Western makeup tends to refer to more American influence, I feel. I'm American, and I see the difference heavily between the two styles--Korean & American. From my observations, European makeup tends to generally look more natural like korean (french for example). It can occasionally look dramatic, but European women tend to focus on accentuating a more natural beauty like Koreans.
I feel like "Western" aka more American looks are much more distinct & chiseled looking. The cut-crease. The arched brow. The contour. The highlight. etc. The face is made up to look more chiseled, defined, sexy with less emphasis on cute or more natural looks.. Even the application of makeup is different here. She's very gentle applying her makeup bit by bit. Barely any tugging, hard patting or brushing. Pretty contrasting to how many American makeup gurus apply. It a tad more aggressive, with no better choice of word. 😅 It's been really fun this past year learning about how different Korean makeup techniques are, and I actually love using them more! So natural looking!!😍😍😍
dreamarte only difference really is the products she uses. But this is an average makeup video to me, an American. Only difference is what she uses and that she’s speaking Korean.

The best tip I can personally give is when copying makeup tutorials, you should change it up a bit to fit your own facial structure because if you copy it exactly it can tend to look a bit off
Yup. This all depend on your facial shape. Korean has quite uniqe eye shape which demand special treatment. If your eyelid is more similar to european it's not gonna work for you.

Okay. So I’m officially your fan now. I like how u keep the makeup simple. Not to much and not too less. American and British tutorials (my opinion) are pleasing to the eye but not for beginners. Even there beginners tutorials are hard. Especially for a person like me who’s a failure at being a well GIRL. your tutorials are just my type although I don’t have double eyelids, jaw, lips, or a chicken pox scar free skin like yours I still enjoy watching and leading make up from ur videos. I have the same eyeshadow palette as the one shown here. Quite good if you want a soft but somehow fierce-smokey eye look. You can lowkey use the 5th shadow from your left as a highlighter and the 3rd one (brown) as a contour base.
