I got to step 23 and ended up getting 68.999 seconds live on stream and it killed my soul. I ended up spending over an hour on it and stood no chance after that. Feelsbadman

To be real, there were hundreds of thousands people solving this riddle and sharing answers which was not the case with Cicada 3301. I agree that it was not the hardest in the world, but if one man is solving alone it would take him at least a week.
@@damjantasevski5769 you had to use actual programs with cicada 3301 and the riddles are super complicated, the cicada puzzle is still unsolved years later. This took 6 hours to solve by teenagers...

honestly, this riddle annoyed me since so many people did it really quickly and no one even had a chance to even start it, but either than that, it's a fun riddle and I really liked it.

They couldn’t possibly say this riddle was easy when they had to cheat and use things to find the working link or the word that you had to find
call it “cheating” or just another solution to a problem. Just because some ppl find ways of solving problems in ways I couldn’t think of shouldnt make them cheaters.

it's not cheating when that was the whole point. You were supposed to do it fast and none of the steps would even require a brain if there werent those ones where it was pretty much impossible for someone to do it manually.

It was not a grading test lol, nothing should be considered cheating. Imagine you become a white hat hacker and testing the security of a program, would you be a cheater if you found a non-direct way to crack it?

Someone solved this in 7 hours? And here I was thinking I'd have time to give it a shot after work today. I started a few hours after he announced the riddle, so I was already at a massive disadvantage. Good job to that person who managed decipher all that mess! lol

The person who solved this is going to 100% be a programmer/hacker.
Legit over 50% of the steps were brute forced/scripted

The gaul this man had to say that this 'riddle' was harder than Cicada 3301. The thing's been running since 2014 and still hasn't been solved yet!

People who solve Cicada are probably hired by the CIA or some high ranking government recruitment and told not to talk about the riddle or tell anyone how to solve it. Those talking about its are the ones who have never solved it.

I really tried hard to solve this riddle but there were two problems I figured out AFTER that
1.the riddle has been solved already
2. It wasn’t even available in my country

i love the artificial difficulty here, there are so may instances where you just have to do or go through ALOT of one thing to get to the next step

I was on Carl’s Flappy Bird when I saw that someone had won, at which point I stopped. but I didn’t get to start the riddle until 3 hours after it was uploaded :( I had fun though! The discords were helpful

Step 25: Within that list of urls there is one unique one which will take you to the final page. I found it by copying the entire list into word and finding and deleting all duplicate urls until only one was left

- There are a few gaps in here, but I did the best I could with what I had :)
- The game had tons of bugs and security issues. The flappy bird game was so unbelievably broken. Once you got to it because of the # of people playing it, it was impossible to play. People had to write a script to beat that one too
- If you showed your email and code on stream, people could get into your account and spam the phone with racial slurs. This unfortunately happened to streamer XYZ

I found out about this riddle today, and I wanted to try and solve it. And when I got to the paperscissors url, I realized it no longer worked, soooo. The riddle is no longer solvable, and it made me sad cuz I love riddles and I wanted to solve it. So to satisfy my curiosity I just searched a video explaining it on KRplus and found this video. I was going to solve it on December 7, 4 months after the riddle debuted. I got to step 4 without realizing it had been done in 7 hours. If I had figured out the riddle in under that time, I would have been very mad

Nad nad only 9? sorry if you are solving it alone. you will need quite some skill sets to solve it so having a group of people to solve together is much more easier

I know Im saying this a little late but step 25 was 1000 links and you had to find the one that linked you to the final page. Unfortunately I got stuck on step 24 on the day of the challenge and was sooo close to winning the challenge
