Due process deals with proving a crime in a court and assigning blame and payment. I can personally decide what I believe is guilt, not constrained by these concepts. If I was called upon to be in a jury, then I am constrained by these concepts.

Even the guy from Kidbehindthecamera admits he's seen the kids cry on command, again it's fake the only reason it became so real was because Phil miss interpretated something that he did not understand...
He's lying. I grew up with abuse. Anyone who has grown up in an abusive home can see the abuse in this family. The Cody kid is the scapegoat of the family.

I'm the scapegoat in my family and it is emotionally draining. I'm 18 now and got out of the house. I dont talk to anyone in my family and my mental health is so much better. I feel so bad for cody, watching these videos makes me cry and breaks my heart. It is something he is going to have to live with for the rest of his life and try to work through.

Just watching the video of these parents made me feel scared and like I was a kid all over again. Fuck these parents and I hope these parents get sent to prison so they can be abused also.

"Happy times do not negate abusive or violent ones" oh my god, thank you...my mother accuses me of saying we never had any good times, or that they're meaningless to me, because I finally confronted her about her abuse towards me. She directs blame everywhere but herself. I got one seemingly heartfelt apology from her, which no longer holds any meaning because of all the unsolicited excuses and misdirects she's thrown at me, since.
In the end, I don't *care* if we get along sometimes, or that we've ever had fun together. It's not worth the abuse.

As a domestic abuse victim, my father would do everything that these parents are doing. Making excuses that don’t make sense, and saying that you treat a child in the way you do because they are Crazy, that’s called gaslighting. And not to mention when he asked the kids if they were happy they were terrified and answered so quickly to avoid the repercussions of not responding with what their father wanted. And the way he demeaned the women in that household, and the excuses. This case shows all the classic signs of abuse and those parent are outrageously unfit for the needs of those children.

Michaela Lenae All of the children are showing different ways of coping with abuse, and I feel like the girl is like the silent observer. She's hardly ever crying or laughing at anything. Like she watches all this shit and thinks "if I'm really quiet and don't speak up, they'll leave me alone." In one video, the dad asks for a hammer (to break an Xbox) and she just silently gets it for him.
Even when she's fucking slapped across the face, she's clearly tring to stifle her tears, probably because she's seen what happens to Cody when he openly cries.

As a person who came from an abusive background, watching those videos make me ill.
There are so many signs...too many signs of very visible and very real abuse. Hell, the biggest sign for me was when the children all said everything was okay, Cody was the only one who averted his eyes and became withdrawn. He spoke quietly, and he spoke on command....and that makes my heart ache.
These parents do not deserve to have these children. More specifically, they don't deserve to even know Cody. That poor boy is in very obvious distress, and he is the butt of the "joke" and that will and probably already has DESTROYED HIS SELF ESTEEM.
This makes me angry. So, so angry. And I applaud you Phil for saying something. They NEED this negative attention, and if the parents continue to deny it, then they are digging their own grave.
Let them fall. Get those kids some help.

They'll get what's coming to them, one way or another. There's plenty of evidence there for a court, and the internet is filled with people who have a massive hatred for this (Hence the death threats and road rage)
I saw that too, and it broke my heart. A child who is abused on a regular basis will not admit to it when surrounded by his abusers. He doesn't want to get in trouble for "making them look bad".
Narcissistic parents often step on their kids to put themselves in a higher place and thrive on making them miserable. It's not unusual to have one kid take the brunt of the abuse. Cody's siblings, being the children that they are, see this behaviour and believe that it's alright (or even encouraged) to be awful shits to him. Even if CPS were to take action now, a lot of damage has been done and a lot of work is going to have to go towards readjusting Cody.
It's likely that he's going to have some deep-seated trust issues stemming from being unable to feel comfort around the people that anyone is supposed to be able to trust - his family.
the thing that disturbs me the most is that these are the things they allowed to be seen by others... can you imagine what happens to these children when the video isn't recording?? this is disgusting....

He knows he is emotionally upset and the reaction he's having is not necessarily the right response. But it also shows that while Cody knows coping mechanisms and self control, his parental figures are not willing to allow him those coping mechanisms. They don't care about his greater emotional control, they only care about getting a reaction out of him. Very mentally damaging.

TLDR: I cleaned the cage inside instead of outside because it’s windy and it turned up to be a lot faster. And I asked my mom why we don’t do it inside and she said because she didn’t want us to I asked why then she went off at me about how “she is the mom” and “I have to do what she says no matter what I think” bull shit.
Longer version:
Tbh my mom is OCD about things that aren’t that bid a deal.
I have two male guinea pigs and I use wood chips for bedding and had to clean it today.
I cleaned it out and chilled with my pigs while the cage bottom dried and bla bla blaaaaa.
We finished and my mom said something about the cage looking good and I sad something like “It was a lot easier to do it inside, can we do it inside from now on?”
Then She said in a rude tone “nO”
I asked why.
Then she said “because I said so I’m the mom and you do what I say!”
I said I just want to know
She then started rating a bout me being “disrespectful”
I want to say something about it but I know she will just be a bitch about it or just go off about being the mom and Me being a “child that doesn’t understand” so I’m just going to wait till I’m 18 and get my own place and train a true guard dog or train it to get me a weapon like a spear or some shit to help protect me.
I truly can’t wait to have my own place and be on my own.

YES! My father was a psychologically manipulative, emotionally abusive person who used this very same tactic against me. He'd antagonize me to the point where I snapped and went off on him, then he'd act all hurt and sit on the couch with a forlorn look on his face, asking me why I was being so "hateful". Professional child actors can fake this in movies about abusive parents. They may even learn the theater technique of hitting thin air while the other actor jumps backwards like being hit and someone makes the sound effect of an impact. But the way DO5 didn't say those things suggests they didn't use such tricks and hit each other for real, even if scripted. That's not a safe working environment for child actors.
