I know this is your opinion but if you dont mind i would like to say something I feel like we dont really have to go through hardships to see pretty things, we can see pretty things one after another and yeah i know that people say in order to know happiness you have to know sadness but it does not mean you need to experience it . Why not see pretty things in the hardships and not wait for the pretty things to come after the hardship. I know i sound stupid but i just wanted to let you know that you deserve to have a beautiful life even without hardships , it might sound impossible but i hope you do. Thanks.

Kpop is a term made for Korean music for international fans so its just 'Korean music' so it's a trend and is popular here if the song's released and if artists like IU or Akmu makes a comeback it is very likely they get 1st place on charts and you will hear kpop songs everywhere in whatever stores here akmu is also one of the most popular artists in Korea since 2013 they were almost famous right away from the beginning :))

Saw an article about her asking for a clause in her contract with YG about not being able to be forced to do plastic surgery. On livestream some of her fans commented saying that she should get a double eyelid and nose surgery and she clapped back saying that she can breathe fine with her small nose. I hope that she stayed strong and never relent to the mean comments. Her personality and her music ability is what hooked me and she's beautiful the way she is. Beauty is fleeting but well honed talent stays.
For me, these plastic surgery comments are bully her only. If it was me, im just tell them go back to your room and lick your ideal girl/boy dakimakura(pillow).

I got sad seeing comments saying that they are not physically attractive or that they are not good singers etc etc. For me, i love their music, their voices, and I find them very cute. I'm very happy that the kids know AKMU and their songs. Actually, I'm a person with low self-esteem and consider myself talentless. I'm pretty sure I wasn't like this when I was younger but I guess realizing that the world is big really makes you lose your self-esteem. I'm 21 years old already but I'm still looking for my own qualities that make me special. I hope I can find it soon and never lost it again.

Go outside (being safe of course) and let the sun shine on your face. Clean or organize. Move furniture, clean your bedroom, etc. I like doing this because it’s such a physical thing, and you can see and feel that you did that, you just did something. Who knows what you’ll be, who knows what you’ll become. Every single person in the comments section has a story, has made mistakes, has learned, and has done so much in their life, whether it’s take a first dive in a pool or graduate. It’s like life is so long and the possibilities are endless!

Agree.. teenage years are fragile years internally, and to have to deal with rejection and nasty comments, it's tough. You really need to have a circle of people who love and encourage you. As a long time fan of AKMU, i'm honestly so so so proud of how far Suhyun and Chanhyuk has come. Beauty standards have made so many people turn toxic and it's nice to see them uphold their stance on being original and accepting who they are. Here’s what I’ve learned living for 12 years:
You are special, you are not ugly, and you are you. Nobody can change that. You are with yourself your whole life, that’s just how it is. If people say you’re ugly, they just don’t get it. Everyone is so beautiful! Just explore and try different styles and find which one you are. Everyone has potential. During quarantine, don’t spend the day in smelly pajamas all day. Get prepared, get washed and clean. Go outside (being safe of course) and let the sun shine on your face. Clean or organize. Move furniture, clean your bedroom, etc. I like doing this because it’s such a physical thing, and you can see and feel that you did that, you just did something. Who knows what you’ll be, who knows what you’ll become. Every single person in the comments section has a story, has made mistakes, has learned, and has done so much in their life, whether it’s take a first dive in a pool or graduate. It’s like life is so long and the possibilities are endless!
It's kinda sad to see comments like that, because what they commented about wasn't a doll or something that should look beautiful all the time. Musicians produce music for people to enjoy, not beautiful figure.

As a long time fan of AKMU, i'm honestly so so so proud of how far Suhyun and Chanhyuk has come. Beauty standards have made so many people turn toxic and it's nice to see them uphold their stance on being original and accepting who they are. It must be really inspiring when the kids see and hear someone not a lot older than them spreading positive messages on self-esteem. Especially in the world where your appearance can be a single judgment on your capabilities. Looking forward to more of AKMU/Suhyun/Chanhyuk and the kids' growth in the future!
