I think the fight choreograph is gonna be cool, I just hope it won't be ruined by the whole shaky cam and quick cut editing cuz you know how Hollywood treated their action movies in the action scenes nowadays
With the people behind the scenes it wonโt be any shaky cam or quick cuts
It was shot with hand held cameras as you can see here so there will be some shaknyness but only used to emphasise the hit of a fist for example. Another thing I noticed is that they shot mostly wide so we will be able to see everything, even though the camera will shake a bit (which I don't mind at all since it makes it more interactive, for me at least)
I think Kenji Tanigaki will be handling the fight scenes as the second unit director and the movie that he has been involved previously rarely use shaky cam technique

I don't think I can really reply that..coz ray park performed at god level
We cannot really compare the 2, because ray park's snake eyes is limited within the 2 movies and we cannot see his face, his emotions, etc, whereas Henry's face is visible. So, his performance is assessed based on not just his fighting skills but his facial expression, etc. Also, Ray Park has some martial arts background, whereas Henry does not. One that alone, I think Henry has done a tremendously good performance. On a side note, there is a reason why the producers want Henry, rather than any other actor with martial art skills. You should think about that, i.e. why "that" (whatever it is) is valued higher than the martial arts ability.

I believe the action scenes are gonna be awesome. Because if you don't know Kenji Tanigaki was involved with the action scenes from the live action Rurouni Kenshin movie series. If you saw clips of the movies the action scenes are insane in the best way possible. And with little to no quick editing jump cut nonsense.
I'm still nervouscited in seeing the movie. I do hope it's genuinely good.
Not to mention he's also in the fist of legend with jet li and some movies starring Donnie yen.. including blade 2.. wish ray park have a role or some involvement in stunt and choreography for the movie..

yes they're making a gi joe cinematic universe, this is the first movie that set place on that universe and there will be more in the future. not only gi joe but with the new transformers and also the power ranger reboot that they're working on now

I just saw the film recently and the action shaky cam aside was pretty alright. I will say Henry Golding and Andrew Koji are really good in their roles. And I appreciate that the film feels like a grounded Ninja film from the 90's. The film is not perfect and I won't lie that it's a bit flawed. The writing could have been stronger, Baroness and Scarlett could have used more screen time. And even though the action is kind of cool I wish they didn't do shaky cam. Still the film is pretty alright. Not as fun as Fast 9 or Godzilla vs Kong but decent enough.
After seeing this movie it was obvious they trained for the movie. Problem is the director keeps shaking the camera so I can't see any of the cool fights.

Even though I'm sure Shang-Chi will be an objectively better movie than this, and I'm not too die hard excited about this flick except for maybe the cast, I do like the look and action of this better than the former thus far.

Yay. Another movie that consists of bullshido and hollywood magazine sized gun fights in overly shiny cars. And just to make sure it completely sucks they absolutely had to cut every fight scene in six dozen different szenes so no one really knows what happened. meh.
