here and let us watch n listen...
I said, "this would be a wonderful ASMR video"...So many agreed with me ..tysvm ❤️❤️ 💥💥
That was over half a yr ago 😳😳
What bridge is this?
it's weird but somehow the sound of cars helps me to fall asleep better, glad to know there's people out there who feels the same :)
When I was younger I used to stay with my older brother in his apartment in the city. The sounds of the traffic and people on the street below were so different than what I was used to, but relaxing in a way. He passed away last year and even though I was well past the age of sleepovers this brings me a bit a of comfort now that he's gone.
Thank you so much for making this and the other ones like it.
Omg this gives me such road trip vibes! thank you so much, this is amazing!
Thank you for watching!
I never thought I would miss the sound of traffic. It’s always so quiet now, even in early evening. I like train sounds too. Very relaxing.
This video really helps me out for sleeping, when I was younger, I lived right next to a main road so all I would hear is cars driving by, I don’t know why, but even then it relaxed me so much and it still has the same affect on me now, great video!
Whenever I go somewhere there is always honking and screeching tires all the time. But this helps me relax. Thank you so much!
I live in the country so I don’t hear this but once a year we go to MT and go through the night. This reminds me of what it sounds like on the interstate while we drive. Love it 😊
Lol....why would there be a thumbs down 😂 the video does EXACTLY what the title says. I thank you for this...it's GREAT 😍🙏🏾
Thank you so much! :D
They probably live near traffic like me, but I do like the video
Congrats on not getting your microphone stolen and somehow set it up where you did
I’ve lived next to a busy road my whole life, but the current pandemic means there’s barely any cars on the road at night. The silence is super unsettling for me so this helps a LOT :)
As someone who moved from a big city to a small town this is super helpful for falling asleep.👍
We live in a woodsy rural area. Homes are spread out pretty far but you can still see them. There is almost no noise save for a cattle trailer rattling as it goes past on the nearest road. My mother-in-law who lives in the downtown area of a big city was terrified. We didn't have ambulance and police sirens nor gunshots sounds to remind her that she wasn't totally alone, and worse that the local chainsaw murderer would be paying us a visit. She was very uncomfortable staying with us. Yet when we visit her real murders are taking place just outside her building and the sirens blare all night long. It is almost impossible to sleep for us, but she is soothed by the noise of the city and crime taking place. Go figure.
My baby falls asleep with this sound. So helpful 😂
Same here! I live by a street that’s usually busy during rush hour. For some odd reason, my son has really come to love this sound
I used these when my granddaughter came home with her parents... She is now 6.!
💥❤️😳🥰
Man, this sounds like waves
Can I get city traffic ambience from 1970's.I love the horn sound and rough engine grumble.
Mageshwaran R B no lol??? He can’t travel back in time.
It's probably very difficult to come by
It maybe hard to do but excellent question. ... Take a microphone and use it at a car show/ride of those awesome old cars...
Moving from the city to the countryside where you don't hear cars pass 8pm.
This video help with my sleep ❤
When I lived in the city as a kid I always had my window open at night to see and hear the cars drive by and it’s so calming
This plus any Spotify soft piano playlist is really helpful for me while studying.
You guys actually fall asleep to this? This is just my life lmao
yeah, i moves from the city into the country so there’s less traffic, and i’m not used to there being such little traffic. ahah
Haifischneik Yes lmao that’s why we fall asleep to it mostly cuz we away from home or we somewhere too quiet😂
Was gehht, ein deutscher gefunden yehh
I wish i had that, it's relaxing and nice to hear
@Sanic Fan hehe bisschen Straße hören dies das ^^
I hope even if it’s just 1 single person that sees this, that they have an amazing day and an even better future!🥰
I’ve been listening to this every night for almost a month, this is amazing!
This reminds me of my childhood. Me and my dad went down to england alot and we would reach hotels very late night. I remember us both being so tired so we would never talk in the way in, we would just head the roadside and all the cars passing. It calmed me so much , and still does. When i cant sleep i put this on, so thankyou ❤
Edit:(I'm from Scotland so we went down alot,as we like to say "down south")
This reminds me of when I was staying in Los Angeles with my aunt every summer when I was little. I've always loved the sounds of cars going in the background, and I don't get that very often since I live in a relatively small town. Thanks for helping me relax and sleep!! ❤🌙
I know it maybe strange but I actually like to open my window and listen to this sound and asking to myself what people do, thinking while driving, it make me fall asleep and when it’s hot weather, there is a little fresh wind who refresh me and it smells good like rain
Oh this is so relaxing......
