I flushed my Ambien after I recorded myself sleep shopping on the internet, sleep moving my furniture (no joke), and finally sleep drove to the 7-11 up from my house. Dangerous!

I have gotten dressed and wound up in a bar down the block not realizing how I got there and fell asleep sitting there, that's when I stopped and threw the rest in the toilet bowl. I had wild nights of visuals and loved it but that party had to end LOL
You have to go to bed at a decent time and not abuse it. When you don't go to bed and stay up that's abuse people.

I took two the first time and I hallucinated that the blinds on the closet doors were moving up and down, I packed a lunch for my stepson like he was going off to war and I ate a whole box of cereal without milk in bed. But they are a great help if taken CORRECTLY! be safe everyone

TheeJordanPeltier I think in some sleeping problems in children that there is something like this for kids. A much lower dose I'm sure. And positive their parent has to watch over the doses. Just what I've read somewhere. Could be wrong. Maybe for kids with night terrors? I'm not saying I'm right at all, just a thought... take care both of you. 😊

Ambien has a short window for sleep, for me it’s like 15min. If u don’t fall asleep within that time I start to hallucinate and start eating anything in sight

It's a crazy drug. Mostly I got good sleep, but I've had some delusions/hallucinations on Ambien. Most common were seeing and talking to people that weren't really there.
Weird. I take recently started taking Ambien for insomnia. Straight to sleep no issues. Gave 1 to my husband tonight, he is straight fucked up. Like a mix of stumbling drunk and stoned. Eating and sleeping, no hand Eye coordination, like takes 4 tries to get the food to the mouth. Need to stay up make sure he doesn’t end up on the floor in the kitchen.

It's definitely unique. It can feel really good or really depressed, in my opinion.
Ambien is no joke. Especially if you take it recreational. I have it for insomnia but some nights it still doesn't help - but for those next 3-4 hours life is great. Then you fall asleep into the depths of the abyss.
I interviewed George on the radio one time. After his show that night, he told me, “you did a great interview man.” That was the coolest compliment ever.

I took ambien for the first time last night and I apparently kept walking into other peoples room saying “I’m thirsty” that is a horrible horrible drug
I take anywhere from 10-20mgs of ambien depending on the night and sometimes none at all I've been on it for 2 years and I've never had any problems with it I can go without if I feel I don't need it. When I take 20mg I'll have double vision sometimes but I've never done anything crazy. As soon as I feel it taking affect I lay down
I went to the hospital and the doctor gave me 20mg of ambien. My mom came to pick me up and take me to my grandma's as soon as the car started moving I was having double vision of cars the lines in the streets, signs. When I got to grandma's and got out of the car or when the car stopped moving the double vision stopped
10mg of zolpidem is the max dose. Doctors will never prescribe more than that

@@LMCSM You mean per pill? The last Ambien script I got was for 30 10mg pills, basically a month's worth. The single max dose was 10 mg PER PILL, not 10 total mg.
Every nite I take my ambien, best sleep wake up refreshed. This is how slick marketing is. AMBIEN..... Am=morning, Bien =good(Spanish) therefore literally translates to Good Morning 👁️

