I enjoyed this movie. Terminator 2 will always be a masterpiece, and I’m intelligent enough NOT to try measure any other (and future) installments to Terminator 2 because that would be like asking to be disappointed. I’m grateful for 2, and can allow other movies to stand on their own.
It was a solid movie. People too often make the mistake of comparing a remake/reboot or a sequel to the movie they are watching and not watching the movie as it is its lone self.. they may not compare to the originals but they can still be purty good in their own way.. glad to see some one else sees it too!

Its a Huge bummer that we finally get the OG Sarah Conner back, but for this film. Even more of a Bummer that Linda said she doesnt want to do another Terminator film.
She said she would like to be done, but that doesn't mean she won't do another.
I get the silly suspicion that Arnold's terminator is going to have five minutes of screen time before he's dispatched quickly.

Skynet basically won in terminator 3-4-5, we are never going to hear about those timelines.
I saw some of fury road and the graphics are terrible that I had to turn it off. The girl driving though looked the part but the crashes looked so unrealistic and there were far too many.

You could just mean the rest of the terminator series has mever gotten as good as T2s CGI but if you mean all CGI then I have to disagree greatly as T2s CGI is not very presentable compared to alot of movies these days

He gave the time-stamp, so there should be no confusion about the comparison context. Also, it's more than the presentability, but the character and _design_ of the special fx. T2 terminator _oozing_ through the metal bars--in concert with sound-effect-was just incredibly... _weird._

Perhaps it's the uncanny valley. I too felt that the FX in this trailer looked less real than T2. First few scenes I was like "Is this a video game reboot of T2?"

They can, but it looks like no one gives a sh*t (in movie production) about it. They only focus on making money and getting less hate by giving us Mexinator and Feminator to make shit look equal or what not.

I felt the same emotions when i saw terminator die like i did when i was a kid the first time i saw him die in the first movie.I can’t explain it but i never felt like this watching any movie...it touched me....
I feel like they keep running in to the problem with Terminator movies thinking they have to do more, when in reality they need to be doing less. Less massive action set pieces. Go for a Terminator 1 style. Scale it back. Make it simple and just tell a good story with a T1 style simple yet relentless Terminator.
Alternatively they could have a movie set in the future and base it heavily on the future scenes in T1 and T2. Make it real dark and grim.
They keep trying to redo Terminator 2 and think upping the craziness is the way forward but I don't agree
