In my country, Uruguay, we eat them with butter reduced with water. Ham and cheese sandwich and bathed with barely alibar on the shell. I loved the machine to make the doubles and the edges serve to haer palmeritas or phosphorites(Jesuits) Also dulce de leche. From one day to the next heated in a sandwich maker are exquisite. It's not my preferred flavour for croissants But I wouldn't say no to trying it either. 😀 There's too much of a sugar overload with all added extras.
I'm sure they're all delicious but not as delicious as a plain old butter croissant.

The pâte d'amande and the chocolate are supposed to be INSIDE the croissant. A bit hader to make, but much better if you have to keep them stored and reheat them .
Those look very appetizing though. I'm sure they taste fantastic too.
