I think it’s awesome that Jeffery Dean Morgan is getting a shot in the boys! Loved him as Negan, probably one of my favourite actors in series because his acting is really top notch

This is what a real trailer is supposed to look like. The best anticipating scenes from the season WITHOUT ANY CONTEXT! Most movies ruin the entire story by making the trailer a summary rather than a hook. THIS is how you hook an audience without giving anything away! Bravo!

You know this is a teaser, right? I've never seen a teaser give away everything.
The amount of times I have seen this exact same unoriginal comment on movie trailers contradicts the point of them entirely. I have seen them so many times this year that it's pretty obvious that "most" movie trailers are not actually spoiling their entire plots in their respective trailers.
It's really a joke at this point people actually still run with this unironically. People liking and agreeing with this must not watch a lot of films or see a lot of trailers on social media if they seriously think this is a thing.

This person is right so you either haven't been paying attention after seeing the trailer than the movie or haven't see too many that has done this which ig is possible but it is annoying going to see something an thinking there will be more to the story since the trailer is supposed to tease but it actually spoiled it all
Homelander starting to make some strategic moves rather than just gettong progressively more insane is exactly what we need. The idea of him using Vought to actively sew division in the public so that he can be the one to Syndrome in and be the hero is really cool and shows what really happens when you give a weapon as powerful as a multiconglomerate corporation to an absolute lunatic.

The worst thing about this series is that it's gonna end....the casting, the acting, the execution, everything is just perfect...like Homelander.
To be honest this is a series that definitely needs to end by S5. S3's ending already felt like a pointless reset instead of actual progression of the story. Can only dangle the threat of HL breaking and going on a mass rampage for so long.
No, I think that's the best thing about modern TV, it's learning to end, so many things go on for too long and their final season ends up being them just fading away and being canned instead of actually finishing their story

The Casting in this series are all on point From Homelander to Butcher to even Hughie, it maybe different from the comics but I feel everyone played their part to perfection! Gonna miss this series when it ends.

I actually like how recent comic series (The Boys and Invincible) create a universe in line or canonical to the shows... Show's their willing to adapt beyond their own points...
We should give the show a chance to grow again like in the third season, but I already miss Soldier Boy.

The Boys is living proof that all this 'stay faithful to the source material' or not isn't what makes or breaks a show. The Boys comic is a schlocky 'edgelord era' graphic novel. The show elevantes that not by imitation or slavish faithfulness but by smart writing and a stelar cast of actors and people behind the camera. THAT'S what makes or breaks shows.
The Boys is exceptional. Every season gets better than the previous one and the casting is pitch perfect.
Season 2 is pretty dull imo. Generic villain. Slow pacing. Deep's arc leads to nowhere.

I haven't been into a show in years. This has me hooked. I can't wait for this season. It looks epic. This man was made to play Homelander.
Homelander, in my opinion, is probably one of the greatest cinema characters of all time. He doesn't even have to talk and you can just see the horror that's in him.

Well I imagine it has something to do with the fact that Jeffery Dean Morgan was briefly on Supernatural, which Kripke was showrunner for. Not that I'm complaining, he's a great actor

I thought Gen V would be a cheap cash grab but it was actually a really solid series. I dont think I can put it above the Boys but that seems like an impossible task to beat out the original that is already so good.
They presented Gen V like a spinoff but its actually just an exention of season 3 of the boys and ties right into season 4 it was a brilliant idea

The problem with Gen V is that not a single character was likable. You didn’t care about any of them. At least I didn’t. It was Euphoria with powers.
Antony Starr is one of the most underrated actors out there. It blows my mind this guy doesn’t have loads of awards. Him as Homelander is just BRILLIANT!

idk, it's cause I think honestly, superhero (or villain) roles aren't that hard to do as actors. Don't get me wrong, I think Antony Starr as Homelander is great. But it's much easier to play a compelling Supe than a compelling character in a normal world drama. That's my theory why he hasn't gotten one yet.

I'm really excited for this! The angle they seem to be taking on Homelander makes me relieved that he seems to be using the politics just to further himself rather than being a figurehead for one side. Make the humans fight eachother while you play hero.

Anthony Starr's portrayal of Homelander is definitely up there with some of TV's the greatest villains.
His mere presence is frightening and you will be scared through the screen, despite this being a fictional character in a fictional world.

The Boys is one of Amazon Prime's shows to watch out for. It's been a while, and now they're finally back with the fourth season. Gen V is still waiting for their second season; they're still sitting in the backburner waiting to be finally released from their cage.

Currently in the process of rewatching Banshee... and Antony Starr is just THAT guy, he absolutely steals the show in every scene. If ever there was a perfect casting for homelander, it’s him. The man is just talent personified.
