I started watching NBA in 2010, it's incredible to see D-Rose and melo still play and impact the game after 10 years. Both of them are true legends for me. So inspirational. Love them both.
Don't ever mention D rose with melo melo been in the league way longer and played at a higher lvl for years and went with out playing and came back after everyone said melo is done and old lol he just never sold out they tried to black ball him like they did Allen Iverson
@@mar-leehindrixrecords Melo and D Rose's career is only separated by a 5 year time span. Plus Rose had plenty of adversity to overcome from his injuries and also nearly being blackballed out the league after his year with the Knicks and how he had to had to rot on the Free Agency wire until the Cavs gave him that vet minimum contract.
Plus at D Rose's peak, his career was better than Melo's by becoming the youngest MVP in league history and putting the Bulls back on the map for the first time post Jordan.

Melo has so many injury avoiding tricks on his landings now, like 2:06 he shoots an unorthdox midrange with the wrong leg kicking out (If you shoot midrange, you know landing that kicked out midrange shot starts to put a strain on your landing leg). Also when he lands away from his defenders feet, and he no longer lands predominantly on his back leg on his jumpshots but lands cautiously on both legs. I think these small tricks is why he's able to have the legs to shoot even in his age, and despite not having a freak of nature body.

@Clutch7 He's on a minimum contract because he has no other choice because no teams in the league wanted him. Portland did him a favour by bringing him on since they were so injury riddled hoping that he would propell them into the playoffs and so far he's been unable to contribute that much. And Dame just got injured so they had Dame, Cj and Melo for the vast majority of the last 3 months so no excuse.

Not everyone is going to like this, but C.J. almost lost this for us. I know he almost had a triple double, but his shot selection is the worst. He scored 40 on 30 shots Melo was 8 points behind on 16. He took almost double the shots. The only person he was going to pass to was Melo. Notice they went up on Melos hot shooting and Melo said we went away from what GOT US THE LEAD. FACTS. Please someone tell me am I imagining this or does what I'm saying have any truth. Not saying Melo is coming at CJ but I think he's right.
He went 50% from the field an 55% from three with one turnover. The Pistons had 70 bench points while we had 10. We did go away from what got us the lead, it was putting the bench in. To answer your question, yes I think you are imagining things.

I asked the question but it was only to gauge the opinions of others. I know for a fact he was one of the reasons that 16 point lead disappeared.
