The praying mantis, Kiwi, has laid its third egg and is doing well.
Now that it's winter, I can't catch locusts anymore, so I ordered crickets to give to Kiwi.
The day the crickets came,
In our house, not only Kiwi, but also hamsters, tree frogs, and Scyther all ate crickets deliciously.
And after a few days...
Finally, Kiwi has started spawning for the 4th time.
Will Kiwi be able to finish spawning safely?

와... 역시 키위 다른사마귀들은 4번산란하면 거의다 죽는데.... 정말 다행이네요!!!! 키위야!!! 꼭 올해 넘기자!!!!!!!!!

사마귀들은 산란을 할수록 노화속도가 빨라지는데 아직 키위는 수명이 많이 남아있나봅니다 ㅎㅎ

I've followed your journy with kiwi while raising my own praying mantis. I found my praying mantis when she was well into adult hood. I found her a mate and she laid her 4 eggsacks aswell. But after 2 months of having her, she's dying. Today I found her laying limp on the bottom of her enclosure and she can hardly move a leg. her antennas are drooping and her face is turning a pink color. you can just see how aged she is. She can no longer eat so she is going to be leaving very soon. It's sad but she was such a cool pet to have while I did, and her memory will live on with her hundreds and hundreds of babies hatching in the spring.

귀뚜라미가 탈피하는 모습은 또 처음보네요ㅋㅋ 곤충 중 탈피하는 애들은 탈피 직후엔 거의 대부분이 몸의 색이 원래보다 연한 것 같아요!