when you take ambien you literally have like a 5 minute window to fall asleep- after that it’s only up from there literally lol it’s the best high you will ever experience but it’s also scary cause even when “you” go to sleep, your brain is still awake.
I used to sleep walk, cook whole meals, go to my neighbors house & hangout with them, call, text, everything a normal person does while awake! But have no recollection of it the next day. I would be so embarrassed to unlock my phone the next day because I didn’t know what I had said or texted to anyone while I was “high” aka on ambien. I would even set boobie traps for myself to “wake up” but that’s the thing, your brain is sooo smart it’s like you’re not even asleep. Your body & YOU think you’re sleeping but your brain is functioning everything else.
Nonetheless, it gives you the greatest feeling of euphoria which is the most addictive part. So even though it makes you feel great,
It’s so additive that I advise anyone to try a medication that’s not a hypnotic before reverting to ambien. everyone’s body handles it differently but almost every night I took it, I would do crazy things in my “sleep” that I would not remember not even a little bit. Literally no recollection whatsoever. So that was MY experience. that was before I had my son so thankfully I ended up getting pregnant & stopped taking it because I probably would’ve ended up doing something in my sleep that I wouldn’t have been able to take back (possibly driving my car & killing someone) and not even know until the next day. Im serious it’s that strong. I would also lock the medication in a lock box but my brain is so smart even while “asleep” I knew where I hid my key & I would eat more ambien in my sleep! Also another embarrassing moment, when I wake up & count how many pills I have left and I end up only having 19 when I had just got a refill the night before & had 30. And i knew it was me who took them cause I would also be soooo sick throwing up peach colored residue the whole day lol so BE AWARE. And if you already naturally have sleep disturbances (a history of sleep walking) then this medication is definitely not for you. And that is my wild/fun/scary/eventful journey I had with ambien. once i took 1 pill of ambien of 10gm at night, didnt hit so took another, went to washroom that's where it hit and immediately lost consciousness and started sleepwalking. texted and sent my selfies to some of my friends, made some videos on my phone, made coffee and had it with toast. slept at around 6 am in the morning and got up at 3 pm and got to know what have i done, still i didn't remember doing anything last memory was going to washroom and after taking 2nd pill.
i had thought 2 pills shouldn't have done this much then i checked my ambien pills and 8 pills were missing out from its place.
Ambien entangles your logical thinking, makes you delusional, and nothing bothers you, nothing! It is freaking weird and is best to keep all that in your sleep. Scary but interesting drug, I personally find it great to correct jet lag though.
"Tripping" is an understatement.
As different people react differently to different medications, it all depends on how the body chemistry of each person reacts to the medication! I've taken Ambien for over 10 years in a raw , and have taken more than the recommended dosage most of the time, and have never experienced anything out of the ordinary, leave alone things of such dimension.
The real trouble with this medication is the addiction. How many people take Ambien and hit the road - very few. But how many people take it and get addicted and who are worried about how to come off, almost all of them. I'm glad I'm off the hook without switching to any other evil!

@Morbo The Annihilator he something really strange one night, I woke up to him saying repeatedly in Jesus name in Jesus name and I raised up and he was laughing and I think he was half awake and half asleep. The guy was really nice but strange. He slept on the couch one night and I was having a dream two scary black shadows were in my hallway moving and I woke up from the dream with him standing over top of me. I know that doesn't have anything to do with Ambien but the guy was strange idk if it was because of this drug or just him
@Morbo The Annihilator no drugs, I don't normally have trouble sleeping at all. I may have been spoiled because of his strange behaviour, maybe it wasas from him making me feel uneasy I'm not for sure
People do that because they take it and don't go straight to bed. They take it and fuck around until it kicks in then they do all that crazy shit. I take 10mg ambien a night for the last year never once have I had an experience like this on ambien and that's because I take it right.

I've had minor hallucinations on ambien. Just small images on my computer screen, looping images and thoughts. A cartoon hand like Mickey Mouse and a cloud and a rubber duck just flashing one at a time across the computer screen. Then looping thoughts one time which was terrible i don't remember what they were but it's just like short word rapidly repeating in ur head, it's kinda scary and very annoying...only happens when I take 20-30 mg
That one or two word looping happens a lot with other types of drugs, I can't bear it for a single day my friend went through it for ages and at the time led to psychosis

You trip your nuts off. It's wild. Take it and relax and in an hour you are asleep like a bear in hibernating.
You stay up for a couple hours after taking say 20-30 MG, it may as well be acid. But it's more your mind and head. Not visual.
Also a couple of times I’d wake up after having a great sleep and I’d get txts or flowers from my husband of 28 years and he’d say stuff like you were a freak last night….. I’d have zero memory of it and so embarrassed and afraid to ask him what I did but he’d be whistling around the house eeekk

It's different for everyone. Don't abuse it, take the 5-10 mg. dosage, on an empty stomach, and get right into bed.
What doses do people take?
It's typically prescribed in 5 -10 mg doses and you get a 30 day supply. Of course, you can simply take multiple doses, but be very careful if you decide to use this drug recreationally.

