The sudden death of the watermelon makes us all sad.
The first time I met a watermelon was in early February.
We spent more than two months together.
I wanted to send pumpkins and watermelons back to nature around May, but everything doesn't go my way.
Watermelon has been eating less honey for some time.
I searched the life cycle of the amber bees and found out that males die the following spring.
But I didn't know the watermelon's death would come so soon.
(In the case of Ranger, he gave me a few days to say goodbye.)
The next day I headed to the countryside and buried the watermelon next to the wasp.

I feel for you in this experience. Last year, I had several caterpillars that metamorphosed into butterflies, and one of the butterflies came out with a shriveled wing. It never expanded properly for some reason. I realized she was female after I saw other butterflies "pestering" her. Anyway, when it came time to release the butterflies after having them a few days, I kept her, because she couldn't fly, knowing that I would need to give her the best life I could. She never did become able to fly, but she got pretty good at jumping straight up and falling on her back like Watermelon. She never went hungry and she had a whole enclosure to herself. She ended up living a week and a half longer than painted lady butterflies are supposed to live, and I hope she was happy :)
Aw I had two pet crawfish once, one was big and had a missing arm. The little one was feisty and kept hitting the big one. I soon had to release them, so I put them in a creek by my house. And I never saw them again

어렸을적 키웠던 병아리가 생각났어요. 병아리가 세상을 떠났을때 그 아픔은.. 과거 한 친구를 이미 잃고서 또 다시 도전하는 모습 용기 있다고 생각해요. 곤충 친구들이 소중한 추억을 주고 죽음을 받아 들이는 연습을 할 수 있도록 우리를 도와주는 것 같네요.

You gave that bee so much, he learned how to fly when he might not every have learned. You kept his tiny tummy filled with honey every day. He may have passed but he passed while having lived a fulfilling life. I'm completely terrified of bees because I have an allergy, but this makes me want to cuddle a bee. I love this video!
