I have a feeling this film will be worth the wait. The first one was such a well done film full of tension. Trying to stay quiet has never been more terrifying.
I liked the first one - - but tension? After you realised it was just Silence followed by a loud noise and music for a jump scare it was like every other horror movie.

Honestly the first part is WAAY better. I felt like I needed more suspense from this one. It was good but couldn’t top the first one. It also felt short and like the plot was going no where.

Not every sequel turns out great but goodness this was extremely well done. The actors showing the emotion, to the atmosphere and the suspense. Cant wait for part 3

Probably the only film I've seen where only the bravest in the cinema dared to eat some of their popcorn. It was so quiet in the cinema you had to resort to eating like a hamster to avoid making noise lol

I cried at the ending of both movies. The atmosphere is so well done I feel like I’m there feeling the emotions with all the characters. It’s so intense
well every time you see something upsetting just ask yourself why the future has no quiet shoes, what a stupid concept for a film.
I love the irony of this franchise: John Krasinski; A guy who didn’t like horror films - creates one of the best horror films of the 21st century. Doesn’t like sequels - makes a sequel even better than the original. John Krasinski - Actor, writer director, Thank you.
A friend of mine worked on set. John didn't write it. He spent 30 minutes looking over an almost finished set and made minor tweaks.

Just finished watching part II, amazing! I don't even think I was breathing throughout the whole movie. I was so stiff and unmoving that my muscles were sore after it was all over. Talking about being stressed out, part 2 was even more intense than part 1. Can't wait for part 3, John Krasinski brings a fresh new perspective to post apocalyptic thriller movies!

An uncommon sequel success that matches the originals pulse and raises it some too. With banging performances, smashing special effects and a story that has plenty of wallop to build on for the future, this is well worth finding the courage for and tuning in to - you wont be disappointed.

Magnificent. I would love to see a sequel. The kids were awesome, their characters development were very well done. It's better or just as good as the first one. The ending is always satisfying, hopeful and COOL.

Cillian murphy deserves more big roles, such a phenomenal actor, one of the best currently. It's a shame he doesn't have lead roles in big movies. A very underrated actor.

HOW is he underrated? He is great because he is put in the perfect roles that he agrees to play as.
It's not the actors who takes a roll and goes to play it. They are handed out a shit ton of movies to star in by their agents and they either accept or refuse to play the part.
He is great because he gets good offers (See his list of movies) and he knows what movies to accept.
He is not underrated as an actor. He is just a smart actor. (Another example from this movie is Blunt)
And I don't see how "Sunshine" was not a big movie.. Where HE had the lead roll (compared to Evans who took 3rd lead).
The problem with that movie and why it went into a gross lower than budget is because they refused to advertise it more than they did.. (Due to the budget they were given).

It seems to me that he chooses his films and roles very carefully and that's part of what makes him a great actor; it's not just about being the lead, but getting into an interesting project with interesting people and interesting characters or roles.

This movie is amazing. The actors are all incredible and the deaf actress is especially incredible, she is extremely talented. All the actors compliment eachother well.
The scenes with Regans character are among the best when it’s completely silent. Like the scene on the train where it’s silent and then from behind her you see the alien but it’s still quiet
I'm glad that I didn't watch the trailer before seeing this. I can understand why some people were expecting a full-on prequel, but I'm also glad that it wasn't. We've seen that before. The flashback was perfect. I want to see what happens next.

You can rarely find a scary movie built so nicely like this with such a great story! Loved the movie and am thinking of maybe seeing it again later!
This was a great movie. Beautifully shot and directed, perfectly cast; the suspense is equally spread across the two sets of characters fighting for their lives to great effect, like a deadly tennis match.... at times it's 'nerve wracking' like 'how can they possibly get out of this? The young actors and the 'survivalist' are very good and she is a stunning camera subject. Both beautiful and a very good actress. It's a popcorn action horror film, but it's a cut above. The monsters do not look CGI. It was great and I thoroughly enjoyed it...

*I just watched A Quiet Place Part 2 a few mins ago. It was awesome!*
So satisfying when announcement for Part II of a Quiet Place was announced. This trailer for Part II is terrific. All of it. The ordinary, the foreshadowing (that rocket!), the sudden run-and-hide, all of it. By the way, when I saw Part I in a theater, there was sound seepage from the adjoining theater showing an action movie. The absolute brilliance of the way silence and sound is used in these films, aaaah. Think of daily life - moving a chair back from the table, television, music, driving, showering, laughing, dog barking - all of a sudden these will get the monster on you. Just love it. Fabulous.
I just got back from seeing this movie with my friends, it was so intense and you genuinely couldn’t look away even when it was most terrifying, the music, the acting just everything was perfect. The whole theater was so insanely quiet, and all of us were holding our breath the entire time. I’m usually not a fan of horror but this was one of the best I’ve seen in awhile❤️❤️

My boy Cillian is awesome in this.
With so few young actors under the age of 20 being recognized for their contributions to films that arent teen films, one performance should have been nominated. I know this is essentially Emily Blunt's film but the brilliant performance by Millicent Simmonds is the backbone of this experience. The ability to go completely outside of traditional horror tropes with the acting prowess to elicit the kind of empathy you would experience in a dramatic film and then transition into warrior type fearlessness all while maintaining a sense of fragility and innocence is breathtaking. Should have been nominated for supporting actress.
Just finish this in theatre. You know when some movie did good the first time, and then they do the sequel and we're like okay let's see how this going and then they do the third and we're like okay enough we dont need anymore of this.

This movie is still crazy how I can relate to this. That high pitch frequency sound is super annoying when it suddenly happens out of the blue when I’m wearing my hearing aids and duh, it’s the life saver in this film lol. This film makes me wanna learn the ASL,too, since I’m partially impaired on my one ear. And the quietness when it’s the daughter’s scene scares me. Cant imagine losing my ability to hear one day. Thinking of getting hearing aids again since they busted a few years back and this gadgets are not cheap.
Good day to everyone commenting. I had a really good laugh, starting from after thev3 or 4th comment. Snoring while sleeping, farming, eating pop corn 🍿 in the cinema and the people turning around to watch you as if something bad will happen.....that was my favorite part looool.