Loved that @10:45
somethin about boxer engines man
I lived near a highway my entire life and the noise became part of it. I don't even notice it anymore. Due to the nation wide lockdow people are not allowed to travel to other cities, so the highway became very quiet, especially at night. This helped me to relax. Thanks
I’m only watching this to convince myself that moving to a house that will get traffic noise is not as bad as I think it will be.
So, did you make the move lol
I watched this for the entire 10 hours
You must've had a good sleep
Kevin you must be a happy bunny.
I would say you have no life for that.. but.. I'd be wrong if I said I didn't do it.
You're doing it wrong
OMG this video is amazing. I cant believe you actually took the time and effort to do this, and the resolution is in 4K!
i lived in an apartment right next to the 101 that overlooked the hollywood sign and griffith observatory, so this sound means so much to me.
*101 , Nor cal or South Cal?*
This is awesome for winter! I live kinda close to a main road and I love to have my window open and listen to the cars go by! Unfortunately I live north, and it can get to -20 degrees celcius at night and its too cold for that in the winter. But hey! Road noises! Woo!
this really helps in the fall and winter when all i can hear at night is my ears ringing, i cant fall asleep without some type of background noise and the highway is too far away to hear fully so this is nice
Why does this bring nostalgia for some reason
I lived in California until I was 19, my childhood home had a freeway right in the backyard. The only thing separating us from it was a brick wall. This video reminds me of all the nights I'd lay in bed and listen to the cars passing by until I finally fell asleep. Thank you so much for posting.
Bro this is so peaceful because it sounds just like the ocean waves sleep videos on here… never knew cars could sound like nature
I live right off an off ramp from I-75 and I can hear the Interstate Traffic with my window open. It's actually very relaxing.
i slept through the whole thing and autoplay woke me up
edit: thank you for not putting ads, if not the title is clickbait
I don't know anyone else who loves this as much as I do, I'm only 11 years old and I listen to this beautiful sound every single night, it's so relaxing that I litrally fall asleep in sec-.............
I grew up in a wood by a highway and now the sound of cars helps me sleep, thank you for giving me that option at all times
Not only do I love this, but now I want gourmet traffic sounds, live, from different places: PA turnpike, Downtown Buffalo, San Francisco Bay Bridge, etc.
I've never expect that this can make my studying better till I tried
It’s weird my family finds city noise annoying like when we visited Las Vegas and the billboards. I find it relaxing, listening to others live their lives not having to worry about yours...watching the billboards change colors with videos and images popping up. I rlly wanna move to New York when I’m older or maybe Chicago bc ive been there before
Same
depends on the type of noise for me. honking cars, shouting people, and construction sounds really put me on edge. But the sounds of cars driving past and the faint sirens in the distance helps me feel at peace. It’s an interesting dichotomy
If only the Brooklyn Bridge can flow this easily in the late afternoon. Thank you for this dedication.
Nostalgia for the spot I use to hide to smoke as a teen. Takes me back. Makes my imagination fly. Writing to this. So e write to music. I use wind storms, rain storms, and traffic. Absolute immersion
I swear if u can’t sleep listen to this and you will fall asleep in like 15-20 minutes seriously I used to like never sleep now I sleep great because I get enough
Thank you who ever made this I just moved out of the city and it’s very quiet where I am I’m a city girl so thank you I am truly grateful
OMG
one of the most calming feelings was hearing this and dozing off in the backseat while your your parents drove you home.
FR!
i'm from a rural area but i adore the city, thank you for this :)
My parents are divorced and I’d have to go from San Francisco to moss landing every weekend witch is like a 2 hour drive if there’s no traffic and this reminds me off that feeling when your so tiered that even the back seat of a car feels like a cosy bed. The highway is like a lullaby to me
what I love the most about this video, is that it's real! thank you so much, helps me studying
I used to live in a city since I was born. The sound of traffic always put me to sleep, now I’m in the countryside and it’s pretty much dead silent.
So this is nice, it’s makes it easier to drift of to sleep.
