Just watched it. Defiantly got something different then I expected. I liked it. I would say the ending could’ve been better. But I mean it was jaw dropping and I jumped several times. I would recommend watching!

@@Bilal-gt8ky I wasn’t scared to go to bed if that’s what your asking. But I def wanted to look away at some parts. The jump scares made me scream embarrassingly. And some scenes def made your jaw drop and eyes open. I wish I could watch it again😭 it’s worth seeing

Just watched it. 4/5 stars. It was surprisingly good. Kept me tense the whole time and left you windering what to believe. It does rely a little too heavily on jumpscares though and the ending was sad but also very predictable
Just saw it a couple hours ago. The ending could’ve been done better. And it was filled with jumpscares for the most part. But I haven’t jumped that much in a while so that’s a plus. It was defiantly surprising.
I will say they did a good job on the jump scares and setting the atmosphere. I just wish they didn't rely so heavily on them. The movie was great though, sadly that ending I saw a mile away. Especially after seeing how close Joel seemed to still be with her.
1000/10 to me scared me the whole movie especially when my husband left me alone to go to the bathroom 😫
Still I thought she would survive after that encounter with her mom and her letting go of the past. I really thought it was over 🤦🏽♂️

Was expecting comedy, but got about a dozen or so jump scares. 8/10 from me. Totally worth seeing.
I love horror movies but this one made me jump a lot! Lol. Mainly because you know a jump scare is going to happen, but this movie you couldn’t predict exactly when it will happen, you just know it’s going to happen. Decent movie, definitely scared me
I kept jumping and screaming. Definitely startled me each scene. It was very different from other horrors. I’ll give it a 10

As someone w mommy issues and an anxiety disorder, this movie and the way it was paced messed with my psyche the entire time. I was a lil traumatized the next couple days afterwards tbh. Still, 10/10 would recommend this movie FOR those reasons. I love immersive media, and this was an excellent piece for those who prefer psychological thrillers but still want something a bit gorey. Executed very tasteful as well. Probably won’t watch ever again, but phenomenal film in an era where nearly all new films are lacking in originality, purpose, and audience affect
lowkey mid. i wish they showed more smiles like the first patient in the movie. she was terrifying, and so was the woman at the birthday party. the other ones weren’t scary at all, i laughed at some goofy ass scenes. definitely had potential to be scarier. i feel like the score/. buildup to the jumpsvares were scarier than the actual jump scares
the only one i laughed at was the therapist lmaoo
the first patients performance was actually really fucking good and her smile was genuinely offputting but everyone else's though???? Meh

Honestly was amazing. I’m hoping to go back and watch it again in the cinema. I’m such a huge horror fan, must of seen hundreds by now, but this one was f**king good. Great acting. And it wasn’t cheesy either. 10/10

If you found this remotely scary, then I'm afraid you haven't watched all that many horror movies after all lol... It was predictable on every jump scare, hilariously bad in other attempts at scaring. Literally the part she's stabbing the dude in hospital was a complete breakout of laughter by everyone attending at the theatre I watched it in... It's a good stream, but a pass at the cinema....

I was surprised by this film. I enjoyed it far more than I expected. An effective horror with intelligent plot devices. I'm hoping they release a sequel that explores the origins of the curse.

It is genuinely creepy. If I had one complaint it’s that it runs too long. If they could have trimmed 20/30 mins off it it would’ve been so much better.

I’m not going to lie, it was an ok horror movie. Not like anything I’ve really seen. Most of the jump scares are in the trailer. The ending looked like it came from “IT Chapter Two” where the demon grows in the mom and keeps growing and then chases after her in the house. The last part of the movie freaked me out where the demon pulls off his face and crawls inside Sosie Bacon (as Dr. Rose Cotter). The ending was disappointing because I thought Rose was going to stop the chain but just passes it onto Joel. At least Joel will be more prepared and will hopefully try to stop the chain since Rose shared a lot of the information with him.

It takes some flavor from the movie “Fallen” with Denzel back in 1998. But these guys did a GREAT job making a similar theme their own. Fuckin awesome movie that takes its self seriously.

The horror movie, Smile, reminds me a lot of the horror movie, Truth Or Dare, which was released in 2018. The evil entity attach itself to the person in the form when they make smiling face before they kill the person.
Yes and also the chain , either committing suicide or murder so they can survive and pass the curse to someone else. This movie was good but nothing too special for me . I expected a better ending too, we didn't really get an explanation of why this was happening
