    Interesting how different his forehand is here even in 2011 compared to the peak years. So many balls that he would crush away in 2004-6 are instead placed well with heavy topspin to build a point that ends with a safe winner.

    • @TheseHoesAreLoyal
      @TheseHoesAreLoyal 8 개월 전

      his forehand was still potent until the end of 2012 when he stuck with the 90 head size racket and his back wasn't bothering him that much. He ran around to hit his forehand and depended on it heavily until he switched to the 97 racket. Maybe the subtle difference between 2004-2006 forehand and his 2011 forehand here is that he added more spin, that's all. He still crushed those forehands in 2011 just like in 2004-2006.

      His forehand died somewhere in 2012. That racket didnt help either

    i always wanted to see stan do better but i realize that is much harder to do than say roger had a great career and most of us really miss watching him play tennis has lots of talented players but none as easy to cheer on as roger he had a humble character many of the current players are sadly without

      Ah yes. They happened to RANDOMLY slow it down the one year Djokovic was playing poorly 😂😂. Slow courts would help Nadal more than Nole, and we all know how Nadal plays against Djokovic on hard court (especially AO).

      @vijayendranvijay4538 년 전 +4

      @@mikemoggerson6651 hard courts take a toll on rafa's knees and rafa is not a best hard court player😂... Rafa won in 2009 and 2012 against Roger coz roger's winners couldn't penetrate through the courts as the courts were playing so slow...if novak is a best hard court player, why does he have only 3 USO titles out of which 2 were played in night sessions when the courts play slower🤣🤣... Imagine novak's state if AO semis and finals were played during day sessions... Lot of istomin's would have bloomed😂😂

    • @mikemoggerson6651
      @mikemoggerson6651 년 전 +2

      @@vijayendranvijay4538 what you’re saying makes NO SENSE. The US open is a slower surface than Australian open. Djokovic has “only” 3 titles at the US open compared to 9 in Australia. How could he benefit from them slowing the courts down when HE’S LITERALLY BETTER IN THE TWO FASTEST MAJORS OF THE YEAR (AO and Wimbledon)? You make NO SENSE. According to you Djokovic benefits from them slowing the courts…yet in reality he’s statistically worse on slow courts.

    • @sasook

      @@mikemoggerson6651 USO’s only been slower than AO in recent years, more or less around the addition of the roof. Before that it was always faster than the AO.
