@@terminalvelocity635I think they're referring to the fact that in public lobbies and whenever Etan plays, there is a tendency to be one side that is just outclassing the other one completely, to the point that it's not even a match, it's just an execution

Firework and Alex held on in that last match for an insanely long time, I was hoping they could make a comeback
8:03 ... Damn, I've never seen such a perfectly lined up laser before. Ever. He had some good aim when he took out the top target too. Funny to see some of the worst aim I've ever seen and some of the best aim I've ever seen all in one short match. I know it's not an extra large map with extra long distances... but that kind of aim is still hard to achieve.
All those mines going at once and I instantly had to check the comments section. Base standing, but every mine destroyed was a heck of a shot.

That was a beautiful last match! Zombiebase Alex just refusing to die, the potential for them to come back always just barely out of reach, very exciting watch.
Certainly didnt expect it to be this decicive, but what a defense in the end!

1st game the upper player on the right side named "klaualles" would be pronounced something like the following. "klau" was correctly spoken by incursus. after that think of the word "ally". that is the "all" pard or the name. the "es" would be spoken like the 1st 2 letters of "espionage".

Incursus, there were a lot of sudden "jumps" in the last match, they were short (some seconds each) but really distracting. I don't know if that's on purpose or an artifacts, but if it's the latter you might want to check the videos after exporting.
Anyone else just find themselves rooting for the one that is getting ganked just to see an unlikely upset.

it conveys visually what you're currently watching isn't live game but a slowed down version of the destruction of a core.

@@tkalle1299it's just incursus' edit, he made this template for himself and used that here. It's the same software he uses while transitioning between the game and the lobby or whatever on stream

Your pronounciation of klau is pretty close. alles is pronounced al-les (short a and e sounds, a just like in armadillo)
23:00 Damn, I was wondering how that took out the core. It seemed so far and at regular speed it looked like the nuke blew up at the surface without penetrating, or like it just magically jumped ahead several feet in a single frame. I wonder if that's the way the game tries to make up for latency.
It‘s just warthog active. It boosts the damage output of the nuke.
It managed to fly into the flak gun's pocket and blew up inside, which destroyed the core that was already on 9%.

that first match was probably the worst aim I've ever seen out of firework, no attempt to adjust aim, just 3 full out whiffs that are way off the mark, I know he's better than that.
Nerf tiny doors. It prevents counterplay. Adds to “snowballing”. Less fun
It makes you feel better when you get that snipe though
And tiny doors weren't "created" by the game devs, they're just a byproduct of the modular base building aspect of the game.
It's a competitive scene, of course they'll use and abuse any trick they can squeeze out of the basic game mechanics.
Yea so I don't think it was an intended feature but when players realised that door speed is constant (ie tiles/second) and smaller doors open and close faster, it became the meta at the competitive scene.
If you wanted to nerf this, you could potentially decrease the speed very slightly according its length at a certain ratio so they are less powerful but it won't change much of anything
