How I play the Sims:
Step 1: Spent hours on creating Sims
Step 2: Admires my work
Step 3: Creates house and decorate
Step 4: Plays for 5 seconds
Step 5: Quit and repeat

I once had a sim in Sims 1 who died while cooking her dinner after coming home from work. The last savepoint was when she went to work.
So I did the most reasonable thing, restarted the file, removed the stove and tried again.
This time, she set her microwave on fire and died. Reloaded, removed the microwave and tried again.
She used the toaster oven, same thing again, set fire on the toaster and died... At this point I thought she was cursed. So I removed ALL electrical appliances.
She had a salad that night! Success!
Next day came, she went to work like usual and then came back home as a tombstone because she was shot at work because she was working as a thief.... :D
That is the greatest thing I've heard all day 🤣🤣🤣

step 2: create sim/family
step 3: download or use pre-existing house
step 4: play for like 2 hours
step 5: stop for the day and never play with that household again

That's why I make a story line like rn one of my Sims bff is super lonely and depressed but like she's Hella rich so she just became a Tenn mom cus she a bit of a thot but my son has a crush on the baby daddy and yk where it goes from there
How mine usually goes:
1. Create really good looking sims for 2 hours.
2. Build really nice house and furnish it for 4-5 hours.
3. Game crashes and you didn’t save.

I love how the most of these explicit mods have warnings not to use it if they're under the age of 18 even though that's not going to stop them. I'll laugh if the description of a explicit mod calls out the horny teenagers like "Warning: only people who are 18 years old or over and people who lie about their age can use this mod".
I've had wicked whims forever and I'm not even old enough to drink alcohol in europe 😭
The favourite player:
Only watching out for the needs of a single, favourite SIM, and let the needs of other SIMS in the household totally untended or while the favourite SIM is doing something that take time.
They will always look at their favourite every ten seconds or so, so that SIM doesn't deterior in their needs or go on not doing anything.

I'm the repeater. I load the game and play normally for a few weeks, being a mixed bag of all 30 types, and then BAAM, I forget the game even exists for the next 4 years.

I'm a Realist, that's the best way to play and enjoy the game for me 😋 but I'm also up to be a supernatural player, I'm playing as a Vampire and it's pretty fun 😍
I'm actually:
3 - Failed realist
5 - The Create-A-Sim Dweller, in fact i just always try to create a new family because i can never get comfortable playing with the previous one ("ok, now I'm going to play seriously, no cheats" but everyone knows what happens next)
7 - I'm not a fanatic but i install 3 or 5 mods
15 - Faint-hearted
17 - Know-it-almost-all
when I was younger I already made the 25 (I'm really not proud)
26 - Supernatural fan

Speaking of challenges, there’s this one that has made me feel EVIL for doing.
I was looking at the official goals that The Sims 4 had, and there was this challenge called “Black Widow”, where you have to outlive 5 spouses, and I said to myself: “Challenge accepted…”
And so I started a new save file, created a male sim, had him marry, became a father to twins (boy and girl), and that’s when he was on the death wish.
It was hard for my heart to do at first, because I fell in love with the idea of my sim becoming a lovely father to his children, but I started this save file for a reason, so I stuck to my task and finished the job by having him get eaten by a cow plant.
I had the female sim marry again, this time to a sim who wasn’t someone I liked as much.
They had a baby together, he was in some affair, they fought, they forgave, and I starved him.
So far, the twins are now children, the third kid is a toddler, and currently I’m looking for a third unfortunate husband that will make me another baby and end up on the death wish.

When I was a kid: Motherlode x10000, playing normally, sometimes killing sims.
Now: storytelling, real gameplay, dramatic, adult mods.

I'm definitely the story teller, each one of my sims have a story of them and their families. Tbh if I didn't make stories then the game will be almost unplayable as you have to make a lot of it up yourself due to the lack of gameplay.
Im honestly that one simmer that spends hours on a house and then plays out a dramatic story.
I am also the person who does t use pre existing sims or houses. I LOVE playing out love stories and challenges.
I play so i can build tho lol i get bored if i play without building for too long
I'd say I'm DEFINITELY a storyteller. I even voice my own sims 😂

OMG I love this!! I am several types of players mashed into one. I love building, making families, TONS OF CC and MODS! I do challenges and dramatics and when I complain about packs, I stick to my thoughts. I do use cheats most of the time...even when I tell myself "this house will be cheat free" Yea so a lot of these do apply to me. Lol

i’m a realist who’s used a cheat or mod or two. never had any adult mods, never tortured or killed my sims. don’t take any kind of pleasure in that. my families are typically faithful with needs taken care of. i have experimented with children out of wedlock before. have no need for most supernatural packs but open to certain tonics and herbal boosts. love cas and build mode but always ready to play. def a legacy player but will branch off into storytelling mode. never got into all the photos and video or made a youtube but really just love the sims 💚
I play normally, sometimes do challenges and occasionally use mods. I like completing aspirations, but I think it's fine if sims only completed 1 or 2, because everyone has different skills and preferences, just like sims

