Just got out of the theatre watching this.
I was genuinely surprised on how funny this movie was. I enjoyed from beginning to end… even had a moment where I laughed for a few minutes straight and it was great.
If you want to just kickback and enjoy a film, go watch this. Truly a great comedy.

I'm not much for going to the "theater" anymore; but Sandra Bullock, what a gem. The casting really made this movie so enjoyable. Channing Tatum as the built guy with the tender voice/cover model trying to be the hero really did it for me. I don't know if in real life he's really that nice, but he just played that part so well. Usually guys that built are well, jerks. Daniel Radcliffe, awesome. Brad and the hair flip, I laughed so hard. Who knew Brad could be funny??? If Sandra produced this over the pandemic, bravo!!! It's probably the only film I'll go to see this year, but this one was worth it.

The whole time we were watching this movie, my husband and I went back and forth from chuckling and shaking our heads to laughing out loud at the corny jokes. This movie was great! I would highly recommend for any adult!

I just came home from the movies. I thought it was a good one. I love the fact that it was a fun movie with lots of action. Sandra Bullock was great! So is the rest of the cast. The scenes, the locations, the wild jungle and waterfalls... just breathtaking!

She also has a great lead in the recently released movie that hit #1 on Netflix, "The Unforgivable". It's a fantastic dramatic performance.

Romancing the Stone was less of a comedy and more of an adventure/romance.
This looks like a pleasant distraction from reality - something to look forward to.
This casting! You can never go wrong with Sandra Bullock-who doesn’t love her?? Dan Radcliffe and Brad Pitt look like they’re having fun in their roles. And while I don’t care much for Tatum, it helps to have a leading lady like Sandy. I laughed several times while watching the trailer and it made me wish this movie was out now. I think many of us could use some good laughs. Looks like the perfect fun/funny movie and I can’t wait!
Love the cast too. But I feel like instead of Channing (who I also don't care for), John Cena would've been waaaay more fun and interesting next to Sandra and Brad. I think John's comedy style, especially post Suicide Squad, would be hilarious for the character that Channing is playing.
Oh well now I've disappointed myself a bit lol.

Just watched it and I really enjoyed it. It was silly, funny, and had some truly unexpected moments. I have never cared for Tatum, but Sandy always has terrific chemistry with her leading men so I actually enjoyed Tatum with her in this film. I honestly did not see them taking things down that route when I first saw the trailer.
This movie was so cheesy and cute. I can understand why people don’t care for it, but it was right up my ally! Also, Beth’s character was done perfectly. She was so funny

Finally got around to watching The Lost City (it's on Amazon Prime now). What a fun movie! It's humor and fun was exactly what I was expecting, although I was surprised by the body count. Also, looking back at this trailer, it's fun how they cut the trailer out of chronological order, to tell a different story from the movie. That way, the way things play out in the movie is a bit of a pleasant surprise.

I like the character Alan. He is simple, honest but know how to encourage people when needed.
I've been saying we need a romantic adventure movie for a while. Remember Romancing the Stone and the TV show Hart to Hart in the 1980s? Those were really popular but we don't get anything like it anymore. This is going to do very well. All four of the stars look perfectly cast and are playing off their established images very well.

I would rate the movie an honest 8.5/10. The plot was sweet and simple. Great casting , the dynamic between Sandra and Channing was great. Left the movie theater feeling satisfied with the film. This movie was surprisingly funny!
