Classic romance and a beautiful film and ending but the plot is silly. You leave someone who you are engaged to and run after a man you hardly know and live happily ever after 😆 lol

Great movie. Even a greater life changes for Walter. You see what marriage proposal failure could do to you? 3 years later, he became POTUS in 1996 Independence Day. He was part of heroics, who saved humanity. Bravo 👏🏽!
I was thinking the same thing about Walter from dumped- Fiance to the Hero POTUS a few years later.. But I'd still pick Sam (Tom Hanks) any day! My favorite so natural.

Bloody love this movie though
Annie could tell him that she wanted the kind of love her parents have, and that Sam had had with his wife, and when she heard him on the radio, Annie cried, and realized that she wanted "the magic" too, but had tried to convince herself that she loved Walter. She should've broken up with Walter sooner, but she was so focused on meeting Sam. Sam was so mesmerized by her and thankful he'd found love again, he'd understand.