Lol okay I'll say I watched a part of this. I live in the city and my cat LOVES watching the heavy traffic at rush hour. She'll sit in the window so excited. At night she waits for cars, they of course aren't as busy as the day. So I just showed her this. She's purring like a fool!! I'm laughing of course. She's a silly little thing that though she's nearly 12, she's so much fun. I hope she lives much longer. I laugh so much at her antics. She loves all who come to visit her too. And I do have neighbors who only come to visit her.
This really helps a lot, when I have a lot of problems I just listen through my bedroom window and it gives a sense of calm lol
for people who are confused, this helps people who live alone and are alone a lot. It helps them fall asleep and help with anxiety
10/10 cured my insomnia (thank you james)
This sound is so comforting plus falling asleep to the window cracked with 60° degree weather is 💯💯💯👌
Love this especially with less commuters during this corona stuff helps put me to sleep 🔥🔥👌🏾👌🏾
this helps me so much when i cant sleep👍
if you like cars - this is simply amazing. I LOVE IT!
The HD quality is making it more better.
Good homeless vibes I really feel like I’m sleeping under a overpass rn and nothing says comfortable like fighting to survive

And If you turn you thermostat down you can almost feel the crippling hypothermia
I've been using this every night for the past couple months, dude I've never slept the full ten hours. Last night was that night, I feel very well rested
Thank you for this. My 6yr old is autistic and has the window open in the summer to listen to the cars driving by. With it being so cold and cost of living he can't hear the cars as good so this is perfect for us. And I don't have to freeze my butt off

I've never been to America but I feel like I've been there. Is it like déjà vu or something? Because I live in Sweden. I live in a place in Sweden where there are not many big cities (only one), and I live in a small little place. (like a village or town.)
Feels like I've been here. On a cold spring or summer night, hearing cars and being tired.
Rullvard I live in the states, and visit the city life a lot. When you’re in the city a lot stuff happens but when you’re leaving it. You start to miss it.
Unless you lived there for all your life and hate it hahaha
I had many dreams about New York when I was a kid and growing up. I had one where I woke up and New York was sailing up the river near where I live (I didn’t know most of NYC were islands at the time). I’ve had countless. I decided to finally do the right thing and go over on my own in 2017. Three years later, I’m engaged to a girl from Brooklyn!
Used to live in LA miss the sounds of cars outside. Thanks for this, makes me feel less homesick
i live next to a highway but with all this corona stuff, it’s not as much travel and it’s a lot quieter. this is the best for remedying that
I've never been in the the city, but it's super easy to sleep with this. Maybe I should be living in the city. That you for making this. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Where are you from?
Been using this every night now I can't sleep without it.
Idk if I should say thank you or fight to register this as a narcotic.
I use this from time to time to help me sleep. It reminds me of staying over at my nans Seeing the lights through the blinds and hearing the cars it's relaxing ♡ (miss you nan)
Ngl the traffic sounds like an ocean #itsjustperfect
Am I the only one ho use this to study?
samesies
me too!!!
I’m literally reading and listening to this rn😭
Next time attach a timer, so we can see the time outside :)
XX I nah the video is replay at some minute
Thank you for this. As a Philly girl, I’m so used to hearing cars pass by my house all night. When I go visit my bf in Canada, it’s complete silence, no cars passing, no sirens, not even the sound of nature, it’s eerie to me. I didn’t even realize how much I’ve been used to cars passing and how comforting this video really is. Thank you for this
I used to live in a condo near an expressway, and I had the windows open and I fell asleep to this. Whenever I go to the cottage, the silence is deafening! This video helps me feel at ease.
thank you for this , I really enjoyed the high quality , greetings from Mexico 😉
Thanks for watching! 😃
This sounds like wind blowin not car drivin when i close my eyes
Until the wind honks it’s horn. Lol
Yeah but it’s better cause this has more “life” to it
This is great for my tinnitus
This video has helped me so much at night with my anxiety.
I've watched this video over and over again. This is soooo cool. Thanks for sharing 감사합니다:)
Many thanks!

omg light rain and this would be everything
My newborn loves the sound of traffic. When she gets worked up, I just take outside and the busy street sounds (usually) calm her right down. This is the next best thing..
I love this video and it’s one of two that helps me get to sleep in my more restless nights, thank you very much for this >
とってもいいね!(very good!)

So relaxing. Thank you!
My favourite way to focus while im writing these days. Traffic like this has always sounded cozy to me❤