I love having fun with mods, from the wicked one to the extreme violence one, i enjoy having oc sims and imagine a story for them (including using mods like the ones before) but mostly i play with sims based on me and my real family, i just love creating sims, but i'm bored about building houses. I have made an entire family made of Supernatural sims, inclung a ghost (that sim was planned to die just for that) and a skeleton (using cheats) from the jungle pack. Yeah, i couldn't imagine playing the game without cheats anymore.

I’m literally all of these except I can’t create mods and cc. I love doing machinimas, I’ve done a few but they take soooo long. 😭 ok but the Tom costume was hilarious.
I'm mostly a builder, usually use motherlode to build a nice place and then play normally. I do like a bit of drama sometimes but I wouldn't consider myself a full-on drama player. Of the supernatural packs, I can do with or without them, but I absolutely love everything to do with Realm of Magic.

I'm like The moviemaker + The know-it-all. I made my final thesis for uni about moviemaking and modding Sims 2, with the end result being a music video and a thorough documentation on how I did it.

Anyone who uses “motherlode”, just type in “testingcheats true” then type “money x” x the amount of money you want (e.g: money 100000000) it’s so much faster and easier xx
But motherlode has those satisfying "caching!" sound so it's still superior.

For me, I personally just want to gain some money for home builiding expenses so I don't want too much money left because I make my sims have jobs, even I'll be just giving simoleon gifts to people so that the balances are not too much than what it normally is
I don't find it hard to type motherlode, and then up arrow enter up enter up enter.

I have been #1 and 4 all my life, now at the age of almost 33 I have became the realist 😂 and I realized how much of gameplay I have no idea exists. I truly enjoy the game.
My sibling once spent so much time in CAS that I finished math homework and take a shower, which both take me forever.
There is a reason-they wanted the sims to look LIKE EXACTLY like their friends.
Also I was the torturer.

I am so the faint hearted player, I have had the game for 2 years and it's full of big, happy families with no one divorced and I have never intentionally killed a sim. And yes, I turn off aging.

I'm trying to slowly get some drama in there - I still have aging turned off, but my teenage son recently had a nasty break up. I'm so proud of myself for not immediately leaving without saving the game after that...

How i play:
- Install an insane amount of mods and cc
- Make a sim and a house for 5 hours (or more)
- Make an hyperdramatic gameplay (that includes serial killers, mafias, kidnapping, wars, etc.)
- Have a reservated kind sim trying to have a normal life in this cataclysmic world
- being extremely faint-hearted with the kind sim

I am a hybrid of the Create-a-Sim fanatic, the realistic, the supernatural lover and the feint hearted.
I was thinking about those "building houses but not actually playing the game", and realized something.
I don't know if it's just me, but everytime o build a house, I don't actually play with it, because it's pretty, but not really practical, and sometimes there's no space or too much space, or there's no room for what my sim does for living or hobbie, and I just have to make these small rooms apart from the main house, and when I realize it, there are three houses in the lot.
And also, when I furniture or build a house or do the landscaping while the sim grows up and gets other needs or hobbies or things to make money with or whatever, I don't usually build these stuff to be pretty...? I just put the stuff the sim needs. Maybe I'm not an architet player.
Anyways, I started this family in the premade cheap square-shaped starter house in Oasis Springs, refurnitured it a bit, got some better stuff, adapted it to my sim's lifestyle, and then her son grew up and I moved her to her husband's house, and the kid is living alone in the house now, and let's just say his mom liked to leave the party at the club, but he likes to bring the party home, so now his mom's study area is a mini-club, with neon lights, a dance floor, and a DJ cabin. That's how it works.
I’m TOTALLY the faint of heart. My sims have great lives. I would feel so guilty if they didn’t!

I also treat my sims very well but somehow they keep almost dying from electrical shocks or random fires
I- I lock pepole in my Sims basement and make the paint art for money- anf I watch them all die when I dont feed them-
I have weird Sim guilt too. Even when they get impregnated by aliens and I really wasn't planning on kids for that Sim yet, I raise the baby and try to give it a good life when I could have easily sent it back to its home world.
I’m a mix of The Cheater, Faint Of Heart Family Player and The Architect.
Before I discovered cheats I was the realistic, the family person, and the faint-hearted but now I am the dramatic, challenge user, and cheater haha!
