Can we also get this older gentleman a kitty bed for his favorite spot under the side table by the vent? I’m sure a cushy bed would make that spot 100% better.

@BriannaLKay It’s possible they’ve tried in the past and kitty prefers the floor🤷♀️I’ve been blessed with some awesome cats in life. I had an old cat that loved the cool tiled kitchen floor ( he was a big boy) and another old timer kitty ( skinny arthritic old man) that loved the floor heat vent by patio door. Back then I cut a square piece of foam to go over the floor vent with the vent grate part cut out. ( so he was up off the cold tile) .That cat would sit on foam with warm air coming from underneath while he looked out kitchen patio door. I’m working on bedding options now for 2 old cats I got this year basically seeing what works. His cat is 17 years old they’re doing something right😉

Take out the coffee table. It will give the cat more room. But the house looks amazing. I think he likes it.
The cat grass window box was already superior but I fainted when you "installed" his TV. This brought me much joy.
Anyone who goes to these lengths to make their flooffy bff happy, is a *good* soul, my kind of person.

never thought id care about cats but after aquiring a stray with kittens in my backyard this is giving me ideas to help them stay healthy and safe thanks
You can do this in wood for outside, we build a few for our strays 😍

@@Woodman-Spare-that-treeYes it is. I happen to know that his cat is a Russian Blue. I had one just like him. His name was Rascal. He had to be put to sleep bc he had an inoperable tumor. Rascal was 17 as well. 😭

Giuseppe reminds me of my past cat, Jon-Luc. It looks like your kitty has the silver ticking, as mine did, as opposed to the matte gray. I used to call Jonny my little gray cloud with a silver lining. Thank you for sharing this video with us!

He prob likes it by the vent because it’s warm/cool. Put a little warming pad in the house and he’ll be in there all the time.

We (kids and I) build several houses for our smaller animals and some stray cats. Cardboard for inside, wood for outside. The animals love it as much as we do!

this is precious and his little house turned out so cute! Maybe he was being so cautious about the couch that had fur that looked like him...he might have wondered what other cat that "fur" came off of! LOL 😂 This would be a fun project for my son and I to make for our cats - there is always plenty of cardboard boxes around to use. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you. This was so sweet. I love seeing love shown for animals. ❤ The lights may be too bright for him as cats' eyes are sensitive to bright light. I would have put velcro on the dishes so they can be cleaned.

I recently just made a bed time sleep area for my two boys. They get into the garbage and are too loud when it's bedtime.
So I made them a nice bedroom under the bathroom sink.

This was really cool. He may be sleeping near the vent because he's cold. We have an elderly cat and he to kept looking for warm places so we got him a self heating bed. Now he sleeps forever and has started grooming himself more and is a little more playful.
And I thought I was the only one who did wonderful stuff for their pets. I'm making my munchkin a cardboard house with all the amenities to. ❤

This is sweet. My cat passed last month - he was old and sick, but it's never easy of course. He wasn't one for hiding in houses, but I did build him a litter box enclosure because he was more comfortable with large litter boxes (like breeze XL) and nothing on the market accommodated that. Excellent work here.