Probably same way as you do strong benzos, the absolute terror and shame of what ridiculous things you've done come back like the other post said in snippets over the next week and if you've been drinking alcohol before benzos or at some time on them your charge sheet when you wake up in a police cell will give you a good idea

@@GR-ke3fn Yeah, def need clarification on this one. 14-16 mg is an odd sounding number for a dosage, but it's better than 14-16 x 5 mg or 14-16 x 10 mg. 😯 I'd trip out and then sleep for a couple days if I took that much.

I take it sleep wake up but I still can be woken like normal a noise woke me one time and I got up and looked out a window and I saw a house on fire I was in a nightdress I’m 50 years old and I jumped up and ran into that burning building to save the people the next morning all my neighbours and my husband congratulated me on saving a plant yes a plant all the people had gotten out and they said I was so fast no one could stop me I have absolutely zero memory of it in ten years on it that was the only thing I’d done but wow what a thing to do

Ambien may make you wobbly a little bit, but that’s it. Comparable to having a Drink or two. Not nearly as impactful as he’s saying. Propofol is a different case.
Depends on the individual. Some people just get a little fucked up, as you mentioned, "comparable to having a drink or two". Others get deliriant effects where you "enter" a different reality. No joke. I've personally experienced this.
My father made the mistake of taking two the other day and was hallucinating like crazy. Saying he wasn't home. He kept saying that we were moving. Getting dressed to go change my tire on my car. All kinds of strange out of the ordinary things. Saying he worked the fields that day. It took him a long time to come down from that. It was pretty scary. Almost felt like he had Alzheimer's or dementia?

Ambien needs to be taken off the market. It's not a good thing when you're visiting other family members, and you hear the next morning that you were walking around their house no close on, except for boxer shorts being on your head. Embarrassing for them. I had no idea. So they need not be embarrassed. Someone took me back to the room I was in, and I had no idea. I'm glad that's all that happened. I could have went outside, and there are bears in that area. So ya, I'll never ever take Ambien, ever again.... There are so many stories about ppl driving and shopping. Cooking full meals. So far, I've not read about anyone dying or causing any deaths. There may be but I haven't looked that far into it...
There have been murders and several vehicular deaths. One man is serving 48 years for killing his best friend and he didn't know he did it. He was out of it and asked police if she was okay and where was she. Halcion was banned everywhere but the U.S. because of murders but most of those people were acquitted and got huge settlements. One was $21 million. That person still killed themself because they couldn't live with the fact they killed their mom. Another awarded $1.5 million killed themself. I can't believe Ambien is legal.

please ask some one to lock you in your room and keep the key safe and ask them to not listen to you till 5 hours after the pill.
You would not believe the things you would do. It causes serous amnesia. If you are going to try it with out a lock down you better film it or ask a friend to film Every second of the trip. Save it. It will be a great life lesson on how easy it is to loose your sanity without a clue that it is happening. This drug can destroy your life in 1 hour or if you are lucky It can put you in embarrassing situations that will drive you crazy when you remember it for the rest of your life.

My coworker was caught, by a neighbor, in his backyard sitting on his kids' swing...BUTT NAKED😂😂😂😂 & a former coworker was up all night cooking all kinds of foods while on Ambien. Her husband woke up mad bc it was a LOTTA food & its only just them in the house😂😂😂 She said it was a waste bc there's no telling what all she put into the food while she was cooking & "sleeping" at the same time🤣🤣🤣 that's ONE pill I'll never trust

Not xans. Ambien works on a common neurotransmitter, GABA A, buts that basically where the similarities end. Ambien can and will induce delirium on moderate to high doses, sometimes even on the basic recommended dose given by your doctor. This simply does not happen with benzodiazepine administration
