Sophiiee agree. I found a starving kitten with a limp that was so skinny I could feel every bone in her body. Shes fully grown now. healthy , happy, a little fat, and she LOVES attention. Sadly though she stays inside my house and she just refuses to go outside because she’s terrified of the outside for some reason, but other than that’s she’s a real sweetie.

She was not chipped and no one claimed her as theirs. This was just before I turned 10, and I got close to 12 good years with her. Sadly, she got really sick and had to be put down this Monday, and it feels like I have a hole in my chest and a part of me is missing. We were like two peas in a pod. She would follow me everywhere and wait for me, she would look for me when I was away, and my parents had to open the door to every single room in the house so she could search in there for me (which went on for days or even months). When I came back, she would stick to me 24/7 for a minimum of 3 days. When I went to work, she would follow me to the parking lot close to my house, wait, and come running up to the car when I parked it and stopped the engine, resulting in me having to open the door to let her in to greet me and follow me home. She would always want to check on what I was doing, and always jump into my lap to cuddle when she had been outside for a little bit. God, I miss my best friend...

When I found her sick that morning, and later that day got the test results from the vet (her bone marrow had stopped producing red and white blood cells, and she'd also developed an autoimmune disorder that attached the red blood cells. She had 0 white cells left, and so few red that she was being suffocated by her own body) I knew that there was nothing to do. She was in so much discomfort and pain, and all I wanted to do was to hold her tight, tell her everything was going to be OK and take her pain away. She had a vein catheter where everything was given to her, so she wouldn't need a new needle every single time. The vet first gave her pain medication to calm her before she was given the sedative to stop her heart. She died with no pain, with me and my mom by her side to keep her company. I was petting her, thanking her for everything, and her life ended with us to being together like the two peas in a pod like we always were from the beginning.

I have 2 and that describes both of them, except for the purring, the female cat never purrs and the male one almost never does...... they make sure to always be in the same room as me, she'll even stop eating if I leave the room while she's eating so she can follow me, but if I pick her up and put her on my lap she'll get up and stand off at 5 feet away, and he doesn't even tolerate me holding him, it's very frustrating.
It reminds me of my last cat when she was small, she looked almost the same to yours. She passed away almost 8 years now, I still miss her to this day. This reminded me of the good times and brought happy tears to my eyes. Thank you, hug the small fluff from me.
