Lost my dad to cancer a couple years ago, nearing 22 years old now. Followed his pathways in joining the military. It's tough putting on that strong face of a service man each day. Because hold shit do I miss him. He taught me so much about strength, resilience and respect growing up. Words can't even describe how much I always looked up to him. I never idolized superheros, athletes or actors as such. Only my dad.
It's been tough and man I miss him so much, but I know he wishes for me to push on and keep striving for the best.
The girl who had cancer and shaved her dad's head made me cry .Because the was a girl who died of cancer on my street and I just thought of her.

I have an 8-year-old son and I can't imagine what kind of pain a parent goes through having children with cancer. I think all you can do is try hard smile to make them smile at the same time do everything you can to protect them from the saddest disease in the world.
I wish I could’ve had a dad like that that supported me in my time of need My dad cheated on my mom while I HAD CANCER as a kid and dated my nurse behind her back and mine…..he is a horrible person and is self-centered, and only cares about himself!!! He always complaining that it was too difficult for him to handle and that he was too tired and stressful with all the situation….!!! he cared more about getting laid and having a good time….as he only cared about himself and his DI*CK…. More than he cared about his own children I was very young at the time I was 8 years old when I got cancer, and I sadly got diagnosed on my birthday…. And from everything I’ve been through now I know the truth…. As he was never there for me, and would leave for months at a time and wouldn’t be in the hospital with me, and would randomly show up whenever he felt like it always making my mom do all the work….and sometimes he would even make my brother do stuff to help me out as I was severely I’ll and he would forcefully make my brother help me as he didn’t feel like it whenever my mom wasn’t home….…. Life is difficult, and there’s always obstacles to go through and my journey give me a new understanding of what life is about…. I hope that you cherish those moments with your son and guide him through life because I know that you are a wonderful person and you are doing an amazing job as a parent……

Last guy probably screwed up his kid's arm and shoulder for life by dragging him down the slide with his body weight pulling, which meant the kid had a higher acceleratiom than normal, and then with all that forward momentum and all the kid's entire body weight, hanging and coming to an abrupt stop all by the hand. You could see the boy spinning by the shoulder. You could even see the guilt on the man's face at the end underneath the smile. Some people have good intentions but just lack the mental capacity and they end up doing more harm than good.
That doesn’t change the fact that he is a cool dad.
