Chris both admitting that he has not played red maps on the live realm and taking the stance that he should not balance that content is so enormously respectable and genuine. Bless this man.
I wish so badly other gaming publishers around the world could digest the fact that honesty, thoughtful and plentiful content will give players (customers) the wherewithal to support and literally throw money at not begrudgingly so, because the customer knows the developers CARE sooooo much about the product they are creating and care about what the fans think of their creation. This folks is why product development should always remain in control and never allow the financial departments to take over, less you wish to watch the eventual degradation of a game. They create the product, they care for it, they need to make the decisions in the company ultimately, because their listening to the fan base and hard work put into that passion will enable that easy eventual success of the game, GGG is a perfect example of this as is old blizzard before the departure of founding members and their eventual merge with Activision. GGG will always have my continued support so long as I can trust their product and the quality of it comes first, and not sales. Thank you GGG for an awesome game!! And thank you for your example to all the other companies out their in dire need of example of how to run their companies for the sake of the products they’re creating and their fan base.

if resistances are too OP how come on my necromancer i cant kill the elder with max resist and 70% physical damage reduction. i only have about 8k health but the elder and a few other bosses still just 1 shot me
Just 1 thing about dying is if the penalty is staring at 3-5 min loading screen on the old xbox it gets really annoying... Iike say you get bad mods on minotaur - 2 minutes to clear the map - die in 30 seconds in boss + spend 5 minutes in loading screens to get back x 5 times... You spent 6 minutes playing the game while 25-30 minutes in loading screens. I don't care about dying as much as the frustration staring at the loading screens for longer than i'm playing the game :/. Yes i know it's the old xbox but if you intend for people to die why even add a loading screen, let us reset in the map(Warn us it removes a portal).
Frankly the 80% skill speed modifier you added to the skills you did killed the viability of all those skill completely, I had a lot of fun with consecrated path before you ruined it

the problem with this entire setup is that all or rather MOST of these questions are asked by elite players that put in 10+ hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. the top 0.001% of players. the massive minority. do you see the problem trying to balance and PLEASE this tiny minority of the player base? if you don't see the problem, then clearly you are blind. leveling (early game before end game) should NEVER be about decking your character out just so you are res capped and have high life rolls so you don't get one shot by some dumb poorly thought out attack. instant killing you isn't GOOD balance, it's LAZY balance. long MEANINGFUL fights are FUN not instant kill you before you instant kill me. it's unsettling to say the least that you haven't LEARNED this yet, even playing your own game. if you want MORE people to PLAY and KEEP PLAYING then stop balancing the game for the 0.001% of players and instead balance the game for the 99.999% of players. quite honestly the changes don't have to be crazy or anything, just that someone who doesn't put in more time then a full time job should be able to play without TOO many issues.

It was such a good marketing scam, I have to give it to you. A really good way to inflate your view numbers by "giving out drops" - which you haven't... to hundreds or thousands? of people from what I've seen... even after 12 hours of watching it in total. But it was a good lesson to never watch any of your stuff again and how trustworthy you are. Just an advice, but you could learn from the Warframe guys that DO give out a fixed drop after watching for a consecutive 30 mins on their dev streams.
Would love to see someone who is good at math see how unlucky I am to have received 0 drops after watching both days. I got as far as seeing that there are 192 times the "chance" could occur and yet I still came out empty handed. Sometimes the stream's drops would disable without me knowing and it'd be a whole panel before I noticed and refreshed. Really blows. Otherwise, super psyched for 3.9 & four oh oh.

I linked my path of exile account to twitch and was connected the whole stream.... you were supposed to get a garanteed drop after 5 hours of watching but I didn't get anything after watching the whole stream of 8 hours so yea thier twitch drops aren't working properly to start and to finish the havn't said a word about it which means they are probably to busy and don't care about it now... Last time I'm connecting to twitch fro their fake drops......

On average doesnt man that you get a confirmed drop, its still a game of chance. I've read through the whole thread multiple times to see if i was mistaken but i am not. Seeing your answer tells me that you didnt even check if you were right or wrong next time do some research before answering.

Well I didnt get nothing as well watching everything. But we were Watching for fun And annoucments right? If you want those MTX, buy them. You spent 16h watching. You cold work for 4h And buy them instead if you were there just for drops.
